My
mother
who
is
in
her
80's
took
their
small
dog
in
to
get
it's
routine
shots
and
ask
about
some
limping
the
dog
had
been
exibiting
a
few
days
before
but
not
now.
Henderson
Animal
Hospital
has
been
the
dogs
only
vet
for
the
last
11
years.
Once
my
mother
asked
about
the
limping,
that
all
of
a
sudden
turned
the
visit
from
a
routine
visit
into
a
special
visit
with
additional
charge.
She
was
given
a
price
for
Xray's
and
was
told
that
depending
on
what
was
found
could
be
prescribed
some
medicine
for
an
additional
price.
After
a
while
they
came
out
and
said
the
Xray
table
wasn't
working
and
that
she
could
leave
the
dog
and
they
would
call
when
they
got
the
Xrays
completed.
When
they
were
done
with
the
xray
and
exam
the
dog
was
brought
out
and
sat
beside
my
mom.
The
Doctor
came
out
and
said
there
was
some
calcium
buildup
in
the
left
hip
and
arthritis
starting
in
the
right
hip.
My
mother
didn't
notice
until
the
dog
went
to
get
up
in
the
car
that
she
couldn't
and
mom
had
to
help
her
get
into
the
car.
She
couldn't
put
any
weight
on
her
left
leg
at
all.
Now
remember
the
original
leg
that
was
asked
about
was
the
Right
leg
which
she
was
walking
on
fine.
She
was
walking
of
both
legs
just
fine
when
they
went
in.
They
prescribed
medicine
and
was
sent
home.
My
mom
thought
that
maybe
the
dog
had
just
laid
on
her
left
side
wrong
and
the
leg
was
stiff
or
something.
That
evening
the
dog
was
having
a
hard
time
moving
around
so
my
mother
called
the
vets
office.
She
was
told
that
what
was
being
reported
would
be
put
in
her
file
and
that
someone
would
call.
We
didn't
receive
a
call
that
evening
or
the
next
day
so
she
called
again
and
was
told
that
the
note
is
on
his
desk.
My
mom
said
she
just
wanted
to
find
out
what
was
wrong
and
what
we
needed
to
do.
The
person
who
answered
the
phone
said
to
hold
on
and
went
to
ask.
When
she
came
back
on
the
phone
she
said
that
the
vet
had
written
that
the
dog
might
have
a
torn
tendon
or
ligament
and
the
doctor
would
call.
This
last
bit
of
news
was
the
first
time
hearing
of
it
and
after
the
comment
from
them
that
the
dog
was
"Fiesty"
we
suspected
that
something
happened
during
the
Xray
because
the
only
thing
that
was
discussed
was
calcium
deposits
and
arthritis
when
they
returned
the
dog
to
my
mother
and
now
all
of
a
sudden
she
could
have
tendon
or
ligament
damage?
Well
this
was
a
surprise
to
us.
We
didn't
recieve
a
call
the
next
day
and
have
yet
to
get
a
call.
At
this
point
if
we
don't
get
a
call
back,
we
are
going
to
contact
an
Animal
Attorney.
Needless
to
say,
the
search
for
a
new
Vet
is
in
process.
