I stay here often. It’s nice enough and in the most convenient location for a Salt Lake City trip if you’re going to be mobile around the valley. <20 min from anywhere you might need to be. The staff is usually very friendly helpful and efficient but one woman kind of ruined my check in experience recently. It’s supposed to be the same thing every time, a friendly hello, give my ID and credit card for my prepaid room, and get my keys. Instead, a woman made me wait to check in for about 30 minutes for special accommodations I did not need and did not request. I told her that I just needed a place to sleep for the night and was in a hurry to drop my bags and leave but I felt like she didn’t listen to a word I said. She also had a bit of an attitude with me and asked illegal questions pertaining to a disability which I don’t mind, but I hope the staff is properly educated in that area for future reference because staff members and companies can get in a lot of trouble for that. I stayed there 2 nights over the course of a weekend. The first night was excellent, check in was smooth and my room was great. The second night was unfortunately in the room with special accommodations I didn’t request and it was a lot noisier and hard to sleep on the first floor. I will surely be staying here again and look forward to seeing if the staff take this hopefully constructive feedback.

FYI did not have SmartTVs to use Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Wish I had known before booking because, unfortunately, we were in the room a lot!

We’ve stayed here TWICE now. Both times we have requested sheets to make a bed for a child. BOTH times we’ve had to call and BUG them to get the sheets to us. It took over TWO hours both times & both times they said “we’ve just finished a load and I will find someone to bring some to you.” A complete JOKE. There was also a footprint on the bathroom floor and found a candy wrapper on the floor. Disappointed to the max.

Hotel is very cheap and has an even cheaper face lift. Hope you don't like breakfast because the staff sure doesn't. Breakfast doesn't start at 6:30 the staff shows up at 6:30. Also it's $6 in quarters for one load of laundry. Yes quarters! It takes two dollars to run each machine and two cycles in the dryer to dry even a small load. I strongly recommend the hotel on the corner over this place.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have gone to the front desk for the 3rd day in a row now asking for my room to be cleaned, towels and bedsheets replaced. They keep telling me that my room will be the last one to be serviced for the day but they have been saying this for 3 days straight. I've been here for almost 3 weeks because of work and they have only cleaned my room the first week.

I stayed at this hotel for an original stay of three weeks, I left after the first four days. First room I checked into, had towels, sheets and trash still in the room. I was quickly given the room next to me but I left for two hours came back and the room was hotter inside than outside. I was moved to a room downstairs just below the room that had no ac and the second night there was no water coming out. Water pressure was horrible when it did come back on so I just took a shower in the pool. The property manager was walking around the hotel like as if nothing was wrong. Busy time of the year here I guess in July but this place was horrible. The only thing that was decent was the hotel staff was ok enough. It wasn’t their fault that nothing worked. The maintenance lady was Spanish speaking so she didn’t speak much English but very nice lady said “sorry” and was extremely apologetic. The manager, I don’t know his name but he needs to do better. Asked the front desk for him to call me and he never did. I went to the residence inn in Murray and they treated me way better! Oh and they had water pressure and AC. Shocker!

This was a great location with a friendly staff. However, I did have an issue where my room had to be changed twice because the air conditioning was not working. They were quick to resolve the issue though. The rooms are dated but a decent and comfortable place to lay your head.

We stayed for six nights in a 1 bedroom suite and our room was not cleaned any of those days. We ended up having to take out our own trash. The continental breakfast was pretty decent, and the pool and hot tub were both very fun and not super busy.

Bad experience. The fist room wasn’t cleaning. In the second we had to make our third bed and ask for sheet in the lobby. There looks like no laundry

This location has become my favorite in the Salt Lake City area. Apparently it serves the ski areas up in the hills, so I doubt I'll get my corporate rate come winter, but they were accommodating enough this year and last in the summer months. The rooms I've gotten are quite comfortable and have good surface area (desk space) for a business traveler. It's not particularly near anything besides a few pub-grub establishments, but really it's a good place to unwind and not far away from shopping so still five stars on location. There tends to be a lot of families, but little kids squealing and having a good time at the pool don't bother me. It's still quiet at night.

Great quiet place with fantastic beds. Slept amazingly. Awesome breakfast options; even had some I can eat (and I have a ton of severe allergies) Hotel includes mini pickleball/tennis/basketball court, along with pool and hot tub.

Great location just about 30 minutes from the airport and with a spectacular view of the mountains if your room faces the west. Several good coffee and restaurant options within walking distance. Spacious and clean rooms. The breakfast was very good. Besides the standard hotel items, there were also daily options that were creative and delicious such as spinach and swiss crustless quiche, and tomato and feta egg white frittata. The staff was also very cheery and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The wing we were in was apparently not utilized frequently as there were malfunctioning air conditioning units, non working garbage disposal, and leaking pipes..resulting in pack up and move again

This hotel was friendly and convenient to my office. But in general needs to be updated. Beautiful suspension bridge and path near by.

I’ve spent the last week and a half driving cross country with my 2 cats for a move, and this was one of my favorite places, wish I could’ve stayed another night! Great views, a fireplace, and the best breakfast I saw on my trip.

The kitchen was filthy. I didn't see one utensil that was clean, a bowl still had some kind of oily grossness in it and a cabinet had crumbs everywhere with gum in the corner. Really calls into question what else was not cleaned in my room. At 0830 on the day I was set to leave, the maid walked into my room unannounced and ran away when I went to the door to question who was there. The hot tub was not hot. I've stayed here before with no issues but this time was definitely a fail. A far departure from cleanliness I would expect from a marriott. I'd recommend trying one of the other local hotels.

Nice big room, clean and comfortable. Good location for a weekend ski holiday. Decent breakfast, friendly staff. BUT, we were looking forward to soaking in the hot tub after a full day of skiing and we booked this hotel because it advertised a hot tub. Checked in and learned that the hot tub has been out of service for a long time. Honestly, we would have booked elsewhere if we had known and it seems a bit dishonest of the hotel to advertise a hot tub, when in fact the hot tub has been out of service for a very long time. Disappointed.

Our go to place when skiing Snowbird/Alta. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Good restaurants in walking distance. Frequent buses to the slopes. ⛷

The staff is really nice BUT this place is sooo old and dirty my kids couldn't stop sneezing and blowing their noses...we had a longer stay booked but moved to a different Marriott after the second night.

Not LGBTQ+ friendly and racial prejudice manager. I stayed here for close to a month off and on cause of my job. It’s usually my partners daughter and myself when I stay. I have never had a guest over nor has my partner ever even stayed here up until this last stay. On the 19th of august 2022 I booked a single night at the residence inn my life partner and his daughter were present at check inn. This is one of many check ins equaling almost a whole month total in the last 6-7 weeks. I almost always book with Priceline just because the rate is the lowest and I’m trying to avoid spending more than I have to. Well apparently my first room flooded and soaked all our bags and so we were moved to another room on the 2nd story. I must mention as well that my partner is (African American) black. All these accusations occurred only after he came to stay. I was informed at check out that I am no longer welcome to the property. A little confused I asked what reason is it they have and for why? I was told that I book my rooms far too often on Priceline and because of this and an incident in the past completely irrelevant to me where a interracial couple renting here was also making drugs and they had booked through Priceline. So because they feel that because I had booked through Priceline I must be making drugs in my room. I asked why they would even come to this conclusion as neither of us use drugs nor do we look the part. I asked was there something they found perhaps. I was told that nothing was found or anything but the first room I was moved from smelt funky. I reminded him of the flooded bedroom. I was told I booked all my stays through Priceline and this was another reason and then he claimed they had trouble receiving my payments from Priceline. So I asked him exactly what payments. I told him I will get Priceline on the phone immediately and we will correct anything that wasn’t paid. He then couldn’t give me a payment they didn’t receive. Then I was told I have either friend or daughter written on my bookings and just seems odd I have that filled in. I said I don’t fill in the friend section that’s just automatically filled in sometimes I correct it and put daughter as an additional guess but I can’t help it puts friends on it’s own. I was banned from the hotel. It’s very odd that this was all the sudden a problem yet nothing to back their assumptions. I will discussing beginning litigation with my attorney as this is very obviously racial discrimination and homophobic discrimination. They had no issue with me till I brought my partner and introduced him as such at check in then suddenly I am banned from my favorite hotel for allegedly cooking dope stealing hotel stays making dope and having raving parties out of nowhere. Definitely not for being gay or with a black man as my partner. It’s ok Marriott you ignored my formal complaint let’s see how a big noisy public lawsuit looks.

Had a great stay there. The hotel located at a quiet and safe neighborhood. The room was wide and clean although it might be a little bit outdated, the breakfast was nice.

Casey was the only one who made the process of checking in very easy. We had to extend our stay due to family in hospital and Judith made it hard and not even making sense. Customer service isnt really something that matters to her because she didnt even get our room cleaned either.

After some plumbing issues at home we needed a quick local spot to crash for a few days. Didn't want to pay cleaning fees on Airbnb so used a hotel app to score a solid rate on a room here. The room had two beds , a separate living area with pull out couch and a full sized kitchen with dishwasher! They also serve breakfast and are conveniently located near 215 and Cottonwood Heights. Hit Hogs Wallow for some dinner and it ended being a nice weekend away! Clean and big rooms , safe parking , and helpful staff made a potentially rough weekend , a fun staycation instead.

In spite of multiple requests, our room was never cleaned over the course of a week. Managers and desk staff alike were unconcerned to the point of lying about the cleaning schedule, and only the most halfhearted attempt was made to address the issue on the seventh day of our stay. The hotel itself is generally clean and well-maintained, but we will not be repeating our stay or recommending this hotel after seeing how they addressed the most basic expectations for room cleanliness.

Very convenient for skiing at a good price. We are all hoping for better breakfast and food options.

Overview: great for a weekend, but would not recommend in hot weather or longer term. Hotel room: the room is an older style. Pro tip bring an hdmi cable so you can connect your laptop. The tv is old and doesn’t connect to the streaming services unlike other residence inn. My biggest complaint was the temperature control. This room got very hot in any sort of temperature that was above 70. We tried the ac and talked to staff and they just mentioned it’s an older unit. The hallways were always colder than our room on the hot days and it made it very uncomfortable. Hotel: the hotel is a bit older. As a result not a lot of the newer amenities and it just has a few quirks. Has a basketball court and tennis court which is cool. Price: this is about the same price as all the other mariottt. I found cheaper around the other towns, but with the location it’s one of the only ones. Updates since Covid: breakfast is available but cleaning services are more limited. You can always ask for towels, dishwasher detergent etc. Staff: the highlight of the trip. The staff is very friendly and nice.

Would recommend for short term stay, but not long term (anything over a week). Subpar service for the price.
