This
is
the
review
I
initially
left:
My
husband
passed
away
in
February.
One
thing
we
used
to
love
doing
was
to
periodically
stay
at
the
Homewood
suites
in
bricktown
just
to
get
away
and
so
the
kids
could
swim.
He
would
play
with
them
in
the
pool
and
they
would
have
a
good
old
time.
This
was
our
fall
break
so
I
decided
to
take
them
and
reminisce
about
all
the
times
we
used
to
go
with
dad.
The
pool
was
absolutely
freezing!
Additionally,
the
girl
at
the
front
desk
did
not
care
or
do
ANYTHING
about
it!
She
simply
said,
"Yeah,
they
don't
heat
the
pool."
My
reaction
was,
of
course,
why
would
you
advertise
an
indoor
pool
if
people
could
not
swim
in
it
in
cold
weather??
That
was
90%
of
the
reason
why
we
chose
to
stay
there.
I
asked
the
girl
who
was
on
duty
at
the
front
desk
if
we
could
possibly
use
the
Hampton
inns
pool
since
I
know
they
are
owned
by
Hilton
also.
She
said,
no,
that
pool
was
only
for
those
guests!
The
next
morning,
I
called
the
front
desk
and
asked
to
have
a
manager
call
me.
No
one
ever
did.
Later
we
tried
to
go
back
and
swim
again
and
it
was
even
colder.
I
went
to
the
front
desk
and
asked
to
speak
to
a
manager.
This
manager
was
very
understanding
and
said
she
would
have
someone
come
look
at
it.
A
woman
did
come
and
look
into
the
maintenance
closet
and
she
said
that
it
was
set
on
80゚.
I
told
her
that
was
impossible
because
the
pool
was
absolutely
freezing
and
the
thermostat
must
be
broken.
I
asked
if
she
could
have
maintenance
look
at
it
when
they
came
back
on
Friday
as
it
was
after
5.
This
woman
did
give
us
one
free
night's
day
so
we
only
had
to
pay
for
1
night.
I
really
appreciated
that,
But
I
would
have
much
rather
paid
more
for
our
stay
and
had
a
pool
that
my
kids
and
I
could
have
enjoyed!
I
chose
this
rating
because
of
the
lack
of
immediate
response
to
our
complaints
about
the
pool.
My
kids
did
not
get
to
have
a
fun
swim
which
was
what
they
had
been
looking
forward
to
all
week.
Hilton
left
a
response
stating
in
part
that
they
were
sorry
that
my
stay
didn't
live
up
to
my
"high"
expectations.
Apparently,
expecting
a
hotel
to
follow
through
with
what
they
advertise,
i.e.,
an
indoor
pool
that
could
actually
be
used,
and
expecting
a
return
phone
call
from
a
manager
when
you
ask
for
one
are
"high"
expectations
according
to
Hilton.
After
years
of
patronage,
I
won't
trouble
them
with
any
more
of
my
expectations
but
will
take
my
family's
business
elsewhere..
