A very interesting visit, both the museum and the mine. A ten for the guide who accompanied us on the visit, I don't remember her name but it's easy to know who she is because she has a French accent. He explained everything to us very well, making the visit enjoyable and educational. You must reserve before going, by calling or sending an email to the phone number or address indicated on their website. Highly recommended to go with children.

(Translated by Google) A very interesting visit, I had never been inside a mine, it is impressive. Very good guide. Highly recommended for adults and children. Then see the town and something else. Beautiful landscapes.

It's very good, you get an idea of what the working conditions of those poor people were like. The castle is very beautiful, made of wood, and the guide explained everything very well. The only thing is that they do not have cheaper tickets for large families.

(Translated by Google) Very interesting and pleasant guided tour of the oldest coal mine, underwater in Spain (1833) - (1915) WHERE WE EXPERIENCE A RETURN TO THE PAST ... Located on the seafront. They drilled up to 80 meters below sea level. And expand galleries more than 200 meters from the coast.

(Translated by Google) The museum is very beautiful and interesting. The exhibition is not very big but the view of the old mine is worth it. I believe, however, that some element should have better conservation, but without a doubt the visit is highly recommended.

Very interesting place. You get a visit to the mine if you book beforehand, though most of the old mine is flooded with water so you'll get down until -20 meters only of more than -150 or so.

The beach is fine sand. Very flat, ideal for walking along the shore. It has a lifeguard service, a shower and an access ramp for chairs, wheelchairs and strollers, as well as stairs. The parking lot is about 200 m from the access to the beach, which is reached by crossing a small arch that remains of primitive sheet metal.

You have to reserve to see the mines. The museum is not necessary, but it is better to go early so you can see everything. Very interesting, worth paying to see.

A lot of history of the mine from 1830 up to now. It is possible to visit the underground galleries. Booking in advance is required

(Translated by Google) The place where the museum is located is fantastic. For a guided tour it is better to book. Your website is very clear. What was the Arnao mine has the first vertical shaft in Spain and it extended under the sea, being the only one in Europe in this sense. The surrounding area is wide and well-kept. There is a bar on the esplanade and access to the beach. From there there is a very beautiful coastal route that reaches Santa Maria del Mar. It is worth climbing a few meters to enjoy great views.

👍👍 Ideal to enjoy a leisurely stroll. With very nice views of Salinas beach, San Juan de Nieva beach and the Cantabrian Sea, especially from the viewpoint. 👍👍 Beautiful. An impressive grotto, it leaves you with your mouth open. The visit groups are small, which is a luxury, because this type of visit is normally done in large groups. It is a private grotto, discovered by the owner's father, and does not have state aid, so the price, for its maintenance,...
