Arrived without booking a table,they were very busy but the staff made up a table for us and were extremely attentive and helped us choose our food. The service was fantastic….drinks promptly arrived and fifteen minutes later we were served our food. The Chef prepared us a platter of fish and cheese….absolutely superb….A real gem.

This restaurant in Benalmadena Pueblo is a great find with food that is nothing but spectacular. Eating off the specials menu, we had a Langoustine soup to start and a Surf and Turf main where the steak was cooked to perfection and cut like butter. The restaurant was not busy but still a bit out of season but the service and care given to us was great and it will be definately on our list of places to eat during our next visit to the Costa Del Sol.

Amazing food and fantastic staff. I can't recommend the food more it's excellent. The homemade piri piri sauce is to die for. Give it a try you will not be disappointed, I promise.

Great little restaurant. We hadn't booked but they fitted us in and so glad they did. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection and the wife had fish and chips also superb. Very reasonable prices, service and food were excellent. The complimentary after meal drink was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

Sunday 3rd April 6 couples from our Walking Football group spent the whole afternoon at the Lilac Tree having Sunday lunch. We all agreed the food was fabulous and excellent value for money. The staff were very attentive and pleasant and they helped make our afternoon special. So a big thank you you to Terry and the team. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Very nice quiet place with delicious food. The best to visit with children. Chicken wings barbecue was superb! We will come back soon 😉

Lovely little restaurant on an orange tree covered plaza in the center of beautiful Benalmadena Pueblo. The food is yummy here, a blend of Spanish and international items. The service couldn't be friendlier. In particular, we liked our waiter from Canada/Brazil. We will be back!

Very nice casual restaurant. We had a selection of tapas and they were all better than you would expect. Excellent chorizo and the tempura chicken was succulent and delicious. Good service and food in a quiet plaza. Recommended.

Both staff (1 man 1 lady), very friendly and English spoken if required. Service in itself a little slow, but it was pleasant experience not being rushed. We had 3 tapas, a beer & glass of wine - reasonably priced. Food was simply cooked and tasty. Would go again if in the area. One negative - no tea/coffee or hot drinks available as a normal.

Amazing place for dinner! In the beautiful place. Service is really good, food came fast. Staff is nice and friendly, speaks english. Has vegetarian menu! I would recommend.

Dinner & drinks excellent. Yolanda was an all star server! dinner lovely, 2 beer batterd cod & 2 Thai Shrimp curry…… we were all happy with everything @ portion sizes! Thank you!! We will be back!

The restaurant has moved to this new location which gives them more room to serve excellent tapas and evening meals. Service was really attentive (as always) and every dish we had was delicious. Highly recommended.

It's a small tapas bar with great food. It's not a big place, quite small actually but it's so nice and the food is delicious!! It was a fantastic option for the last meal in Spain!!

Hidden away in the old town, only found due to Google maps, looked quiet compared to the bustling restaurants in the centre, however we thoroughly enjoyed the drinks & tapas, would be nice to try the dinner menu of an evening if we're back in the area

Great tapas, great service too. Nice and relaxed. Very very busy but still looked after us, menu changes regularly. Highly recommend. In an ever changing hospitality environment in this village u hope this place not just survives but thrives too

Brilliant Sunday lunch, lovely quiet location, great food and reasonable prices. One beef, one lamb, 4 drinks and an absolutely gorgeous cherry pie and ice cream for just over €34.00

English run little restaurant / bar in the pueblo just off of the main square. A good alternative to typical Spanish fare.

Usually just have the local cusine on holiday, but decided this time to try out the Lilac Tree on a recommendation. So glad we had. Sunday roasts were excellent in price and portion sizes. Staff and Chef were excellent when asked about gluten free choices.

Absolutely unbelievable food. Honestly hands down the best food I’ve had in Benalmadena. Everything was so fresh and perfect flavour. Cannot recommend it enough!
