Absolutely wonderful and the best Indian food I have had in Spain. Tried a few Nepalese dishes and they were divine.

Unbelievably lovely Indian place, with the nicest staff (especially Vinita!) and the best Indian I’ve had in Spain. Truly a wonderful experience every time I’ve gone, and it’s without a doubt the only place we go for dinner after a beach day in Nerja. Menú del día is unbeatable, and I’d highly recommend asking for spice (one of the few places that will actually add some heat to a dish!). The samosas are the best I’ve ever had, as well. Gracias por todo!

Food - To die for. I'm not even kidding, this place is legit. Who knew the best Nepalese/Indian food is just off the beach in Nerja, Spain. Life is full of these wonderful surprises. Staff - Very, very friendly, and seem to remember their (regular) customers, makes you feel welcome. Overall excellent experience, 10/10 would definitely go again.

Excellent food and service ! Here you can get food that amazes you. Good English speaking waitress / waiter. We had starters , main course and a side . All was very good . Also nan bread with cheese and garlic - amazing 🤩! The rice with coconut was so good . And if you are full at the end of the meal you can get a doggy bag . This is truly the best of its kind in Nerja . Thanks for this wonderful meal. We are sure to come back .

Was very excited to see Nerja had a Nepalese restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Service was great, and the food portions and prices reasonable. I had the momos which were light and delicious, and the chutney was the perfect accompaniment. If only they were open during the day as I might have had two portions they were that good but I don't like to overeat in the evening! For mains I had the dahl and a roti which were yummy too. I was lucky to be able to walk in but suspect you should book as they were pretty busy but that didn't affect their excellent service at all.

Pahuna is in a great location, not far from a paid parking. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome. We ordered two mains, two rice and a cheese garlic naan. The food was quick to arrive and was absolutely delicious. Good portion size, amazing flavour, good quality ingredients and cooked beautifully. It is advisable to book before hand as the place was quite full. Staff speak both English and Spanish.

The service and food in this place is unbelievable.. went there last night April 2nd and the 2 ladies working were so busy but so friendly and attentive. The food was the freshest I've ever had from a restaurant. Everything was delicious. I couldn't recommend this place more. The veg samosas we're an absolute highlight!

Read some reviews before coming here and was not disappointed, best Nepalese/Indian food I have ever had. The waiting staff were excellent, super friendly and very helpful, they explained what each dish was and when they brought it out explained how it was cooked. Everything was super fresh and unbelievably tasty. Will definitely return here again and I’ve no doubt lovers of this style of food who eat here will do the same.. love it.

Excellent dining, good english speaking waitors. Took a bit long before whe get dinner, they maked it up with a speciality of the house. The quality of the food and service makes it worth waiting.

My husband and I have been ordering take out from them, and after the 1st time, the lady there remembered us, we felt special, and we kept coming back. They are very welcoming, friendly, polite. The food is very good, we love Indian food and have been to a fair amount of those restaurant around the world and the Pahuna Nepalese is up there. Not to miss, it is a must try and you will be hooked. Their prices are very reasonable. On weekend you should book your table.

Incredibly tasty! Don‘t forget to order the amazing homemade pickle! One of the best Indian restaurants I‘ve ever been to.

Excelente Indian (Nepali) cuisine, fantastic flavours and reasonable portions, never left hungry... A must each time we visit Nerja or La Herradura and Highly Recommend 💪

First visit here, ( was recommended) & won't be our last. Excellent food, choice, service. Waitress was lovely explaining everything, she tweeked one dish for us as we wanted it a little more spicy. Very attentive staff. Loved it.

A group of 7 of us had a great night here last weekend. Tried 5 starters and went with a main each. Naan and rice also. A few bottles of red and some bottles of Nepalese lager. We all had such a nice evening. Highly recommend. All the dishes were so tasty and the staff were brilliant.

Best Nepalese/Indian food we have ever eaten. Everything was absolutely delicious. The waitress was so efficient and friendly. My son is vegan and he said it was the best he ever ate as well. Thank you!

This is quit a tough review to leave. we really enjoyed the food, so much so we went twice. Service was great, waitress very attentive and the chef was happy to adjust the spice levels to our liking of HOT. However, i was made to feel slightly unconfortable by the gentelman at front of house, when the bill came it was 41 euros and i placed 50 on the table. Sadly this gentleman made the assumption this was a tip, this expectation made us feel uncomfortable. He nevertheless returned with our change after i explained it wasn't a tip. Just don't make assumptions like this, we would have tipped, but left less because my missus was a bit peeved.

Chandra was really polite, helpful and provided us with excellent customer service. Food was really good too. I would suggest reserving a table during holiday seasons as it can get very busy.

Friendly staff. Fast & tasty food. Great explanations. We had a wonderful time. Maybe need larger drinks but other than that, the food is well worth it & in large portions.

We were a party of 9 including two 3 Yr olds, a six year old and 6 adults. The service, waitress, food 😋 and restaurant were all outstanding. The waitress in particular was exceptionally good with our children and gave excellent advice regarding their food selection. Excellent value too. 10 out of 10.

After visiting last night I can only endorse all the positive reviews! The staff were exemplary, patiently explaining the dishes. We opted for four starters including battered prawns and tempura spinach, both were sublime. The portions were generous making it difficult for us to do justice to the mains, which were equally outstanding. If you are in the area and like curry make this a destination!

Excellent food we visited on Christmas Eve, so it was a set menu only, which worked out great, so stuffed by the end. Amrita is a lovely waitress, very chatty,

Very nice food, friendly service. A little expensive compared to other restaurants nearby, but if you want to treat yourself it's worth it. Himalayan herbs and tandoori cooked to perfection. Would have been 5 stars if only an accompanying side dish came with the main, like rice, naan roti or chapatti. Although the rice portions are quite large. A meal for one, Starter, Main (with added pilau rice and chappatti) and small Spanish Cava was just under 30 euro.
