The food was great, the service … not so much. We experienced very weird, uncalled for behavior from the waiter who was speaking to us in an extremely condescending manner. We did not feel welcomed and frankly this was the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. It seemed like they were making fun of us, whispering to each other when we asked to split the bill (apparently splitting the bill to them is a very hard task). Such a pity, I wish I could give zero stars, it’s not in any way okay to make customers feel like this at your restaurant…

Finally I found a true Italian food !!! By a long shot the best Italian so far in Amsterdam and the wine selection is great Grazie a voi Go try it out can’t go wrong !

Really nice atmosphere in this cozy Italian restaurant! And naturally, tasty Italian food. We have had a three course menu, with two glasses of wine each; the starters were very fresh and tasty (especially the burrata, recommended!). The main dishes, of course pasta!, were quite flavorful and rich albeit a bit lacking in seasoning. The desserts were also good, not the best tiramisu ever but the grandma's cake was great! The staff was very available and talkative! Really a nice experience overall!

We've been twice, as well as frequenting the deli next door several times a week, and the service and quality consistently deliver. The wine list is as amazing as the food, although small it is well curated and pairs masterfully with the dishes.

This restaurant is way overpriced for what you get. The ambience is somewhat nice with a nice open kitchen, but could use a bit more love, especially in the back of the restaurant. We ordered the ravioli for 18,50 euro but all we got was 6 small ravioli which I finished in 2 minutes, bruschetta was very small and not very special for 9 euros. The meat (maindish) was alright but also very small for the price you pay. We left the restaurant disappointed, hungry and with 67 euros less in our pocket. We went for a doner kebab opposite of the restaurant after we left. When you charge those prices, please deliver accordingly. We were not even asked how we liked the food or if we want a desert and we waited in general very long for everything, all these things are very basic things for a restaurant of this price class. Not to recommend :(

The Chef is crazy, amazing and super polite. When we need more explanation about the menu he jumped and tell us what we needed to know. Amazing Italian accent, we loved him! All the staff in general was really polite. Quailty and price are great. 5 stars!!

A lovely cozy place on a bustling street! The burrata was delicious! The carbonara supreme! Wonderful patient staff that answered our million questions! Great wine list and the music was nice as well!

Really lovely food, a little gem. It wasn't very busy when we were walking by and it was fantastic food with perfect flavours. I would recommend the swordfish ceviche, also the prawn and scallop ravioli. Excellent service, Italian food and wonderful wine. Thank you for a lovely evening

The staff was very nice. The food was OK but we expected more from Italians. The osso bucco rigatoni was something you could make at home and the meat wasn't very tender. But my friend (French) said her vongole was quite good. Otherwise nice atmosphere but the 2 person tables are much too small.

Best quality food on the Javastraat. We had an amazing evening. We where greeted by the most lovely lady who spoke Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch… WOW!!! She has the biggest smile convinced us to come and have a meal and we are coming back for sure. 😍 The food is next level… honestly!!! AM-AZ-ING!!!!!!!!!!!!’

Absolutely amazing!!! The food is beyond good. Italian food at it’s best!!! Even a simple dish like a Caprese looks gorgeous and tastes even better. We were blown away by the service and delicious food. Not very cheap, so if that’s what you’re in for, look somewhere else. If you want excellent food and wine with a killer limo cell, that is totally worth it. ❤️
