While we were talking to an employee, the supervisor grabbed her arm and pulled her at new customers who had just come into the store. I really feel sorry for the girl that she has to work under such a superior. I very much hope that this person does not run the store. Nobody should be treated like that, I hope she finds something new. Shortly before we left, the guy said "if you come back later she will still be there" - i hope Not.

We had a lot of fun there. The staff was very friendly and open minded. At the top floor you can get the chance to get a full experience of the museum. Enjoy!

The Cannabis Museum in Amsterdam is an absolute gem! A five-star experience from start to finish. The museum's comprehensive and educational exhibits provide a captivating journey through the history, culture, and uses of cannabis. The staff's knowledge and friendliness enhance the experience, offering valuable insights into this fascinating world. The museum's interactive displays and engaging presentations make it an informative and enjoyable visit for everyone, whether you're a curious explorer or a... connoisseur. A must-visit destination that combines education, history, and a deeper understanding of cannabis in a tasteful and enriching manner. You enter through the shop which is full of memorabilia and ingestible and inhaylible substances. I recommend buying tickets online as it comes with 10% discount in the shop and a goody bag.

Informative and cool. Staff is friendly, there’s a chilling seating area on the top floor, well chosen music and a place to relax for a while. 3 floors of a lot of useful info about what cannabis is/does which will make everyone more knowledgeable of this herb. Glad I popped up. Recommendable. 😎

It's ok but really just a shop with a few posters and a plant and other momo brillia, not worth the price and should not be called a museum, takes about 15 minutes to do the tour.

Interesting museum with a lot to see. You can go upstairs to smoke some weed & get advice on which coffee shops in Amsterdam are worth visiting. A bonus is that you come back multiple times.

Great museum. I learnt a lot The staff is so friendly and they give you a guide. You are not allowed to smoke there though but you can try one of their bongs on the third floor as long as you bring your own weed. Amazing experience overall. We even got a goodie bag when we got there😊😊

On 27-08-2021 I bought some items on the shop, among other a FlowerMate Vape marked at 120.00 Eur. I was charged 199.99 Eur for the machine and when claimed the 80.00 Eur overcharged, I was told to leave my IBAN for later credit. Until today the overcharged amount was never reimbursed. Not nice and very incorrect attitude towards customers.

The place scams with prices so beware if you are stoned. Keychains labeled 1 eur are put on the check for 5, clipper lighter deals are not applied, the promised 10% discount after the museum is also dismissed. Will be going tomorrow to return these items, keep your check everywhere guys.

The staff in the museum shop is extremely helpful and very good natured. The exhibits are well balanced and do well in maintaining a neutral stance on the cannabis (something which is yet to be studied completely). The staff is well aware and equipped to handle any questions you might have. I highly recommend trying the CBD tea at the end of the museum tour. Overall a very pleasant experience.

couldn't even go to the museum I was in the shop just browsing around and I saw some cool stuff so I took like a picture or two and then this "cashier" of the shop by the accent I hardly believe he was Italian - started telling me I'm making pictures of his shop and I shouldn't like very arrogant and agressive so i just decided to leave. But you're in a city of tourist it's quite normal people to just take pictures of random stuff. I hope he smokes some of his stuff to relax a bit.

Don't buy anything from the shop. Way overpriced. I was charged €70 for an item that online only cost €25. Sure it was my mistake going in expecting them to be decent business people and all but €70 for a product with an online retail price of €25 is outrageous.

Very interesting stuff but the best part was the top floor at the 'how we smoke' exhibit as we were allowed to try the Volcano vaporiser for free and the girl working there was very sweet to us and friendly.

Overrated Spot! I know we are in Amsterdam, city that prices are not normal like you are used to it . Even thought there are spot that abuse with costs!! To buy only a keychain or some presents are high prices you don't feel like going to see "the museum"

  • 5/5 Jazter M. 1 year ago on Google
Great museum. It has a very unique exposition of the history and properties of cannabis. It has the best staff i’ve found in this great country on top of that. Very recomendad to any stoner tourist. They even give you a gift bag!

  • 3/5 Fressia 4 months ago on Google
It's not what you think it is. Not much to see and a lot of uninteresting information. The most exciting part was the last floor where you can smoke some if you bring your own weed. They have vaporizers and other things to try. Your entrance ticket is valid for three days and they also give you a discount in their store.

Friendly guys at the counter and they did help me with my questions. However, I bought a G Pen Dash for 130 - 140 euros after they told me that it's a good device for a beginner. After checking other dutch stores, it seems that the device only costs 70 euros, so I paid double the price at this store.

Beside the topic, the experience is very interesting and informative, I’ve learnt more today about cannabis that ever in my life, and I didn’t expect it could be such a large and interesting plant. The workers are all very helpful, fun, and make the experience even more enjoyable. The price is fare for the visit and they also give you a small bag with discounts, stickers and lollipops, a very nice addition. Overall a very good experience that I suggest to everyone passing nearby

I really enjoyed the tour and the price is good too. I don't agree with some.of the reviews saying it's too much history, well... it's a museum. I found it very interesting to learn the the prohibiton of cannabis is something so new, it goes to show that most of us are just following rules and we even don't know why.

  • 4/5 Olivia D. 2 years ago on Google
Small space but learned a few things about the history. Easily got through the 3 floors in 30 minutes. Seemed to be a smoke spot on the top floor but I didn't visit it.
