Very nice museum, very informative and everything is beautifully displayed. We also met two funny guards who made a few jokes and were happy to tell us something about the temporary exhibition. The only disappointment was the museum cafe/restaurant: very bad service (by three waiters/waitresses!) and quite expensive too. But it did have a nice interior design!

Nice and clean, this ancient palace with interior garden is particularly suitable for a museum. The brabant collection on the first is a bit meh but we'll presented. Go if there's a special event otherwise only if in the neighbourhood.

A friend and I went to visit the Sigg Collection which was beautiful! We walked from the station to this museum, it's not a long walk and you go through cozy streets to get there. The museum had a lot of Dutch history presented in the most modern ways imaginable (upstairs part)

On our last visit there was the exhibition "Ashemenou" with 100 objects from the recent past. Very nice! The modern art was a bit too random to my liking, but I really liked the Venetian/Italian masters. The best part by far is the part which explains more about the history of North Brabant and especially Den Bosch.

Always a joy to visit this peaceful location in a busy city centre. A large collection of historical works, a tour through Brabant's growth over the centuries and consistently inspiring contemporary art shows, from both young creatives just starting out, through to established artists with career spanning shows. I even joined up with the Museumkaart so I can return as many times as I wish over the year and other places. It worked out that after about 4-5 shows everything else is for free, and you can return to amazing places like this again and again. And support them too!

The first hall wasn’t impressive at all. Makes you believe you can be an artist too by destroying a canvas with tools ⚒️ But the rest of the museum was nice!

The museum has couple exhibitions, modern art, history of the region, Van Gogh, and older paintings... The modern art is quite boring, you can skip it... Architecture and other exhibitions very nice! Bare in mind, not everything is translated to english.

It is very nice and comfortable culture space. Very good for admiring artworks, very well organized. Staff is extremely nice and polite. You may also go to the yard with a café and a couple of magnificent trees. We visited it for the temporary exhibition of Bruegel family's art, it was organized in the best way.

One of the great provincial museums in the Netherlands. Especially good in introducing and presenting very interesting contemporary artists to a somewhat larger audience. (In this respect the province of Brabant is very well endowed with at least three stellar museums. This one, the Van Abbe museum in Eindhoven and, last but certainly not least, De Pont museum in Tilburg.) Moreover the location of the museum is spectacular: wonderful building situated in what must be one of Europe's best preserved historic City centers.

We were surprised by Van Gogh's for us unknown painting style. Remarkable paintings of the early creation period of the great artist at the time of his life in Netherlands! Very rare paintings! Decorations made from cardboard exposed in the department of contemporary art boggle imagination. Very attractive museum!

I absolutely adored the Dali exhibits! The photo documentation as much or more than his actual works 😅 Also so much the Van Gogh exhibit upstairs, and the Picasso sketches. I am very glad that we went.

A very beautiful and versatile museum in the middle of the old city centre. The collection is nice and for people that aren't that knowledgeble about art, like myself, the different art styles are explained by signs. On the top floor there is an exhibition about the history of Den Bosch, with cool and interactive artifacts. When we visited, there was a temporary photo exhibition about nurses on the IC during COVID, which was impressive to see. Overall, this museum is definitely an educational and culturally enriching activity to visit!

One of the most beautiful museums in the Netherlands and certainly the most beautiful museum in Brabant. Masterpieces by Van Gogh, Breugel, Rubbens. Not just art, but a versatile museum with the history of the region. An extensive audio tour. The museum garden was a bit disappointing, with mainly modern works of art by (to me) strangers. A statue has been made as a tribute to Van Gogh. That's a nice gesture.

Really appreciate the effort curators put into the English write-ups - beautifully written. I can't think of a regional museum that positions itself more smartly than Noordbrabants does through its curatorial execution - the Discover Modernism exhibition was organized in such a logical manner via the effective use of space, while allowing the North Brabrant rendering of different schools and styles to be woven in gracefully. While the museum itself doesn't have a large collection of van Gogh's works on display, the van Gogh show was spinned in such a way that the artist's works and upbringing became a vehicle to showcase rural North Brabrant's way of life in the late 19th century. Overall very intellectually engaging. Thank you!

The museum has a permanent collection that includes Jan Slijters works. It also features art from present day artists with ties to the region. I visited to see Van Gogh and his Intimi. It was wonderfully curated. I used an audio tour in French along with a French language guidebook. I also viewed the work from the Exhibition Kimono’s. The museum is connected to the Design museum and a restaurant is located on the premises. Lockers are provided free of charge. The inner court yard garden has a lawn and large trees.

This museum in the beautiful city of 's-Hertogenbosch is combined with the design museum. The collection is not limited to one art period. Here you can find from classical Roman objects up to contemporary modern art. Definitely worth a visit! Also in the summer period there are a couple of evenings where the museum garden turns into concert venue. So there is an opportunity to visit the museum and watch some live music acts.

Very nice museum with a lot of different types of art. The expositions change a lot, so every time it's a new experience. The staff is friendly and the museum it self is spacious and light. Great place to enjoy art and history.

This museum has little of nothing to do with the rich history of Noord Brabant. Unless you visit it for the paintings, it is a waste of time and money. In the past it had an archeologic collection but that is not on display.

I thought the exhibitions that I saw when I visited were very poorly lit. Way too much glare off the surfaces. Also, the actual arrangement of some of the exhibits was not very well thought out in my opinion

We made a special trip from a brief stay in Brussels to see the Brueghel exhibit. The exhibit was excellent, though I was disappointed that there was only one painting by a female member of the family (the write-up of the exhibit led me to expect more). The permanent exhibits are also of interest, but not what I’d make a special trip for. The Van Gogh in Brabant was a nice exhibit, too.

(Translated by Google) Very nice exhibition with work by Shao Fan. Fan sees the rabbit and the hare in particular as hybrid creatures between humans and animals. In doing so, he ties in with a tradition: the rabbit and the hare are recurring subjects in traditional Chinese art and crafts. In China, there is a tendency not to distinguish between these two legendary animal species. In the Taoist tradition they are associated with immortality and long life. Corona rules are very well observed. Very friendly staff. Heel vriendelijk personeel.
