Wonderful area - really takes you "away" from things and all it took was getting out your bike. Always something special to see. Large bird population, notably geese. Fine skate route too, good tarmac, save for some short stretches.

Its actually quite good looking but I think there are a lot more places with the exact same looks so I dont think this place is much more special. Is just grass with water and a couple animals around. The more interesting things are around it not in it.

Marvelous stretch of wetland close to Schiphol Airport in Amstelveen. Enjoyed walking through it looking at some wildlife eg herons along the way.

A beautiful and scenic countryside, between Amstelveen and Amsterdam. You can reach the place by a car, but there is no parking allowed. For parking, you will have to park around a kilometre ahead. The place is perfect for activities like, walking, jogging, rowing or maybe sitting and watching the Amstel river flow. There are benches to sit near the river bank. Perfect for a day of weekend outing and being close to nature.

A great place to walk , no traffic, no noise...

Amazing place to bike, cool views, sheep's, cows, horses, ducks, a lot of birds,and farms, it feels like you are in some village far from the city. Sometime can smell bad, so be careful if that's a problem for you.

One of the calmest and most beautiful areas in Amstelveen...plenty of walking trails,dog friendly, a variety of wild animals and birds to see while walking

My "retreat" zone, so happy to be able to walk there, in pure nature. Lots of birds nesting in the fields along polders, rabbits. Also an open horse manege to watch passing by and my most beloved raindear house.. thanks for all people who live there that keep the area so serene but also open for public!
