Probably the biggest piece of mis-advertising ever! No nasties… all the nasties you mean! Not only worst airport food but probably the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Overpriced, poor quality and slow service - Jamie Oliver, give me a Turkey Twizzler over this shambles any day!

I was charged 4 euros to add a single piece of toast to my breakfast meal. Extortionate prices for dreadful food. The service was also painfully inefficient. It took them 30+ minutes to serve pre-cooked food to a queue of about 10 people. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating out at.

My experience at Jamie Oliver's Deli in Schiphol airport was far from satisfactory. The muffin and smoothie were just passable, but the lasagna was a complete disappointment. Overpriced and lacking any resemblance to a decent meal, it fell short in taste and quality. I regret not checking the reviews beforehand, as the overall score of 1.6 on Google speaks volumes. In hindsight, opting for a meal at McDonald's next door would have been a preferable choice. It's unfortunate when an establishment with a reputed name fails to deliver even basic satisfaction.

1 star for the deco... Coffee is bad, sandwich is dry n hard. Regretted not checking review before ordering - thinking "jamie" brand is decent enough. MCD next door might be the better choice. 😑😑

Its a bit of a shame eating here, because my satisfaction with the dreaded McDonalds just 20m away is always higher. The food quality at Jamie's is good, although presentation is meh. Price point is good, but there is always a long wait time to pay. If someone orders a coffee with their breakfast (which is everyone in the AM) this adds 3-4 mins to each order. My breakfast roll subsequently took 20 mins to get, not acceptable for an airport. Jamie's deli needs a Barista + barista/cashier duo front of house for timely service. Judging by the overwhelming 1 star reviews it seems alot of people here agree. Also 70c for ketchup... C'mon Jamie!!

For Amsterdam being one of the friendliest vegan cities in the world I was shocked the airport had such limited options. My best choice were these 12 baby potatoes from Jamie’s, who proudly says he’s serving food with love, less stress, and good ingredients. They have a porridge on the menu (it wasn’t avail) but it’s not vegan (it can be it’s so easy to be vegan) their pancakes have eggs and I think dairy in it after conferring with the kitchen (the lady making coffee after I waited in line to ask her made me get in a different line to ask.) they have a stewed tomato and some potatoes for the ONLY plant based option and it isn’t even on the menu you just have to ask. Thank goodness they have a real fresh orange juice. They charged me .70€ for 1 packet of ketchup also, which you absolutely needed as the potatoes were a bit dry. I just felt like with an advertisement Liem Jamie’s being touted as you order with his picture and quote, this place would have been more thoughtful and offered simple easy things that could also be plant based. Even if just the one oatmeal with fruit was my option I would have been thrilled. That’s already on their menu but again it’s not vegan and it wasn’t even available. I thought this place could have done a lot better….

On our way to Istanbul we decided to eat a pizza at Jamie’s Deli. We expected this place to be up to the standards of Jamie’s Oliver. We were so wrong. These Pizza slices were so bad. Wondering if Jamie Oliver ever tasted these slices himself. Next time we will definitely go to the McDonalds. Menekşe & René

Worst experience with airport food ever. Expensive, not tasty, food looks totally different than in photo. Service is rude and slow. There was a long queue and they didn’t work fast at all.

Extortion!!! Shocking prices for such mediorce food. Had a microwaved soggy cheese and tomato croissant with literally 7 tiny potatoes and like 3 sips of OJ for €17. Even charged for ketchup! Hands down the worst part of visiting the Netherlands was ending my trip with a meal here.

Got a full monty sandwich for my breakfast and a bottle of apple juice all which came to under €15 euro. Jamie Oliver’s is meant to be a gourmet food place. I got served absolute dirt , rashers were full of grease and sausages weren’t even chewable 🤢 a McDonald’s breakfast is way nicer and half the price . Don’t waste your money

Last visited: February 2023 Ordered the lasagne. It was nice but adding items such as drinks makes this place rather expensive to actually what you get. Low rating To the honest, most things are expensive at the airport, so I can't really get away from it.

Travel a lot so get to try different airport foods. Let me see, a salad smaller than what I would feed a cat 7.50, a rubber croissant ( one bite was enough) 5.50. Right up there with one of the worst airport foods and value I’ve come across. Surprised a celeb attached his name to this. Tripe.

If I was Jamie Oliver I would not want my name attached to this place, the restaurant itself was filthy, the prices were way over priced for what was served, very poor choice of food, what was advertised on the menu was not available, pizza was dry, not nice, didn't deserve the 1 star I gave it

I highly recommend to AVOID THIS PLACE and rather go to their neighbour McDonalds! The location is very dirty, tables are very messy. Staff extremely unfriendly and not helpfull. We arrived at Jamie's Deli at 3.30pm to grab an early bite as our flight had a delay. More than 50% of the menu was sold out, we tried to combine leftovers together, and were willing to pay for a full menu. However the staff told us rudely "you guys just have arrived too late!! That's why items are sold out!!" and he turned his back to us. The fun part is, the restaurant is 24 hours open. How can you be sold out at 3.30pm when business is up and running like crazy???!!! And then complain to the customer about coming late? What a joke!

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. Let’s remember that we are in an airport so keep it in mind! This is some of the freshest tasting causal food I’ve ever had at an airport. Is it amazing? No, is it delicious? Yes it is. Recommend for a long layover if you want real food (we ate a salad!) and not just to eat a packaged salad. The coffee was really great too!!

Hands down worst service ever. 3 people in front of me. Food already ready. Countless staff. Took almost an hour. They just had to put the food in the box. They got the food order wrong, the coffee wrong, charged the wrong amount. By the time I had paid coffee and food were stone cold. Countless staff just stood around talking. Women repeatedly stopped in the middle of orders and just walked to the back to talk. Around 20 customers joined the queue and left in the time I waited for food. Wish I had done the same

Jamie's places have a certain amount of cosyness and good vibes to them. But the Deli in Schiphol is still just an airport cafeteria. The full English breakfast was not particularly full or delicious. The sausage and bacon were ok, the eggs passable, but the potatoes were downright nasty.

I had a hard time deciding what to order for breakfast, I just knew I wanted to try something from thee Jamie Oliver since I’m a fan. Didn’t want a traditional English breakfast because I had eaten closer to my gate earlier and just happened to stumble across the deli while looking for gift shops. I ended up ordering sausage roll but it was essentially bacon and cheese in bun. It tasted good though and was nice and hot because how can one mess that up? Wasn’t interested in the cold food options since I wanted something hot for breakfast. Overall I wasn’t impressed but would like to try out their lunch items

Baguette with ham and cheese was good. But staff not exactly stressing for getting food done. We did order English breakfast. But ended up with baguettes. Nice view as your sitting above transfer walk

The food is cold before you have paid due to the waiting line. The food itself is nothing special.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is terrible. Tables haven't been cleaned, expensive food. I went to order one of the pasta options but they only had one of the five from the menu available. The rest they had run out of. In the end I ordered a tea which was €4. I was supplied with the hot water and told that the tea bag was available around the corner. I also then discovered the milk which was UHT and smelled disgusting when I opened it. Wish I had checked the reviews before ordering anything, and glad I didn't end up buying any food as the tea on its own was horrible and a waste of money. To add insult to injury, the tag line next the the milk/cutlery area says "All good stuff, no nasties! That's a promise! Jamie's Deli Schiphol". FYI that UHT milk was nasty....

Very expensive for what you get! Our small veggie breakfast was about 10 euros each, and just an espresso is about 4 euro! The coffee was also very burnt and we had to ask for it to be remade. It was still disgusting when they remade it, they need proper coffee training for that price!! Don’t go unless it’s your last option.

A part of the menu was not available and the staff was abnormally rude when I was trying to decide what substitute meal I wanted to order. After a short discussion we left the place and ate somewhere else.

This place gave me terrible food poisoning, alongside rip-off prices and predatory pricing such as €5 water. An absolute disgrace.

Bad and pricey food. I had breakfast at Jamie's. With 16 Euros I had à small veggie breakfast and à granula and yoghurt. The veggie breakfast costed over 10 euros and it was pretty small, the eggs didn't look like freshly cooked and everything was salty and spicy. The granula was good. Thr music was very loud so I ate and took off ASAP.Probably donc on purpose so you leave your seat quickly.never again

STAY AWAY! One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. No flavour, some of the items were missing and the bowl is so small you can't actaully get your knife and fork into it properly to cut up your food.

Food was decent. We were there in the morning so everything was fresh - definitely a healthier option than most airport food with smoothies, juice, sandwiches, etc. But the service was the worst I’ve had in a long time. No one acknowledged us waiting to order food for quite awhile and took the staff over 30 minutes to take our order and literally hand me a sandwich from the case. I feel bad leaving a review like this as it may just be that they’re short-staffed but they should at least acknowledge customers and say someone is coming. If you’re in a hurry do not go here!!! But again the breakfast croissant and iced coffee were good for airport food.

This place was nowhere near as bad as the other reviews. Got 4 meals 3 drinks. $50. It's in the airport so nothing is cheap. We all enjoyed our food and service was okay. Nice view of the airport. I would go Back.

Coffee and the mushroom pasta was a welcome option considering the junk food choices at McDonald's next door... Quite spacious here and a perfect place to sit down and relax if you have some time before boarding.

Extremely annoying experience. Rude service, overpriced fast food. Paid €33 for 2 soggy, tasteless breakfasts that didn’t even come with a single slice of bread. They “accidentally” overcharged me €2 and then screamed at me for complaining.

Luke warm food served without pride. The Bircher muesli option was not on offer, instead there were yoghurts with fruit and a tasteless granola mixture which was crunchy, sugary with neither fruit nor seeds :-( I had the full English. The sausage and bacon both had a decent flavour, but the whole dish was only luke warm. Cooked items kept in dishes with no lids, so they dried out. At €14.95 it was not cheap, even so, if you wanted mustard, that was 65¢ extra. :-( I ordered two 'regular' teas, but they only had 'small' cups. :-( Our table had not been wiped, and no tables were wiped down by staff while we ate. Sad that COVID cleanliness lessons are forgotten so fast. :-( There is no pride taken in running this place, even the 'J' on the 'Jamie Oliver' sign is lop-sided. :-( If Jamie runs this place he should stop, and focus on his cookery books. If it's a franchise, then he should have it run by people who will build his brand rather than damage it.

Going through a lot of airports, service here borderlines I don't give a xxxx! Was trying to order breakfast and staff are just doing their thing, without the slightest acknowledgement to customers, after a good five mins I had to ask if this was the place we order and staff's attitude was hold a moment. I mean I understand if you have work to do but at least smile and acknowledge the customer, maybe they are better off going the way of self service order kiosk.

Good option to work, with outlets at some of the tables! Probably a good option compared to what's available. I liked the tomato cheese croissant and chocolate muffin. The Aubergine Parmesan was ok. Latte did not taste that well. Would rather get it at Joe downstairs. Jogurt with honey was average. Service was good!

Absolute rip off !!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID 😡 Advertised as a sit down restaurant however felt as though I was back at the school canteen. Half the menu wasn’t available, food was slopped into the plate, plates were paper and cutlery was wooden!!! I don’t expect to pay £12 for something that’s been lying there for hours and £4 for a small san pelligrino. Service was appalling too. You’re better off at McDonald’s next door!

😐 Waited quiet a while to get a table as staff were dealing with customer complaint. The guy showing us to a table poured the water left by previous customers over the table to clean it. We waited a long time to get our food delivered to the table. Main courses coming out before appetisers. All three...
