Skipper 5 Pizza e Kebab The "chef" is super rude and extremely unhelpful if you cannot speak Italian. Strange because most of his customers must be foreign tourists. Hope the actual owner reads this review. We came for nice pizza and just got bad attitude served up. No thanks!

Visited on a few evenings for a drink. Didn't stay open until much after 9 but drinks were reasonable the place was pleasant and so we're the staff

The room was really nice, super quiet when the windows were closed and within walking distance to the lake front. I especially loved the ceiling fan that kept the room breezy and cool! The breakfast had something for everyone; don‘t pass up the organic yogurt! But, above all, the sweet ladies behind the bar who so warmly hosted us during our stay and our brief encounter with the owner, Roberto, and his finance the night before we left made our time here most memorable.

Barmen Roberto connecting people very easy and he asked who speak which language and everyone had company When I had know idea what channel shows world Cup he helped to find it in newspaper and I advice to get familiar with all girls working in bar they are really communicable and pleasant

Great location about a 5 minute walk from the lake, public lake access and the ferry to Orta. A supermarket is also 2 minutes down the main street. Stayed in a newly renovated room which was well appointed with everything you'd need for a short or long stay including a mini kitchen with fridge. Large windows help cool the room and shutters block some of the street or bar sounds during the night. The bar downstairs is closed on Thursdays. There is a clock tower close by which chimes every hour, but for those people it might disturb ear plugs are provided. Any noises just add to the vacation mood. Delicious coffee and croissants can be had at both bar skipper and it's sister cafe which is located next to the supermarket.

Obsessed with this place, don’t even consider staying anywhere else! We stayed 4 nights, the rooms are clean and quiet and great value. There’s homemade gelato and aperitifs just downstairs whenever you need them. The lake is 5 mins walk away and amazing for swimming, water is so clear. And the staff here are all lovely. Thanks Roberto for your very kind efforts to make sure we got to Malpensa for our flight :)
