Great place for early morning espresso or cappuccino and baked breakfast items. Simple quick sandwiches with locals having wine around noon. Kind service and good prices with easy friendly vibe.

We bought some delicious wraps for only 6€, everything was fresh, warm, very filling and simply wonderful and the service was amazing. It’s located on the way to villa Monastero, right in the centre. Lovely

Wonderful local coffee shop! Great for early birds as they open at 7am. The server is what makes this place so special! He is equally friendly to tourists and locals. A really lovely man! His good mood is infectious! Lovely pastries. I can recommend the pistachio croissants and a raisin twist. Coffee is great and really hot. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend! A real authentic Italian experience.

The Cornetto and other pastries were so good, as well as the coffee. Really friendly staff and a quiet seating area at the back. Definitely recommend if you're in town for breakfast.

Love the food. Love the espressos. LOVE the staff. Wish there was more/better seating outside but who cares when the pastries are warm and crumbly and the servers are so kind and helpful with English-speakers :) We went every morning we were in Varenna!

Wow. This place makes such a good sandwich. I understand I did not get a typical Italian sandwich, but the turkey was so good. The ciabatta bread is extremely fresh, they are not shy with the salad and tomato they add, and there’s a good amount of mayo to give the sandwich some moisture. They do offer a variety of sandwiches, as well as pastries, focaccia pizza, etc. The ladies inside were kind. There’s seating in the back.

The staff here are so friendly. The sandwiches are spectacular. Seems to be very popular with the locals as well so you know it’s the best place to be. I initially went for lunch but had to come back for a cafe in the morning. Both times the staff have been so amazing. Prices are also very affordable

Perfect place to get your breakfast in Varenna.. The pistachio was delicious, service was great and they have a spacious space at the back for a group. Make sure you come very early as the breakfast menu tend to sold out pretty quickly!

Best coffee bar in Lake Como. Amazing atmosphere and the staff are so so friendly. Pistachio croissant is the best pastry I’ve ever had. Extremely reasonable prices and would highly recommend.

We were happy to find this place as it was the earliest to open in the morning. Cute little convenience store and coffee shop run by a nice couple. They were very helpful with English speakers and the guy sang while he made the coffees. We had croissants, ham and cheese toast and took a turkey panini along with us for a boat ride. Good spot!

Lovely little place if you want to avoid queueing for the tourist bars you hit when you get off the ferry. Cheaper as well and nice view down the cute alleys to the lake from the side seating. Would recommend!

These are the nicest people serving the best coffee. Went there once and had to go again just based on how amazing it was. Love the fact that they dont try to price gouge tourists. The coffee was amazing. Also, you'll see a lot of locals hanging out which is always a good sign

A small, discreet, and buzzing venue. First walking in, you might be confused that you are in the right spot. It looks like a slots casino, tobacco shop, bar. After looking closer, you'll see the espresso machines and menus. Our cappuccino was 10/10. The atmosphere is friendly. The post cards are cute.

So good these paninis were warm crunchy and filled with great quality ingredients grab one and find a nice spot in front of the lake so much better and cheaper than the tourist traps . The staff were so nice as well.

No complains. The place is a mini-market combined with a small cafe, so you can imagine the atmosphere is not great. But, good coffee, good sandwich, nice owner.
