The WORST place EVER!! Dirty and smelly, most of the things in the room were broken (including the bed!!). We had booked a room with toilets but since we arrived 30 minutes later than the check in time (which is at 18:30!!!!), the guy who manages the place gave our room away and left us in a room without toilet! There was a sharing toilet, dirty and smelly, where I also found the same manager peeing!!!! And when we argued with the guy about the terrible conditions, he simply replied that we could have left but anyway he would have kept the all money! That place shouldn't be called "hotel"! I have been in hostels much nicer and cheaper!!! AND the manager is the rudest person that I have never met!!! DON'T GO THERE!! For the same price you can easily find something better!

Ok, this place is not TRUSTWORTHY.the receptionist scanned husband's and kids British passport, and when I asked he mumbled and deleted the photo of his own phone. Also I found a camera on the heater of the room. Do not trust the place..it is very clean but very dodgy. I will attach the photos. By the way the device is meant to be a thermostat, however it comes with a button not a camera and after the guy scanning our British passports and acting weird hence my suspicion. Do not go especially if you have children.

Horrible experience! We do not recommend hotel Vintage Milano. The rooms were very dirty... including old marks of urine in the bathroom. The majority of the windows were broken. A lot of mold and dumpness on the walls. Also, we booked three triple rooms and we received 3 different rooms: a single one, a twin one and a triple one. The staff was very rude about this situation and ask us to leave if we don't agree the situation. Considering the fact that was night when this happened we choose to stay.

They made up a late checkin charge that is not written on the booking site. They don’t include that info on the booking site and let you do late checkin without a warning to purposefully mislead people

Really, don’t look at negative opinions. From one month there is a new owner and the place is excellent. There is clean, service is nice and really helpful. They clean rooms every day And give new towels, what isn’t standard in 1-star hotels. The neighbourhood is really nice, opposite hotel is great restaurant. Thank you for everything! I wanna go back! Greetings from PL crew.

This is not a hotel. It is a scam/hell hole! The site says you can check-in after 7 pm if you call them but it is a lie. We called in advance and they said there would be no-one there. Our flight got delayed and we missed the check-in (7 pm). When we got to the hotel they said they had given our room away even when we had payed beforehand and booked a room for three nights. When we asked for an explanation the man at the "reception" said: " it's all marketing. This is not a nice place if you can't check in late". If we would have wanted to stay at this horrible place we would have needed to pay again the full price. We didn't want to give them any more of our money. And it goes without saying we didn't get anything back. We ended up in hostel which by the sound of these reviews may have been for the best. Would give zero stars if possible.

Best hotel for tourists to get scammed. The owner will kindly provide you with the smallest room for the biggest price. The same owner has his own rules that he creates on the go, so if you book here, be prepared that rules and fees change daily, if not hourly and depend only on the owner’s imagination. Be advised. P.S. the device on a thermostat really looks like a camera, photos are attached. The guy charged us 170€ for a night seeing that we came exhausted with under 9 hours of sleep for the last 3 days. We payed 190€ (+10€ extra for each of two our dogs), and for the next day he wanted us to pay more for the same dogs. The guy just imagines the prices from his head.

One star hotel but I would say "1+" taking into account amicable atmosphere and location. I got one of the best bonuses/price ratio. Highly recommended for short time and/or low budget trip.

SCAM! We did a booking 2 month before and asked if we can arrive after 23:00. The hotel confirmed our request and had requested an additional charge 20 euro, that completely absurd, but ok. When we arrived, even a bit earlier, a guy on the reception (his name is Micho), said that he is only a security here and has nothing to do with the hotel itself. He said that he didn't receive any information that we arrive, so he regretted to give us a room. Our attempt to call the hotel's reception was unsuccessful, because the call was addressed to the same security guy on the reception. I hope the booking website will block them as soon as possible. Also we tried to call a local police, but it didn't make sense, because they were not going to help us. Hopefully the booking website returned us our money. Avoid this!!!

AVOID THIS CRAPPY PLACE. We arrived an hour after check in times (14:00-19:00) which is ridiculous! They make us pay extra 10€ per person Plus the 47€ for the room! The place was old, smelly and dirty. Shower was full of mould and the door was broken ending up with water all over the bathroom. Disgusting toilet, tiles and basically everywhere. We couldn't wait to leave the "hotel". The guy in reception was rude. Our room was next to the reception and very early in the morning the phone was ringing and the recepcionist was talking loudly. I heard few people complaining about the rooms willing to leave the hotel. All of this in 1 night stay. DO NOT MAKE SAME MISTAKE AS I DID!

Staff were super nice and took care of us. However there is a tourist fee of €6 per person, as well as the room we stayed in had a horrible bathroom. Room 109’s shower is cached in mold and it’s nasty. My husband also found blood spots on his pillow so that wasn’t great. Overall good cheap place to stay but they need to clean their showers and get rid of the mold in their bathrooms. It looked like moss it was so thick.

Stayed there overnight, the room was ok. But there was a bit of a strong scent, probably the detergent they used. The reception was very helpful and accommodating with us. Even though we checked in around 7PM on Christmas. The door was thin and we could hear the reception area all the time we were there.

While it was clean and well located, it wasn't really a hotel but a converted apartment. The shower head was broken so the water just poured out one side rather than sprayed, the tray also didn't drain quick enough so it filled with water while showering. The biggest negative point was how noisy the room was, you could hear everything from the reception area clearly, including the buzzer when people arrived during the night.

Very clean rooms, they were recently renovated. Reasonable price. The bad things are thin doors (so you hear talks and music from other rooms) and no keys for the entrance so each time you are back you have to call reception to open the doors.

The rooms were okay… its close to the train station, but i personally wont ever again pay so much for this room, i had other options to for the same price , but my wife wanted to stay close to the train station anyway the only thing what i liked is . The staff were very very friendly and kind! Its the new management so i hope in future they can improve the hotel. Wishing you guys all the best and happy new year .

The reception arabic guy is asked for additional amount otherwise not allowed to check in. Forced to pay extra 48 euros 💶. Worst service not recommended.

This is NOT A HOTEL but A SCAM!!! We had a late train to Milan station and the owner/reception/the dude CONFIRMED that he will ensure the open check-in at our arrival for an extra fee (as agreed ) but instead we came and the guy from the "security" (maybe the owner's buddy) didn't let us in and moreover he said that has nothing to do with the Hotel, even if he was sitting at the reception desk and opened the door and hand over keys to tourists🤬 never ever again...DON'T GET CAUGHT IN THIS TRAP!!

The location is great, just a minute from the Milano Central station. The stuff is friendly and communicative. The hostel wasn't full at the time we came so they gave us a room with a private bathroom even though we booked a room without one (we didn't ask, they offered it). The room was huge and clean. A recommendation from me!

Worst hotel I have ever been. The room was dingy and a noise of water falling on the ceiling didn't let me sleep. When you are out of the hotel you must leave the room keys on a desk where everyone can take them. Prices are very low, but service is worse.

1 star is being generous, horrible service, we almost slept on the street because it would have been even better than staying here. All the good reviews are definitely fake. This place is a scam and a rip off do not stay here!! !

Price seemed good for a night in Milan.. Unfortunately they charge me 20 euros for the check in after 8...the price then went up like an average price in Milan... As soon as I started to ask for some explanations they decided to kick me out... That finally wasn't so bad because I have found another place a couples of meter ahead with a much better price and quality of the place (considering that both the man at the reception and the hall were sooo creepy)... Strongly suggest to avoid...

I book for 3 days and I arrive a bit late no in exactly time for check in.When I was on the way there I resive email that my booking is cancelled I send email that I’m on my way. When I arrive there he told me is your problem where you will sleep in 2 o’clock in morning, he told me if you want to stay you need to pay more 35 euro just cash 😏I book one room with 3 bed when I arrive there they guy from reception he give me one room with double bed also I payed for breakfast but they told me long time we don’t have breakfast. The two of them was very rude.None of the pictures on booking they are true for the room, also I realize that in one day the clean my room 3 times…really no need for 3 times someone to come inside in your room And very important that place is not Hotel, maybe is close to the station but is not worth.Good luck to all of you for next time very bad vibe there.
