I saw my second concert in ages and ages due to the pandemic. The first was at the Carroponte North of Milan and that had full votes. The Theater of the Moon is quite a large theater South of Milan in Assago near the business district Milanofiori. Why only 3 stars? First because of reachability. It's not right that you are forced to usher a car and drive on the motorway, they should organise transportation to and from the city. It would be highly successful. Plus it really was not that easy to find. I placed it on my navigator, Google Maps, aver it brought me to the wrong place. They should watch for things like this. The entrance was a bit of a shambles but a nice young man sorted us out. We were sitting near the front and the audio was just terrible. Guys, if your pay that much more the audio should be better, not much worse. The basses felt like you'd swallowed the drums, and when Loredana Bertè belted out her strong voice, the sound was completely distorted. Not cool. Can be better. Safety was good, they were very careful with COVID passes and masks, and a self-sacrificing martyr day on the streets in front watching us to make sure everything went correctly and spectators behaved well.

The place is nice and our play excellent. Comfy chairs. New structure. Just make sure you get tickets not too far from the stage, because the place is very big and if you are sitting in the last quarter of the hall you end up watching the entire show on large screens. Not exactly what you would expect when you go to theatre.

The seats are not staggered or raked enough, making it difficult to see the stage. I stood in the aisle the whole time just to be able to see the stage. Worst of all, the structure allows outside noises to intrude, which is very distracting (some sort of carnival was being held just outside). Probably the worst concert venue I've ever been to. The seat markings are on the back, and sometimes are missing or mislabeled (really!) making it hard for people to find their seats.

Nice theatre, nice staff. They should probably remove the carpet in the lobby and just have a tile floor. The carpet didn't smell nice.

The Theater is very well maintained, we thought it was brand new. You can buy some snacks before the shows, but I think you can’t eat nor drink anything inside. It is very spacious, I think it can host more than 1000 people. Make sure you arrive with time because I think it is a bit tricky to find the location, plus, you can’t park right next to it, you need like a 10 min walk to reach the place from the parking.

Large theater hosting commercial plays. The slope is a bit bad in the nearest seats.
