We love Aperitivo Et Al; in fact, we love it so much that we came back twice while spending a week in Bellagio. The wine list is deep with Italian heavy hitters as well as lesser known producers—many with real bottle age. The food is also delicious and the menu is quite broad for a self-described wine bar. Finally, the service, what can I say, it’s authentic, warm, hospitable, in a word Italian.

We visited this place in our short 2 days stay in Belagio. We wanted to have an authentic Italian wine experience and this place confirmed this for us. Let me start with the place having a vast variety of wines. The place also has deals of 3 different wine tasting at specific prices, etc. We ordered 2 completely different wines (one sweet and one dry). We asked the waiter for their cheese suggestion and we saw that the waiter didn't hesitate to tell us that they are two completely different wines, and that is why we wanted to have a cheese/salami plattern that could cover our needs for both wines. In the end the waiter brought us the wines/plattern, immediately informing us about the history of the wines and the cheeses, such as age maturity, how long the wine was left in an oat barrel, etc. Overall the place smells of good vibes, amazing food and 2 waiters that know their job perfectly. Overall I would go there with no hesitation 10 more times if I had the time to. Definetely worth visiting, with the place being a very Italian style place within the off-the beaten paths.

Good wine by the glass and cheese board option. Atmosphere was entertaining. The main dishes were a letdown as they lacked flavour and felt a bit precooked.

Visited Aperitivo Et Al two nights in a row! Staff were excellent, knowledgeable & friendly. Vibe was awesome & wine was delicious. Definitely recommend visiting when in Bellagio!!!

Gorgeous spot for a wine!! We got there at 7 and sat at the beautiful outdoor seating, got a delicious wine, some olives and focaccia with meats. Highly recommend going there before your dinner booking!

Excellent. Situated on one of the most picturesque paths in Bellagio & Lake Como for that matter, we did the wine pairing and everything was delicious. Homemade lasagna. You could tell how fresh the noodles were.

Great little wine bar with over 50 wines by the glass. Very friendly staff. Menu was in English and staff were happy to speak English. I had a flight of Lombardy white wines and my spouse had a flight of Tuscan reds. They included some complimentary snacks (nothing to write home about but a nice thought. They were crouton-type things, bruschetta with cream cheese, and small sandwiches). The free wifi was appreciated because the signal we were getting in Bellagio was poor. You can also buy wines by the bottle and they’ll ship internationally.

I had my best meal in italy so far here! The sliced beef and buckwheat pasta with potato, cheese and cabbage. The staff are really passionate about the wine, and very friendly, and happy to recommend paired wines. Such a cool little venue, tucked off the cobblestone walkways. They also offer a few set menus with matched wines which looked great.

A lovely late afternoon small meal and sampling the local wines. Both wines very good and the service and knowledge was great for us wine novices. Huge selection available and will return next time visiting

We did two tastings here and enjoyed both. This was our first wine tasting in Italy and we learned a lot from the knowledgeable staff. It’s a great place to beat the heat in the summer!

Second time here for pre drink’s, first time was May 2017…. We’d want to return to lake como for some time, We’d done a ferry trip to Varenna & wanted to relax with a nice glass of vino/ or 2… As before great knowledgeable staff, good wine selection, reasonable priced… Highly recommended….
