!!! Don't book, please!!! Very bad, Run away! Our flight was delayed, we came late and the reservation was canceled and they didn't even let us know. We have found out after arriving at the hotel. They kept our money and left us on the street !!! That man (called owner of the hotel) was very arrogant.

I don't understand why people are giving such bad reviews here. Receptionists are very caring. (There was a dark gentleman during the day, a very nice person.) They help us with everything. Rooms were also very clean. Right next to the metro station, close to everywhere. There is a very nice restaurant just below. His name is Mevlana. The market is opposite. Each floor has a shared bathroom and toilet. A unique place for Milan. You won't find such a nice place for this price. You would expect a hostel of this quality to be much more expensive, but very cheap. A real price-performance hostel.

It was an okay hotel and an okay stay. :) My room was clean, sadly the bathroom was slightly smelly. It was not so much of a big deal for a couple of days, the rooms are nothing special, but the linen seemed fresh, there were clean towels, it can get a bit noisy in the hallways though. Overall, solid hotel, if not shiny and new, but for little money. Big plus is, there is a very good and comparably cheap restaurant on the other side of the street. The receptionist was nice and helpful, very attentive guy. A hall with the option of booking breakfast would be nice, it's very small, overall not amazing, but reasonably good for a short stay.

TOOK OUR MONEY AND REFUSED TO GIVE US THE ROOM. In over 30 countries staying in budget hotels and hostels, we have never received such disgusting customer service. We were arriving at 7am from an overnight bus, so paid for 4 nights including the previous night and contacted them twice to notify them of our expected arrival time. The room was booked and paid for 1 month in advance and they were notified then of our 7am arrival. They advertise having 24 hour reception so shouldn’t be an issue (have done this numerous times elsewhere with no problems). When we arrived in the morning we were initially locked out of the building for some time, until some other guests left and we could enter reception. The staff member then said we had been marked as a “no show” and our booking was cancelled without a refund, leaving us €153 out of pocket. We had clearly communicated our arrival time, paid for the additional night preceding AND they’re supposed to have a 24 hour front desk, so how could we not receive the room we paid for? The staff member was incoherent, dazed and told us it was “not his problem” and that he wanted to go back to sleep. Wow. Thankfully booking.com, who we made the reservation through, had excellent customer service and contacted us within hours to say the hotel had still refused to refund our room, but they would refund it in full through the booking.com website. Awful experience, do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel at all costs. Terrible communication and no regard for their guests.

Due to my plane being late I have arrived to the hotel around 23:00. After landing I called the hotel in advance and WAS ASKED TO come to the hotel. After arriving to the hotel I was told that the “system is closed” and they cannot give me the keys to the room I have already paid for and which currently is empty. The “owner” refused to talk to me directly over the phone according to the receptionist. I was forced to find another hotel which was very expensive considering renting it with no advance. Never would I ever recommend this experience to anyone.

Yes it did fulfill my expectations. The location is central, walking distance to main square of Genova. The room was clean, bed and bathroom new and functional. Hot water 👍 Totally very good for the price.

When I saw tones of negative reviewsI I was terrified to stay in the hotel. Yet, it appeared to be very clean every day, polite and hospitable receptionists, beds are very fine, 2 minutes from the metro! All that one needs, if they wish to spend days in the city and crash in a hotel at nights. Of course it is all old and poor, but this is what you expect from 1-star hotel. Generally, exceeded all expectations!

It's quite obvious you dont get very much for low price, but that shouldnt affect hygiene standard. While bathroom is lovely, the rooms and hotel in itself are filthy. Wouldnt say that staff is unpleasant as others said, but unhelpful indeed.

Kind and helpful staff. But... Price not relevant to quality of rooms or shared(!) bathrooms. It's located next to metro line 3 and it's the only good thing about that "hotel". If you happened to be a guest there and you wish to run away for a while from an old cigarette smoke that is also a part of your room's atmosphere, I can strongly recommend checking out the Demus Pizzeria!

Really bad. The receptionist was not very friendly, the hallways was dirty, and the room looked like it was only half finished

There is only one bathroom for around 6 rooms. The room was smelling from cigarette. Otherwise every day the cleaning lady tighted up our room, the staff was kind and helpful.

I was refused check-in for a prepaid booking after arriving at 9pm with no explanation other than "check-in is closed." The person sitting at the front desk was unfriendly and unaccommodating and I was left to find a new hotel late at night in the rain in what turned out to be quite a sketchy area. Even now the hotel continues to refuse to refund me for a room that I did not stay in. I have stayed in budget accommodations often, but this was far worse than anything I had previously encountered. If you are unsure of your check-in time, go elsewhere.

For me everything is fine ;) nice room, very good localization - metro no 3 is next to hotel, so you can get to Duomo in about 10 minutes. Very friendly and helpful staff!! Good restaurant and bar next to the hotel, And of course good price! *hotel is in renovation so I think its gonna be better in future ;)

Scammer hotel. We've booked and told them that we're coming late. When we came in the hotel the reception refused to give us the key, they said that we were late and didn't showed up that they cancelled our booking. We've spent our night in the car in the street because it was 2:30am all hotels are fully booked. We came back the next day to asked for a refund but they refused. It was a total horrible experienced.

I seen a review saying “it is slightly better than sleeping on a bridge”, and I AGREE. Me and my friends have stayed overnight at an airport and was a terrible experience but this hotel is only slightly better than that. This hotel(it’s actually an hostel, not a hotel) is not what it’s like on the website at all. Shared bathroom is not clean(yes, we still can use it but I wouldnt stay there more than 5min) Also Wi-Fi is so super slow and doesn’t even work. This whole accommodation is the absolute joke.

We needed to pay the double of the original price. The landlord was mot friendly and helpfull. The room was very tiny for 4 people. It stank and there was molt on the walls. There was no warm water and there is a lot of noise in the hallway. It’s really a no-go for Milano.
