Get a bang for your buck at La Corneta Taqueria. They have the best burritos in Burlingame. The portions are generous and the food is freshly prepared. La Corneta uses twelve different house brines, spices, rubs, roasted and grilled meats. There is also a modest selection of wine, sangria, Mexican beers and margaritas. This could be a great lunch or dinner date spot. I would recommend enjoying the outdoor seating, since it gets loud inside of the taqueria. Delicious Mexican food, delivered fast and fresh. We order this via doordash pretty regularly but also eat in when we're around. This place isn't as typical of a sit down dinner place, because they don't have many waiters but was a good time nonetheless.

Ordered chicken dinner plate, chicken nachos and Alfajores. Chicken was raw, beans and rice were cold. Nachos were were 50% lettuce and beans. Didn't have much chicken at all. The Alfajores were the worst I have ever eaten. There was so little carmel it tasted like chalk. Never go there.

We tried it on a late lunch a Tuesday. We loved the staff. They were so helpful and nice. We tried the quesadillas and the super borito. Both with good qualities and big portions. The price is so reasonable. Our lunch got ready so fast as well.

Great prices and a large burrito. Fajita veggies are great, burritos are a bit dry so get salsa if you like it that way! Chips are crispy and fresh, and the pico is great too. Well-decorated dining spaces and burritos were made quickly.

This is the taqueria I've been looking for! Great atmosphere, tasty food, excellent service and a full bar 🍹 just in case you are thirsty. Ordered a quesabirria (deep fried hard taco shell filled with marinated beef stew and melted cheese) and a grilled chicken taco with cheese. It tasted like it was supposed to taste and then some. The portions were ample...was full when done. Was so tasty couldn't stop sucking my teeth afterwards in hope of getting a bit of leftover flavor. Yes Yes YES HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5 ⭐️ Btw, at a total of $14.03 (included a can of Coke) the price felt very fair.

Food tasted great. They had a big group we’re celebrating a baptism. The staff was really friendly and the margaritas were really good. Enjoyed our time at this restaurant with all our family.

Great place in Burlingame downtown. The sitting arrangement is well designed with the Bar and Kitchen nicely spaced. Good staff and very friendly. Unfortunately the food was very bland this may have been the result of a very busy kitchen area and barriers. We asked for spicy as food level but all dishes came with no spicy salsa. Will try again soon to review and update.

Myself and my husband were looking for a place with good Mexican food and a sports bar all in one. Omg. I googled and came upon this restaurant and we were so amazed. The food was something to brag about. The flavors, the portion sizes and the atmosphere was great. Not too pricey either. Long story short, we came home and got in the bed to watch the game. Soooooooo satisfied!

Normally I rate La Corneta a 5/5. I enjoy getting a super burrito, wet burritos, or birrea tacos. It’s my favorite place to go to for a quick bite. This time I went though I ordered a burrito and it was not portioned very well. Mostly rice, barely any salsa (when I ordered extra), or other stuff. And had a gross chunk of avocado at the bottom. Had to throw the bottom half away… kind of disappointed haven’t had the best luck on burrito’s the last few times…

Love this place! Good Mexican food, you get great portions of delicious food with the combo plates. We enjoyed the combo that comes with chicken, steak, rice and your choice of beans (fried, pinto or black). You also get a choice of flour or corn tortillas. Customer service is great!

One of the best Taquerias I have ever been to. I had Super Nachos. Nachos were fully fried and crispy; fresh pico de galo and flavorful salsa. Their mild salsa is actually mild. They also have a spicy salsa if folks prefer spicy. Note to future self: ask for less cheese in Super.

Good feed. Prawn and steak burrito nice. Excellent service with a few difficult requests from a friend, quick service and happy to accommodate, good outdoor dining option, close to airport for a quick feed if you have a layover.

This has been a staple of my Mexican food diet in Burlingame. I ate here over a hundred times easily, and will continue to do so. Very effective and fast paced if there is no massive line of customers.

Not the best tasting food. Been here twice now. Chicken/carnitas enchiladas plate first time. Meh. Super burrito the second. Meh. The food does not pack the punch you are looking for if you are craving Mexican. The food is on the healthier side. but somehow salty and bland at the same time. Left unsatisfied both times.

Busy Mexican restaurant on Burlingame Ave. Both take out and on site dining available. Outdoor or indoor dining okay now! I had a salmon tostada (super type means added sour cream, guac & shredded lettuce). It was okay not outstanding. Their tacos also which I had before are okay too. Crowded at times. The staff seem swamped. Takes a long time to pay the bill at the cashier! Why? Don’t know... Food is 3 stars Location 4 stars Service 3 stars

This is by far my favorite taqueria on SF Peninsula. The ingredients are always fresh, meals are well seasoned and authentic. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is due to food prep consistency. I don't know if they have a high turnover of folks but after COVID reopening they can't maintain a high level of control over the food
