Stayed there multiple times when visiting the area, and I've always had a great time. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, making for a comfortable stay. One of the best things about the hotel is that it's always quiet. I hardly ever notice any noise or other guests, which is perfect when you need a good night's sleep. During one of our stays, there was a bit of a problem with the showers, but it turned out to be an issue with their main generators. They managed to get it fixed pretty quickly, so no major complaints there. Tried room service once, and while the food was good, it was a bit slow to arrive. But well, it wasn't a deal-breaker for me. Overall, we have had a great experience at the Future Inn Hotel, and are planning to stay there again next year. If you're visiting Plymouth and looking for a place to stay, I'd definitely recommend the Future Inn Hotel. The rooms are comfy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be back next year!

This is a great place to stay, the rooms are nice, with plenty of room, and have all you need. The breakfast is self service, and all you could eat. The staff are very helpful, and very polite.

The lobby, ample space, the rooms are spacious, and great value for money. It doesn't feel overly crowded, even with a constant flow of check-ins and check-outs. Parking is free. Will stay again.

I have delivered dozens of courses at this venue, during which I have seen kind support from all staff. Couple this with spacious and smart conference suites, high standards of cleanliness, easy access and large free car park. It was no surprise that I booked a family birthday bash here. This was a complete success, food was excellent and generous, bar was well run. My personal thanks to all staff especially Ellie for making the arrangements and Elaine for looking after us so well. A dead easy 5 star review. Well deserved.

This hotel is the right place to go to because You can get into Plymouth City, where all things to do .There is free parking, which is a big car park, but you must put your registration at the restaurant or reception . The rooms are very good .for January, the room was too hot, so we turned it off, and the room was still warm, which is good. All staff are very friendly and helpful in all areas. If needed, go out food. It's just over the road . The restaurant is large, but it takes a long time to get your from when order to when it gets to the table , but it's worth it.

I had a great stay at Future Inn Plymouth. It was the first time I used this hotel chain. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and facilities available at the price. A standard double room was spacious, nice and comfortable, TV, iron, ice bucket (ice available from bar), toiletries. A good nights sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cardio/gym room available. Breakfast was good but could have had more variety in the non cooked section. No queues for breakfast. Restaurant was packed for dinner. Would stay again. Get the same value as other hotels that are twice the price. £80/night.

Enquired to host a private event and whilst initial response was received to say first choice date was not available. No one has replied since with regards to my second choice date despite chasing up.. Such a shame as we had our wedding reception here 12 years ago and it was lovely and the service fantastic.

Good value for the money spent. Very friendly staff, free parking and large rooms. No issues with the hot water or heating. Only downsides were the pillows and the mattress. Please replace them as they offer no support.

The hotel has large open spaces in the lobby, corridors and the rooms are huge. The hotel was clean everywhere, the beds are little hard and the style is little dated now but it’s only cosmetic as it was really clean, we had no issues and would use it again. Location is out of the city centre takes around 10-15mins to get in city centre. There are shops and take aways local to the hotel. All the staff where helpful and nice we interacted with.

Booked this place primarily because of proximity to hospital, and it had accessible rooms and free parking outside. There had been a problem about the price quoted by phone, and while no-one at reception was able to sort it out at the time, it was subsequently dealt with excellently by the Duty Manager, Sarah, via email. The hotel provides good in-room facilities including biscuits and bottled water plus robes and slippers in addition to all the standard stuff. Our evening meal was excellent, breakfast OK, possibly better if we had been earlier. There is a pleasant outside area with tables and chairs and for smoking. Will definitely hope to return for next hospital visit.

Hotel was fab. We did ask to move rooms due to being next to the air con unit which was quite loud and we were travelling with a baby. However, staff moved us without any issue and were really nice about it. Both rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Fab price for what we needed. Breakfast was good, everything was tasty. Would recommend.

Nice hotel with large rooms that can fit 4 adults. The breakfast tasted great (one of the better hotel breakfasts that I've had) and the staff were great too. Very friendly and nice, particularly the man that checked us in (didn't get his name) on Friday 26th at about 11pm I think, and the younger female cleaner doing the rooms by us on our floor (we were room 110 if I remember correctly). Would definitely stay again!

I came here not to stay, as i live nearby, but to give them my blood for a blood test. online it said that the hotel isn’t busy. But after i parked my large vehicle in the almost full car parking lot and traveled to the entrance, there was about 50 people there! The staff members recommended a waiting time of 40 minutes! I rudely said no and made my way back home! Terrible service! Sincerely, Sharon Garcia

Went for blood test there. Receptionist pointed me straight away to right place, and bloods were taken almost immediately without any issues. Staff was caring, and helpful. Very professional, and understanding. Took bloods from me in no time. Reassured me, and had very good recliner chair as I’m sometime pass out from needles. Very professional setup, and effective team ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel has a private area for Blood test. Phlebotomy staff lovely but it can get very busy here. The hotel looks nice toilets and area for test always clean and fresh.

The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation, the rooms are very shabby and dated. The beds are awful, even though I was moved to a room with a new mattress. For the same money you can stay at the premier inn and the beds there are always lovely. The staff were polite and trying their best but wasn’t enough of them. At dinner, service was very slow and my food was overcooked.

Lovely hotel, room was spacious and clean. I found rooms slightly too warm and bed a bit bouncy, but that's me.

Bed bugs!! Stayed here back in October and woke up covered in bed bug bites all over my body and face. Photo attached is of a bed bug I found in the hotel room bed! Flagged the issue with the hotel and all they said was we’ll investigate, hope you’ll stay with us again. I’ve not heard anything since and clearly I won’t be staying again!!

Great stay! Room was a good size and spotlessly clean. Lots of little extras In the room are a nice touch, chocolate, biscuits, bottles of water. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money with the free parking and breakfast!!

What can I say apart from I enjoyed my say. Arrived at the spacious, free carpark. Before I go any further, I think my favourite words to describe this hotel would be spacious. From the reception to the lift lobbies, but more importantly the bedroom. Well presented with lovely soft whit dressing gown and slippers laid out on the foot of the bed. Nice array of welcomeing snacks, bottled water as well as the usual tea an coffee. Loved the bed! Had the most comfortable nights sleep I've had in a hotel in very long time and that is saying somthing as I stay in a lot of hotels with work. Also no noise, though I had the hotel to myself at one point. Probably the only thing that I was not too happy with was the shower curtain idea. Not a fan of plastic on me when having a shower. I only mention this as positive feedback and no more. Breakfast was also good, with plenty of choice and large portions. Personal though, I could have done with a little more of the continental style salad choices. Dinner, well definitely the best fish and chips again in a long time. Definitely try what seemed like a homemade tartar sauce, had to ask for seconds. Had this two nights in a row. From what I could see the other dinners were ordering, more nights stay would be needed to try them out. One last thing. So many hotels are still hiding behind the Covid screen. Either not cleaning a room, or only doing so on request. So pleasant to get back to a freshly made up room and clean towels every day. All in all, a most enjoyable stay, thanks guys.

Very polite receptionist, good lifts to all floors. The beds are a good size and I found them very comfortable. Excellent bathroom with power shower 🚿 inside a bath. The usual kettle, hairdryer, ironing board and iron. Plenty of wall sockets and good free WiFi. This may not be the cheapest option in this area but I think that it is good value for money. Great parking with disable parking provided. The breakfast is well worth having, Well spaced apart tables and a option of Continental breakfast or Full English, buffet style, fruit juice and cereals supplied. There is lunch and dinner available to book separately. If this is the standard of all there hotels in the Future Inn chain, I will definitely use them again.

Nice modern hotel towards the outskirts of Plymouth. Very pleasant staff. The room is spacious and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Attached is a nice restaurant. Breakfast was very good with everything you could hope for. Evening meals were equally good, although the drinks prices were high. In all very good.

Hotel staff where very polite and friendly. Hotel room was extremely clean and came with bath robes and slippers which was a nice touch! Room was lovely and very spacious with great storage spaces and amenities. We will definitely be visiting again, just outside of the city centre with buses every 10mins, and a retail park across the road. Couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Stayed here for one night over the bank holiday weekend, huge parking area with good facilities. Clean rooms, clean bathroom and great seating area in the lobby. Busy breakfast time you need to go early to sit, eat and relax. Breakfast can be managed in a better way.

I don't know why it is a 3 star hotel. I felt it should be at least 4 star. Must visit again and would recommend anyone. Nice and professional service. Lots of parking space. Very spacious rooms.

Clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Evenings meal nice. Breakfast OK but very expensive at £14 though was as much as you wanted, but Toby Inn had same offer for£5.49. When you have fussy teenagersyou need value for money. The 6 year old was free

I only popped in here to use one of the conference rooms for a couple of hours so can't say much about the rest of the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful in finding where to go. As the hotel is located right near the main road it has great connections. There are multiple fast food options within walking distance. I doubt I will ever need to stay here but it looked nice enough from what I saw.

We stayed here in March. Lovely hotel. Room was immaculate and plenty of tea and coffee. Easy to control the heat and air conditioning. We even had a bath robe and slippers. I had emailed the hotel before our stay asking if we could check in early and they did their very best to accommodate us. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Our only grip was with the restaurant that was attached to the hotel. The staff member we encountered was rude, never acknowledged us while she was on the phone, no eye contact. Showed us to a table but didn't even bother to talk to us or tell us what the specials were. Needless to say we left. This did not reflect on our stay as we loved the hotel.

The rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable. They look to have been refurbished recently. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The evening food is somewhat on the expensive side and is notorious for slow delivery. However, it is pleasant.

The Future Inn in Plymouth has spacious rooms and plenty of parking. They could use with a little bit of updating, as it's *just* starting to show its age, but addressing it now will be easier than down the line. One note about the attached Fishbone restaurant: the food there is quite good, but after several years, they still haven't managed to hire enough staff. This means the wait times are abysmal. Twenty or so minutes for your order to be taken, followed by another thirty minutes or so before the food is delivered.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed here for 2 night's as moved to the area and our house wasn't ready. Had a suite which was amazing value for money, comfy beds and a great shower. Close to McDonald's if you don't want breakfast at the hotel. Food is great in the restaurant though if you did want to stay.

  • 3/5 Will P. 1 year ago on Google
Rooms were spacious and well equipped, especially considering the price. Service was quite slow at the restaurant for dinner, but there was only one person serving quite a few tables at the time. Menu was pretty basic for dinner. Breakfast was £12 extra, but was a great selection of cereal, continental style and cooked. Overall, would stay again if I was I the area, as the price was really quite cheap.

We arrived early and unable to book in,. They stored our bags and we went for lunch. The staff were great, especially the waitress in the restaurant. She was wonderful. The staff accommodating as we decided to bring a meal in, and they provided plates and cutlery. Will certainty use Future Inns again Thank you

  • 3/5 Gerry M. 1 year ago on Google
They could do with doing away with the slippers and dressing gowns in the rooms and give guest better choice of pillows in the room and bigger towels in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok just could do with having a plate warmer for the plates. It was reasonably priced. The food of an evening was alright just could do with more of a choice on the menu. The seats in the bar area are not that comfy if you wanted to just sit and chill with a drink. One positive was when we arrived at 1200 we were informed that our room was ready and we were allowed to check early
