We truly enjoyed our visit to Addy Sea! The accommodations were excellent, the renovations that have been done since last year are a significant upgrade in the rooms. The service was outstanding as always, with people ready to assist and make your stay the best it can be! The food at breakfast and lunch was delicious, and a great amenity that creates much value for price paid. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great vacation getaway!

Relaxing weekend stay at the fabulous establishment! The property is beautiful, and has every amenity that you could want, but the best feature is that every member of staff that we interacted with were kind, helpful, patient and generous. It feels like the staff truly enjoy working there, and truly enjoy making their guests feel like they are the most important people there. The food served from their kitchen is gourmet and restaurant quality. The facility is very clean, well maintained, modern and yet elegant in a timeless “high-end bed and breakfast” sort of way. Loved the Friday evening happy hour with live music! Thank you to the ownership and the entire staff of the Addy Sea for making our stay memorable (again!) - we will be returning!!

Every person I interacted with at the Addy Sea (Andrea, Kate, Cindy, too many to name ...) treated me like I was the only guest there. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was fabulous. I've been coming to the Addy Sea for over 20 years, and they impress me more each time. They keep improving with upgrades and amenities like beach umbrellas and bikes, in addition to chairs and towels. The food keeps getting better, too! Being able to walk right out onto the beach can't be beat. I always book next year's stay before I leave because it is a guaranteed peaceful vacation.

Addy Sea went beyond my expectations. My experience was the best I’ve had an Inn in the US. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The property is well managed. I can’t wait to return to this little piece of Paradise . They truly are a genuinely welcoming staff. The front porch is inviting, the beach is a few steps away, and morning sunrises are a great way to start your day at Addy Sea.

The Addy Sea is a terrific B&B-style hotel. The service is 6 stars. Friendly staff eager to please. The room was clean and comfortable. No TV, but who needs that anyway? The morning breakfast on the porch was wonderful. Lunch is also included. Great location within walking distance of some great local restaurants, and it's right on the beach. Happy Hour on Friday was really nice. We enjoyed wine and sangria while listening to a singer playing relaxing tunes on her acoustic guitar. We did a day trip to Assateauge Island for lunch on the beach, nature hikes, and seeing wild horses. You get your own private parking space, which was great since there is limited parking in the area. They also have beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels, so you can travel light. We took the ferry over from Cape May. Had a great time and will definitely come back again.

On-the-beach location can't be beat. Everyone is very friendly and the service is wonderful. Our room was great and the breakfasts are ample and delicious. They'll even make you a takeout lunch for the beach -- also delicious. Twice weekly complimentary happy hour with music. These extra amenities and the warm welcome make it a place for return visits. . . . Almost forgot to mention the afternoon teatime treats! Chocolate peanut butter brownies are so, so good! (They all were excellent.) And we really appreciated the complimentary beach umbrella. It's just a lovely place that treats you really well, anticipates your needs and meets them before you even need to ask.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days at Addy Sea. Our room this time was pretty small, but others are just right. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks are all wonderful. Location on the beach is great - the walk over the dunes is a bit challenging. Love that they gave us towels, chairs and umbrellas. Staff is unfailingly nice and accommodating. I needed ice packs several times a day and they were so nice about taking care of that for me

My wife and I have been going annually to the Addy Sea for five years. Kind, polite, and considerate staff paired with a first-rate bed and breakfast experience makes for the perfect getaway. The chef is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the inn has history and charm. No kids. It’s a romantic spot. Just park your car and walk into Bethany. Excellent location.

Outstanding service. Andrew and Jonathan were extremely kind and helpful. Claudia, who helped with breakfast, was also amazing, kind, and friendly. Room #10 was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing view. All the other guests agreed with me that there is something very special about The Addy Sea. Picturesque both inside and out. Also, the food was incredible. Breakfast was delicious, afternoon tea included sweets that were so very good, and even the lunch I took on a beach picnic was scrumptious. I used the complimentary bicycles to see the town, slept on a very comfortable mattress, and absolutely loved the updated bathroom. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Addy Sea. The quietness and relaxation was just what we needed. A new addition was a cocktail hour with great music by Cathy Jane! I hope that they keep up this tradition. We drank lots of hot tea and enjoyed our beautiful ocean view from our room. The staff is wonderful and great to talk to. Not to mention a gourmet breakfast each morning! We were pampered and treated. Reservations were made for the same time next year.

Hi. My wife and I stayed at the Addy Sea (Room 4) from Friday, 15 December - Sunday, 17 December. We enjoyed the ambience and the peacefulness of the Inn, as well as the attentiveness and thoughtfulness of the staff during our visit. We also enjoyed conversations with guests (and staff) in the well adorned and seasonally decorated living room. The active fire in the room's fireplace added to the mood. Our walk into "town" and our exploration of shops and activities there was delightful, as the usual hordes of visitors were nowhere to be found at this time of year. Two items I will note which Inn staff may want to address in the future: (1) The security system, especially the room door locks but also accessing the entrance to the Addy Sea after hours, is unnecessarily complicated and seems a bit over the top. Why not just provide a key to the guests for their room; and a separate key for the front door? (2) Single ply bath tissue is chinchy. Is 2-ply toilet paper really that expensive to purchase? We are looking forward to our next visit to the Addy Sea. Happy Holidays to all!

My Wife and I have been going to the Addy Sea every December for 7 years! We have grown from dating, to marriage, and now to parents all while keeping this tradition alive. As we have grown, so has the Addy Sea. It has been awesome watching the Addy Sea evolve over the years; It keeps getting better and better. The staff is absolutely amazing and very attentive when needed. The food is great, the views are great. Definitely recommend it!

I had such a great time staying at Addy Sea. It's a beautiful, historic home that sits right on the beach. All the people who work there are wonderful as are their clientele. They strive to create a sense of community through their warmth and such events as happy hours and tea time. Of course, you can choose to mingle or not but I loved meeting other guests, several of whom were repeat clients. The house is gorgeous as are the rooms. I booked a little late and so didn't get to choose my room--it was a little dark but otherwise perfectly fine. I peeked into a couple of other rooms, which looked stunning. There's a lovely patio that faces the sea where you can sit and read. I also really appreciated that the management made available beach chairs and umbrellas. I spent one whole day doing nothing but hanging on the idyllic beach. It was sooo peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend Addy Sea and hope I get to stay there again for a longer stretch.

Our 3rd time staying at the Addy Sea Historic Inn and it just keeps getting better. Originally, as a weekend get away, we stayed in two of the main home rooms, each with its attention to detail and character of its own, This time, we selected the adjacent building (16) with its own entrance and private porch. This proved to be equally rewarding and gave us a new appreciation for the Inn. The common area top floor was a great spot to enjoy the view of the beach. In the morning, breakfast is served both inside and outside (weather permitting) and was very delicious, the chefs presentation was spot on. The Inn keepers, kept the place very clean and not needing any obvious maintenance. Thank you both Andrew and Mark for seeing that the grounds and happy hour made our stay just as nice as it could be. Looking forward to many more visits to the Inn.

My husband and I have visited the Addy Sea several times before, and it is with great anticipation that we return. As always, this trip was just wonderful, we hated to go home! The inn is beautifully decorated for Christmas right now, the new chef, Justin, has the breakfasts down to perfection, and all employees that we had interaction with were so helpful and kind. This includes Cinde, Andrea, and Jonathan at the front welcome desk, and Claudia, and Braden in the dining room. If we could go once a month, we would!

We enjoyed our stay immensely! We stayed in the Guest House and the room was spacious and airy. The great room was gorgeous--beautiful view of the ocean, cozy and comfortable furniture, and we spent a lot of time sitting on the deck , sipping coffee and gazing out at the ocean. We literally wanted for nothing - excellent breakfast and afternoon tea, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels all included. We used the bikes (which are in excellent condition) for easy rides around the town. I really can't say enough--it's impeccably clean, so well located --steps the the beach--and very charming. Thank you for a truly memorable getaway!
