I had an appointment scheduled here and less than a week before my scheduled appointment (realize I was anticipating this appointment for almost a month) I get an e-mail and the Rein Center tells me that my appointment has been cancelled because of a "conflict of interest". I called the Rein Center and asked what that "conflict of interest" was and their return was that "the therapist that I was scheduled with did not deal with suicide ideation". There are several things that I find problematic with that statement. The obvious is that they turned away a potentially suicidal patient! But I am not suicidal; their intake questionnaire asks about suicide ideation, which I took at face value as: "have you ever had suicidal thoughts?". The answer was yes. So, then I was automatically turned away because of that. Seriously? I am not naming the exact provider because I understand that this provider was likely overwhelmed because they were the only therapist seeing patients in person at the time...even though this was well after the end of the mask mandate. But why did you decide to turn me away and essentially blame me for it? You told me that my suicide ideation...my mental illness...was a conflict with your profession, even though your profession is supposed to help people like me? Thing is, I never intended or wanted to be a Karen about this and I had largely forgotten that this happened, but then the Rein Center e-mailed me...and keeps e-mailing me telling me to register at their new website...even though I was never a patient there! I've asked it to stop, but I keep getting e-mails from them. Do better. Be better.That's all I ask.

The healthcare professionals here are personable, thoughtful, reliable, and kind. They listen wholeheartedly and offer advice to the best of their ability. I have tried many therapists and psychiatrists in the past, but my psychologist and psychiatrist at the Rein Center beat them all out due to their unfailing kindness, knowledge, and willingness to help. Would highly recommend!

Dr. McCormick is one of the best Psychiatrist in the area! She’s very caring and understanding!! She is very knowledgeable and I have total confidence in her and it has been life changing for me! Highly recommended!! Dr Rein is also one of the best psychologist I’ve also seen! EMDR has also been life changing for me! A wonderful caring practice that I’m so glad I found!!

Since then , I have many practical tools to begin learning how to manage my brain , which I appreciate . But , beyond this , appreciate her genuine personality. I am tired of mental health professionals sugar coating my life experiences when we both know my mental health is bad in general, especially with everything in my current life now. I am also tired of being tossed medication with little to no thought to my long term coping strategies . Kara hasn’t done this . I definitely recommend her . She’s also funny - We love a professional who can make us giggle.

The care that I have received has been very individualized and effective. The Care Providers have made me feel like a priority. They have always been well prepared appointments.

I have been working with the Rein Center for mental health care for the past 3-4 years and have NEVER been disappointed with their services. They are very helpful and the doctors are all extremely qualified, and will do whatever they can to help you. Dr. McCormick in particular has changed my life in the most positive way, and overall I would recommend any of these great specialists for someone seeking high quality mental health care.

Dr. Whalen is amazing, really a 5 star provider. The office support situation is a mess, though. You can't directly reach a live person, and it takes several days to get a call back for appointment scheduling.

Doctor kara whale well she's been a godsend. She has help me tremendously. The officer it a calming place, The staff always friendly. I have been to many doctors over the years, The Rein Center is like see a friend not a stuffy office. I recommend this office to anyone needing help.
