I have ordered from here numerous times. The food here is delicious. I have tried all the Burgers and I can say that they are made very well. I always get them to put in extra Sauce in the burgers, as I enjoy the extra flavour. The chicken is grilled very nicely, and they always cater to my bespoke requests. Hometown is a great addition for a restaurant that has the potential to become the best in Bedford and Kempston. The customer service there is very polite and friendly.

We've been ordering from Hometown for about a year now, and they're absolutely magic. The food is clearly cooked with care and attention every time. I usually order the 1/2 fire chicken, witch can give Nandos a run for it's money 7 days out of 7. I also once ordered a hot chicken wrap from them, thinking it would only be of small size, and it was so large and so well-loaded, it lasted me two days! The KFC Twister wrap officially has a heavyweight competitor. The chips are crispy and seasoned beautifully every time too, not limp or soft or wet like a lot of big chain takeaways tend to be when you order in. I've also sampled the sizzling minted lamb chops and the sizzling whole sea bass, and both were divine (even if the portion sizes of both dishes leave something to be desired!). We're exceptionally lucky to have Hometown Cafe here in Kempston, Bedfordshire. Order in and taste it for yourselves.

Great little café, first time visiting as it looked good from the outside. You can eat in or takeaway, good varied menu. The restaurant and toilet were spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked some questions about the menu. The food was presented very well in a takeaway box, the burger was wrapped separately in the box. The food was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. The chips were crispy and not greasy, the burger was tasty and cooked well and was served in a brioche bun which was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable and included a soft drink for £5.95. Definitely would visit again.

The chicken was juicy, tender and flavoursome. Price on the higher side, but the taste makes up for it, probably the best in bedford at the moment. Biryani was poor, alot of meat, but lack flavour and not enough spice and tasted quite dry. The Shaktora Donor was flavoured OK, portion on the small size, abut like the chips which were tasty and season well, but small portion again. Overall decent, would go again for chicken.

Really impressed tonight. Ordered a takeaway from their app. Great prices for a proper amount of food. Chicken wrap was delicious and I'm told the lamb burger was too. Nice chips. My son had a double burger which was seriously massive and very dense and actually filled up a tall bottomless 16 year old. Staff were nice too. Will def come back.

Hidden gem. My son and I dropped in after seeing how cosy it looked from the outside. We decided to eat in and I was expecting the usual Bedford kebab shop food. WRONG. These guys are a cut above, I don't know what the secret Krabby Patty recipe is, but I want it... Best burgers we've had in a while. Thankyou 😊

My wife and I have been to Hometown Cafe and Grill at least 4 times. The food is good and varied,well cooked always with a hint of spice, however if you like very hot spicy food, this place is a must. Abdul who runs the cafe is always very friendly, and can recommend a dish for every palate

Grilled chicken is tasty, moist and fresh. Corn on the cob with a touch of sauce is excellent. Loaded chips are nice. Naga Donner is amazing but be warned it is hot. The burger was a disappointment. The patty was dry, cheese had no taste, sauce was tasteless, even the extra ketchup i asked for was tasteless. Nevertheless this place gets a 5 star from me.

Went to hometown this evening with my partner & friend for the first time after them both highly speaking about them and it did not disappoint. Every single dish we had was delicious, the flavour was incredible. We will be back again & recommending to others, Thank you!

One of the best Asian food we have tried in years and definitely the best in Bedford. We have been a regular customers since we moved from London 2 years ago. Food is lovely and served very quickly. Their delicious food, the generous quantity and friendly staffs will surely make you recommend this place to others!

Great turkish restaurant, ordered the fire grilled chicken which was fantastic- chicken was juicy and tender with lots of herby flavours. The karak chai drink was great too. Abdul who attended to us was friendly and professional, definitely to visit if you are in the area!

Disappointed.. says 15:30 open , I had to drive 20’min to come with my family to have some food and when I get to the place they still close. I would never recommend this place, avoid travelling long distance if u think to eat at this place , they can be open and close whenever they want ; they don’t respect the shift , disgusting, absolutely disgusting, it would of been my first time coming here as I’ve been told to visit hometown but after what happen today I would never ever go there or recommend this place ever. If you can do a bussines then just shut it up for good. Disappointed big Time

First time ordering from Hometown cafe & Grill, we ordered a mega platter for 5 of us and there was more then enough. Chicken was cooked to perfection full of flavour as was the rice and we will definitely be returning.

Everything was good….apart from the fully loaded chips….which were basically raw and covered in some white slime rather than cheese which I had to bin… so maybe the restaurant could work on this for future reference

Firstly the food was half an hour late (ordered on just eat). We ordered the medium pasta and you couldn’t even taste the food it was so hot (spicy) would need to call the fire department if one orders hot. As the food was running late I decided to call in as we had hungry people to feed and was met with the rudeness and eventually slamming the phone down on me.
