Small park with a playground for children to play and a dinning area for adults. Perfect for an afternoon picnicking, or a relaxing view of the Milwaukee cityscape. Plenty of space for families to socialize. There are bike paths leading down the south side of the park too. :)

Pretty cool beach area south of downtown Milwaukee. Nice stretch of sandy beach overlooking Lake Michigan with a distant view of downtown. Just south of the beach is a beer garden run by Milwaukee County Park System which is even cooler !!

Loved the beach- took our dog to swim on a long leash. He had a great time and the beer garden is nice to finish the night out!

This is my favorite beach in Milwaukee area because everything you'd want for the family is all in one area. You can swim, barbecue, set up a volleyball net, go to the play area with the kids, room to fly kites and even bring your dogs too. Then there's the beer garden area where you can buy food and drinks, sit and relax at the tables they've got set up. Restrooms(CLEAN TOO) are inside the building as well as and I've seen beautiful wedding pictures being taken there also.

Beautiful a must see! The pier and boats are splendid to watch! Water is so clear and this is worth the walk! Dog friendly as well!

I been to Milwaukee this year. Very peaceful beach. My Saint Benard enjoy more than I did, I think lol

Husband and I longboarded down the path, minimal debris on the path and it was very wide. Beautiful beaches.

Large free parking area! All kinds of people were here enjoying the day. Large play area for children. Nice folks gave us bread to feed the seagulls. Very nice experience!

Beautiful water view! A lot of space to set up picnics, or towels. Great little bar/restaurant there too. I love taking my dog there to go swimming. Plenty of parking as well.

I walk here often during the week. Very pleasant... This weekend I visited the Farmer's Market.

Came for the farmers market, which I haven't been to since it began. Lots of food vendors and a few vendors selling produce. A lot of the vendors were only accessible by going on the grass versus sidewalks, which made pushing a wheelchair difficult.

I walk the beach and discovered a few things: there are some nice benches and new fencing to watch the duck swim around, took some pictures of that. This also a very nice place to launch your boat and I took pictures of the rates. You can pay by the launch pay by the year. You can also get a break for being over 60!! They also have a very nice fish cleaning station with a restroom! It's located right next to the Milwaukee county Park beer garden so you can get up beer and some lunch after fishing! There's also a place to clean your boat!

The playground is usually pretty crowded, but my children always have a great time and I get great views of the water. The facility on site has a public restroom, which is great with little ones.

Excellent family beach , playground area close to beach area , very reasonably priced food that opens at 4pm, nice calm waters For little kids , dock down the beach to jump off of , overall better than Bradford especially if you have children or don't want to be near alot of people but still have alot to do in the area

Walked a trail along this beach on a beautiful foggy night. It was very mystical and serene. If you ever need to clear your mind, take a stroll here one morning or evening.

Super nice beach with calm clear water and a reasonable amount of people. there are restrooms at one end, plenty of space in the sand, and a kitchen and beer garden at the other end near a super sweet playground! We will be spending our hot days here from now on!

Great play area, cafeteria (I am not sure what the correct term for on-site food at a beach is!) Clean grassy areas and a beautiful beach!

Me and my family came here for picnic after visiting the zoo and I can 100% says that the environment at the top of the mountain which say "reservation table" is clean and beautiful! The only problem is that the toilet is inside the restaurant building which stink full of alcohol.

I've been coming here all my life, but now cone with my children, also! We love it here...playground, sand pit, bathrooms, a picnic area across from those things, as well...just a very convenient place to play, enjoy the outdoors..plus the water is not far from those areas, either!

Love coming here with my dog and going swimming. If you come in the evening, you’ll also get to watch a very pretty sunset which looks extra gorgeous with all the sailboats in the distance. There’s also a nice walking path, grassy hill to sit and relax on, and a place to eat too.

Our party wanted to go to the beach while in milwakee. We were very disappointed to find a lot of dead fish in the shore. The sand was not clean, lots of rocks and sticks. Nothing like the previous reviews.
