I LOVE BOB AND SHAKER'S! I've stayed in both of the upstairs penthouses with friends, and Bob and the entire staff have been extremely accommodating, kind, knowledgeable, and fun! The atmosphere, history, and decor at Shaker's is like nothing else in the area. My friends and I generally end our birthday festivities at Shaker's to enjoy a cigar and a delicious martini. I recommend trying one (or all) of their themed dinners. They spend lots of time planning the dinners and pairing wines and spirits with each dish. Check out their upstairs patio or go on a tour where you can see the penthouses and the cellar! Shaker's also has guests that come in to do palm readings, do regular filming for television shows, host podcasts, host creative photoshoot events, and much more! Definitely recommend!

The hubby and I came to try this out on a date night! We really really loved the atmosphere! Service was excellent and friendly. Bob came by our table to welcome us and say hello which was fantastic.... not enough owners being owners these days! We had Oysters Bruscheta and Pizza and everything was fantastic. My hubby had the leftover pizza next day and said it was even better! Our tour was a little bumpy. Our guide was really doing great but suddenly wasn't feeling well and we felt super bad for him. He did his best to finish the tour out but additionally we had a very obnoxious guest on our tour that was kinda running the mood for everyone unfortunately! We will try the tour again in hopes of a better experience but definitely coming back for the food and everything else!

It was raining when we arrived but were grateful that we got to experience the rooftop before we left! Everything about this place was amazing!!! The food, the selection of cigars, the variety of bourbons available! A little pricey but we knew that going in. Definitely worth the price for the experience!

Went to shakers ghost tour, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and sweet. It was a fun experience for my moms 50th. The drinks were good as well.

Had my first Shaker’s experience this week & I’ll be back. What a fun setting, vibe, and bartender. The back bar is such a neat spot!!

Very nice place and along with the tour, makes it an interesting place. Food was very good and the pairing of the cigars with the drinks... top notch. Definitely going to have to make it back.

Took the 2.0 tour with Elizabeth and had an awesome time. There is so much history and great stories that happened there. The drinks and service is always great with friendly staff. We will be back again. Update: checked my photos and think I caught a ghost behind my left shoulder.

Pay for the tour -it's absolutely worth it! Also the bar is beautifully eclectic with vintage everything and a lot of it being original (back bar, flooring, etc). It's a must to go visit and explore

First time at Shakers and it was phenomenally fun. Drinks were great, cigars were nice, but the best part was our Ghost Tour Guide Mel! She killed it!!! Very informative and overall a wonderful performance by her! She was very engaging and knowledgeable about the building and the people who made the building what it is today. I would highly recommend taking the tour!!!

Loved the tour and the history of this bar. Sophia was an excellent tour guide and let our group go at its own pace. I am not big into ghosts but some in our group were and a few that werent were after the tour was done. Drink prices were excellent and we all had a great time. Well worth the visit. Look forward to making a return visit. Thank you Sophia and Shakers for having us

This is hands down the best haunted history tour I’ve ever been to & I’ve been to so many. We did the original tour and it was so in-depth, interesting and just so much fun. I want to go on all the other tours here now. Joe was our tour guide. Give him a raise! Promotion! Whatever you need to give him as a reward, do it because he was the best ever. Loved it. I wish you could reserve a specific tour guide when you book because I’d always book with him.

Came in on Halloween and last minute, took a ghost tour with Miranda. It was awesome! Learned a great deal about the building, history of the site, and various haunts.

Came here for my 21st birthday, we did the ghost tour and had a couple drinks. On all accounts this place is awesome. The ambiance was off the charts, the drinks and service were great, and the ghost tour was really well done and interesting. Our tour guide, Kirsten, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made it all all around great experience. The rooftop bar and speakeasy vibe were also reason enough to come back. Highly recommend!

We only grabbed a drink and went on a spur of the moment tour but this was definitely so much fun! Highly recommend the peach cider! Also CG our tour guide was amazing! We ended up becoming kind of friends and my co-worker and I literally can’t wait to come back and take another tour with her! 10000/10!

Went on a ghost tour with Kirsten and was able to interact with multiple spirits with the space (maybe even captured a man's face in a picture's reflection next to an easy chair?). You can tell that Kirsten has a connection with the spiritual and has a respect for those who are still residents. There was a jazz band that added to the ambiance and the bar staff was great at making non-alcoholic drink recommendations as well as giving some historical background of Shaker's.

Shaker's is one of my favorite places in Milwaukee! I love to bring people to visit for their first time and I brought a friend recently. Y'all did not disappoint!! Christopher was amazing on the tour, that we decided to go on last minute. All the tour guides do a fantastic job, but this tour was by far the best one I've been on (and I've been on a handful). Christopher appeared to really know and enjoy the history!! I appreciate him and this swanky spot! Thank you!

Came across this awesome bar randomly online and decided to check it out! We were greeted right away by Alexi who invited us on the ghost tour that we had no idea they even offered. He ended up being our tour guide and it was an AWESOME experience. He was very knowledgeable about the history behind the building and kept us very intrigued with the information that he had about what went on in every floor. This spot was the cherry on top for our overall trip to Milwaukee. When I visit again from Nebraska I WILL be back. I will highly recommend my friends and family to visit this place and have a tour with Alexi!!

We went specifically for the tour, our guide was Alexi, he did a great job! He was fun and funny and seemed to really know the history of the place and was real great about customer involvement! The place was very nice...obviously its a cigar bar so if you have an aversion to the smell, its not for you. That being said as crowded as it was it was not an overwhelming cigar smell. Can't wait to go back to try the food!!

Kirsten gave an amazing ghost tour! Super knowledgable and willing to answer questions. It was super fun. I wish I had an encounter with a spirit but maybe next time! The service is overall outstanding here and the staff were friendly and really knew their stuff. I will say, skip the food and rather go for the atmosphere.

Honestly I love this place! Every time we're in Milwaukee we ALWAYS make this a must stop. If you smoke cigars or not check this place out. The uniqueness & history of this place is just an awesome place to hang out. We always go inside and enjoy our stay but this time we had our dogs, so we enjoyed our cigars on their outdoor patio on a beautiful day. The service has always been great. Shout-out to our latest bartender Zach, he was fantastic! The Shakers Ghost Ale is a must if you haven't had it. Shakers is the only location to get this beer so if you're in the area I highly recommend you stop grab a drink and see this place for yourself. Don't forget to tip your bartender!

This is easily one of my favorite places to go for drinks in Milwaukee. The spooky theme works really well and they have multiple different areas on multiple floors to check out, all with a very pleasing aesthetic to them. The cocktails are all worth trying, I've gotten something different every time and never been disappointed. Personally recommend the sprecher ghost ale. Also, the Ghost Tour was really cool, the building has some great history to it. Colleen was an awesome tour guide!

My family and I headed to this Cigar bar after hearing about it from the Bobble head museum & decided to take a look at it. The building is very historic and it shows inside and out. Once going inside into shakers we were greeted by Christopher ( our tour guide) . Christopher really had us intrigued by his brief description of the tour and we caved in and did the Shaker’s ghost tour after and it did not disappoint. Christopher was very knowledgeable and very into role as a tour guide as well as his facts about the building. He told us many stories and the history of the building and how it was used as well as why it was haunted and how it became to be owned by the now shakers owner. It truly was so interesting but we did feel really creeped out in the basement portion of the tour you could definitely feel the vibes were off as Christopher described what happens down there and who’s still hanging around 🫣! He truly made our experience the best he had a too many creepy stories to keep track of and gave us so much info about what we were looking at. We felt brave enough to do this once but trust me we would not revisit that scary basement again ! Thanks for our great experience Christopher we totally recommend this tour to anyone on the fence about going !

Kirsten did an amazing job on the ghost tour. She was amazing , very detailed, nice & friendly. We noticed a few things in our photos we took that looked a little haunted, I will be back to do the 2.0 tour soon.

I went with a group for the ghost tour and had a lot of fun. The guide was knowledgeable and delivered with the perfect energy. We stayed afterward for the fireside chat with Ciji, who shared her own experiences. She was a great presenter, and kept everyone engaged the whole time. I would (and likely will) go again. I definitely recommend the whole experience!

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The atmosphere and friendliness is all too overwhelming. Grab a stick, order something expensive from the drink menu, and enjoy dinner once you've had your tobacco and get in line for the tour. You won't regret it!

We all shared a pizza, it was very good. Cocktails were very good also, just be careful of the prices if your not getting rail. Think my friend ordered a drink with "Angel's Breath", and it was best Cocktails ever had however $35 each. We stayed for the fortune teller, she was impressive, as well as a ghost tour. This building has amazing history. I would encourage you to read up on history before the tour. It's difficult to cover everything during the tour. You will appreciate your tour more with a little research. The atmosphere is fantastic, however the seating seems sparse so plan accordingly.

This is a really cool bar with a really unique history. Goes back to spyeah to speak easy days with alcopone up through the ages to having Jeffrey Dahmer hang out there. Obviously it's supposed to be haunted and it might be my new favorite bar in Milwaukee
