Who
loves
dentists?
This
guy.
Well,
not
until
I
fell
in
love
with
everyone
at
Elmbrook,
via
word-of-mouth
recommendation
from
folks
at
my
office.
I'll
be
honest,
I
am
generally
wary
of
dentists,
particularly
in
larger
practices
like
this
at
Elmbrook,
but
I
am
thrilled
to
be
able
to
say
that
I
have
found
a
safe
place.
In
general,
the
experience
itself
is
always
so
lovely,
from
the
front
desk
staff,
to
when
Katie
calls
me
to
work
on
follow-up
scheduling
and
insurance
items,
and
every
single
hygienist
that's
ever
had
the
displeasure
of
working
on
my
tense,
anxious
head
for
the
past
five+
years
has
always
been
so
calm
and
fun
and
personable.
I'm
truly
happy
to
see
all
of
those
faces
now
when
I
go
for
appointments,
and
even
when
I
was
a
couple
minutes
late
for
my
most
recent
appointment,
walking
into
find
an
entire
gaggle
of
worried
faces
looking
for
me
was
just
like
wow
I
feel
like
I'm
back
in
the
care
of
my
lone
ol'
dentist
back
on
the
farm.
I
originally
was
under
the
care
of
Dr.
Tack,
who
was
the
one
who
really
won
me
over
and
made
me
keep
coming
back
to
Elmbrook.
Pour
one
out
for
Dr.
Tack!
When
I
was
transferred
to
Dr.
Plecas,
I'll
be
honest
-
that
old
wariness
started
to
creep
back
in.
He
is
far
too
kind
for
a
male
medical
professional
for
me
to
trust
but
the
journey
I
took
with
him
through
2023
was
enough
to
not
only
win
me
over
but
to
motivate
me
to
write
a
positive
review.
When
a
resorption
presented
itself
out
of
the
blue,
the
front
desk
got
me
an
emergency
appointment
with
Dr.
Plecas,
where
he
quickly
diagnosed
the
painful
situation
and
got
me
a
same-day
referral
to
a
periodontist
for
an
extraction
[five-star
shoutout
to
Dr.
Stoianovici
and
his
team!],
and
we
began
a
nine-month
process
to
restore
my
smile
-
because
of
course
it
was
a
front
tooth
I
was
now
missing.
Every
step
of
the
way,
Dr.
Plecas
and
his
team
explained
things
thoroughly,
kept
me
informed
and
ensured
I
understood
the
science
and
mechanics
within
each
phase,
and
just
exuded
empathy
as
I
dealt
with
what
was
an
absurdly
emotional
ordeal.
And
along
the
way
Katie
made
sure
we
stayed
on
top
of
insurance
benefits
to
optimize
financial
outcomes.
We've
been
through
a
lot
together,
Elmbrook
staff
and
me,
and
I'm
thrilled
to
tell
anyone
who
will
listen
that
there's
a
place
that
is
safe,
practical,
comforting,
and
highly-skilled.
If
you'd
told
me
a
year
ago
I
was
about
to
encounter
a
nine-month
process,
having
a
bone
yanked
out
of
my
head,
something
screwed
into
my
jaw,
my
gums
stitched
repeatedly,
and
experience
ZERO
PAIN,
crying
only
after
the
initial
diagnosis
-
I'd
have
kicked
your
shin
while
I
laughed.
But
it's
true.
Thank
you
to
everyone
at
Elmbrook
for
your
expert
care.
I
love
being
able
to
be
contrary
at
dinner
parties
in
saying
I've
got
a
dentistry
team
I
adore
and
trust.
