Impressive grounds built right on the Milwaukee River. An ambiance full of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel at home. An array of items on the menu, heated domes for small parties to dine in. A fish fry that is a must try. Three businesses in one area. Host your events here and impress. Ask them about their other businesses in the Milwaukee area. A top class establishment.

We (group of 6) rented an outdoor bubble. Apps and drinks were good. 2 people ordered the meatloaf which they enjoyed. 4 of us ordered the fish fry combo. Honestly, the only part that was very good was the cod and coleslaw. The walleye, coconut shrimp and rest of sides were average. I would go back and order the cod dinner in the future. Overall, a beautiful setting and fun, enjoyable evening w friends. The guests that were in the lodge were able to enjoy a polka concert that included 1 one man band and bubbles!

A fantastic dinner. Seriously my spouse is incredibly picky and he was blown away by the tenderloin. It was one of the best meals we've eaten out in a couple years. The environment is warm and inviting. Delicious mulled wine was perfect on a cold spring night. A beautiful, natural setting. We will definitely be back.

Sunday brunch. My party of two, and several others, waited a LONG time to see a server. We were seated in the balcony. Waited 30 minutes for a cup of coffee. The omelette was very dry and overcooked. It was hot as heck in there. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but the reality is the experience sucked. I figured this place would be a slam dunk with all the positive reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day for the lodge.

I have gone here for the lumberjack brunch and the Friday night fish fry. Both times were great. The food is always plentiful and the drinks sublime. The staff is always on point and fast. Although the best is the fish fry with a musician playing traditional German music and they had a cascading bubbles machines for the kids. Both my daughter and me Shaked our booties and played with bubbles. Totally fun!!

One of my favorite places on the east side but who ever is running it right now is running it into the ground. No patio open on a Friday night. Hardly anyone in the place should have been my first clue it was always packed before. Wait staff forgetful. ordered a spritzer white wine. no soda in my glass of wine. comment of," my fault she probably couldn't read my writing" does not instill confidence. The worst was the baked cod. It literally was so over cooked it was hard on the top . Had to dig a little out of the middle. My friend ate none. Potato Pancake wasn't pretty good. Fries with the one Pancake was a surprise. Please fix this mess. I love this place.

My friends and I had a great experience eating dinner at Hubbard Park Lodge! Delicious food, unique menu, friendly service, and a beautiful cabin-inspired space. This place is a real gem of the Milwaukee area. In the winter-- get dinner or brunch in the lodge or domes. In the summer-- get beers in their beer garden.

Walk through the tunnel in this Shorewood park and it's like you come out in a different world. The river and hills make it feel like you're out in the country. They are also attached to a bike path. They have a great beer garden that also serves food. A terrific fish fry on Fridays. I was pleasantly surprised with my visit here.

Wow. I really wanted to like this place as it was recommended to us. It was just so bad. Not sure there even was a manager. They said they were short staffed but I couldn’t even get a water from our waitress. We saw our waitress a grand total of 2 times. And the staff standing at the bar and complaining was unacceptable. The food was good although the selection was limited. The owner and/or the management failed.

Difficult to find. A longer walk from parking lot that anticipated. Beautiful setting in park. Lots of hills, pond old buildings. Plenty of parking and bicycle parking. Accessible. Well maintained. Excellent food. Being in a group that hasn't visited in five years, we needed less service that Daniel and others tried to provide. Will take spouse to at least the park.

It was a pleasant surprise. Sunday Brunch Buffet for only $18.50 per adult and $10.50 per child. If you would like to add the all you can drink option for adults it would be $40 including the buffet. Had a decent choice of options for breakfast - bacon, sausage, roasted potatoes with onion/peppers, cheesy hashbrowns, cereal, fruit, pancakes, waffles, and made to order omelets. On the more lunch side of things cinnamon donut holes, ham and turkey carving station, and salad. I recommend reservation, easy to do online. We were seated immediately and our server - Parker was great. We will be back!

My wife and I had our wedding at Hubbard Park Lodge, it was fantastic! The service and food was great, the staff were incredibly friendly and thorough. We felt the price was very reasonable. The location itself is beautiful, they set up the ceremony right next to the river which was perfect. The actual Lodge itself was very nice, they have a balcony inside that wraps around three quarters of the space which created some great photo opportunities and our guests loved! They also have a nice outdoor deck area with standing tables which was great! The event space coordinator was very friendly and responded quickly to all of our calls and questions. Overall we had a great experience, you should definitely consider Hubbard Park Lodge for your wedding space!

We made reservations for a traditional Milwaukee Friday Fish Fry. We were a bit confused on arrival as there was a wedding reception in the lodge, but they set up in the river club building and outside when that is the case and we were seated quickly. Service was attentive and quick - we got our appetizer (fried cheese curds) and dinners quite promptly. Fish fry includes both fries AND potato pancakes - a big meal! The 1-piece polka band added some atmosphere but was a bit loud for the room. We will return!

We chose Hubbard Park Lodge for our wedding ceremony and reception because of its cozy “Wisconsin supper club” atmosphere! It is naturally beautiful and the staff are always friendly. We had the pleasure of working with Chris for our wedding planning process and he made it a breeze! He was extremely helpful, communicative, and quick to reassure us with any questions or concerns. Our guests raved about the food and kindness of the serving staff. Thank you to Chris and the entire Hubbard Park Staff for making our wedding day so memorable! Thank you, Kaylee & Brian

Sometimes the food here isn’t as good as other times. But when it’s on, it’s on. It’s rare to have a long wait for a table at this hidden little gem of a place. It’s also rare to walk away disappointed. Pretty decent old fashions, at a very reasonable price. But the real beauty is everything else about this place. The history of the building, the park, setting along the river, the beer garden outside, it all, adds up to a lot more than what you see at first glance. Plus, where else do you get to walk through a tunnel to get to dinner? And it’s right on the bike trail! Plus it’s a fantastic event venue. Though I may be biased in this regard.

Like walking into a stereotype of Wisconsin in the best way. You've got to meander though the woods, but you're greeted with a warm atmosphere, red checkered flannels, and a one-man polka band. Old fashions were great, fish find fantastic in both fried and baked varieties, and the servers were lovely.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Hubbard Park Lodge last year. The venue was amazing and the wedding was everything that we could have hoped for and more. The staff went above and beyond to meet our expectations, even though the venue was probably at its maximum capacity for the number of guests. The food was incredible and several of our guests commented it was the best food that they ever had at a wedding. Even more had commented it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to!

My family had a wonderful evening inside one of the geodesic domes set up outside Hubbard Park Lodge last night. Our server, Ashley, was fantastic. Drinks and food were delicious. Steak, chicken, ribs, salmon -- all excellent. Sides -- garlic mashed, spinach, beans -- tasty. Thanks so much.

We just had our daughter and son in law's vow renewal ceremony at Hubbard Park. We would like to thank Chris and his staff for all of their hard work and efforts to make the day special! They jumped in, figured things out and went above and beyond for us that day! So many commented on the beauty of the park setting as well! We would definitely recommend Hubbard Park.

Great venue in a secluded area. Perfect for our family gathering! The cabanas were perfect. The service was incredible! The staff was very attentive to every detail. The walleye was possibly the best I’ve ever had. I was very impressed with the beer selection as well. Thanks for fantastic dining experience!

Service was very good. In my party of 4 there were no complaints about the food. We had tenderloin, elk steak and walleye fish. Quality, quantity and value were very pleasing.

What a wonderful place to come upon while on a walk along the river.. ☺ was visiting milwaukee for the weekend and i was super happy to stumble upon this lovely beer garden in the middle of the woods. Plenty of places to sit. Huge beer glasses. What more could you want. Its a 5 dollar deposit for the big glass.. Return the chip n get your 5bucks back or trade the chip and a 15 dollar difference to keep it. We brought one home. 🍻
