Stopped at La Finca Coffeehouse while going for a bike ride with my mom and had an amazing experience! Had wonderful service and the person that took our order was extremely knowledgeable about the various food and drink selections. The vibe: Large east facing windows over-looking Lake Michigan, the interior is bright and colorful with lush houseplants abounding. They play a great selection of music as well. Pictured here is the spiced latte, an americano, black bean, chicken and chorizo breakfast burrito, grilled pineapple and avocado salad and last but not least, a blueberry scone to go! Great experience overall, would highly recommend and will definitely come back! My only critique is I wish that they had a bike rack since they are right off of the Oak Leaf bike trail!

The best feeling is accidentally stumbling on a hidden gem that not only delivered exceptional coffee but ridiculously delicious foods! First, the cold brew. It's a finicky thing cold brew, it's either really good or really not good and in this instance I was blown away by the quality and smoothness of it. I could down a gallon of their cold brew and rivals some of the best out there! The iced horchata latte can be deceiving with its sweet ingredients but it's in fact balanced and spiced just right! And not overly sweet! Now for the food! I know y'all are thinking, coffee shop? Food? You mean pastries? No, this is NOT your typical food offering. They have Mexican American fusion offerings that make this place a pleasant surprise. The hits for me: The cucumber avocado, for the less adventurous it has chunky avocado spread, fresh cucumber slices, and I definitely recommend the bacon and egg add ons. Simply delicious classic Now the main event, the chicken and chorizo burrito. Flavor paradise! And that salsa will be the heat that will make you feel things again. This could easily be served in a restaurant that's how high quality it tastes. The move is to order with grilled pineapples and sour cream on the side to douse the fire from the salsa. It's just such a surprise to be eating something so delectable in a coffee shop of all places! And the house made chips are addicting, expect to eat the entire thing! Thanks Milwaukee, y'all are full of surprises, and it's not all cheese!

This lovely and cozy coffeehouse deserves five stars for the following reasons: 🔸Originality in their coffee menu, you can enjoy a hot or cold coffee (they serve tea as well) with traditional Mexican flavors such as horchata and tres leches. 🔹They offer WiFi connection and welcoming spaces to relax while enjoying your food or beverages. ▪️Seasonal specials like the Aguas Frescas, I’m obsessed with their Guava + Pineapple one, it tastes homemade. 🔺Outside seating from where you can enjoy Lake Michigan’s breeze and NO crowds. 🔸Fully equipped restrooms and by that I mean you can change your baby’s diaper. 🔹Great hours, they close until 5! I don’t have much experience ordering food since I’ve only tried their Chipotle Chicken Croissant with fruit on the side 🍊 (orange). All I can say is that it was good, the wait was brief, and no line. 👀 One thing I noticed was the strong odor from the kitchen, the minute you walk in you can smell like something is been fried. Though it doesn’t bother me, I think it’s good that you know.

I had never heard of La Finca and wasn't sure what to expect when I met my girlfriends for coffee. What a gem! Big selection of coffee and non-coffee drinks. I had the horchata chai, and it was delicious! They make their horchata in-house, and it's wonderful. I also had churros that were hot and yummy. Friends had the chorizo breakfast tacos and said they were great, too. I'll be back for sure!

Unique little indie owned coffee shop! Food selection is decent and the coffee was great! To the person who left a negative review because masks are required — duh. It’s a surge during a pandemic. You should have a mask on you always regardless? It’s been 2+ years, figure it out— it’s a plus when businesses want to keep guests and employees healthy.

Absolutely love this place! The people who work there are so kind, food is excellent, and I love their uniquely flavored lattes (especially the Coquito and Spiced!) Today was our dog's 'birthday' and they made her a special treat! : ) Make sure to support this amazing local business!

Incredible, creative coffee drinks with lots of Mexican flavor. Amazing food from scratch. Friendly staff and wonderful owners. I can't say enough about La Finca and how lucky I am that they are in my neighborhood. The drive thru is great if you are in a hurry, but I recommend carving out some time to get cozy with a hot drink and a book in one of their nooks. The view of Lake Michigan is also tranquil and lovely. And I can't forget to mention that their coffee comes straight from the family farm in México. Stop by-- there is no way you'll be disappointed!

Amazing! This place is so wonderful. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. The dollar to food ratio is an excellent value. The Mexican sweet bread (pan dulce) is a great touch to compliment the wonderfully creative coffee mixes. Most coffee houses are loud and obnoxious these days while this remains relaxed and quiet. Definitely make this your morning, noon or evening stop, your panza will be glad you did.

La Finca has been on my list to check out for a while. Finally had the chance today, and it did not disappoint. I had the spiced latte and my husband had the horchata latte, both were delicious! We had a brunch mix that consisted of the chicken chipotle burrito, chicken and salsa verde, cheese quesadilla and breakfast sandwich for the kids. Although everything was good, the burrito was my favorite - good spice and flavor. I wish we lived closer so that we could go more often!

This was such a great experience. I had a coconut cold brew per recommendation of a barista and it was amazing! I can’t wait to try more off the menu. Very unique menu and a kind staff!

I’ve been to La Finca more than once. It’s the cutest little coffee shop, that serves up some tasty coffee and non-coffee drinks, and great food items. Love going there and bringing a book and/or laptop to do some work. The only one thing I dislike is their ventilation system or lack thereof. Every time I’ve beed there and dined in, I’ve noticed a light haze in the air from the food that is being cooked behind the counter. When we leave, after being there for a little while, our hair and clothes end up smelling like we’ve been the ones cooking up some chorizo in the kitchen. The smell is so strong you can’t ignore it, and I’ve heard other customers mention it as well. So plan on taking another shower after enjoying your coffee inside. Otherwise, they do have a nice outdoor sitting area, you might want to consider sitting outside instead. It’d be nice if they installed some ventilation system for the inside though, for when it’s cold or raining outside. Other than that, love everything else about this establishment, the quality of the ingredients, and the service.

This place is one of my favorite local coffee shops! Not only is it woman-owned and has elements of Hispanic culture which feels like home, but the food/drinks are AMAZING, the service is even more AMAZING, and I love the decor and availability of variety seating. Def recommend the tres leches latte!!

I love this place. The coffee is so good and they have some unique choices along with your traditional coffee house favorites. They roast their own beans grown in Oaxaca by their own family. Too cool. It can get very busy though, especially the drive through, so be prepared to wait if you choose to visit. They do have order ahead but you have to call first. Great bakery items and some savory food as well. Parking can be tight, but there is a small lot and some street parking available as well.

The staff is so friendly, the drinks are delicious, and the food/pastries are so fresh!! So glad to have found this gem so close to Lake Michigan. It’s a perfect Saturday morning when you start your day with La Finca!

La finca a cute little cáfe that males a wobdeful cortado. The chorizo pineapple quesadillo is absolutely delicious, albeit a dripping mess from the fruit juice and grasa.

Beautiful location, handy since there aren’t other coffee shops nearby, but sadly, management is missing a business sense. Wanting to support the mission, we’ve stopped many times but key features are often missing - like having bakery consistently. Have been there when they say they’re unable to make food until a certain time. Also, asked for our coffee in a ceramic mug, to save them money and the environment, but whoops, in paper/plastic - they seemed indifferent, or that we were asking for the world. If there was consistent bakery, food, and friendliness, I’d sense their mission - that’s what’s missing. Have to head to other coffee shops :(

I went for a coffee with a friend. Ended up ordering a burrito. The burrito was very tasty and much bigger than expected. It did need a bit more seasoning, though. It's a cute little place, and their coffee is delicious and the flavors so unique.

My favorite coffee shop! They make great drinks and I love the atmosphere. The cafe is a great place to get work done. Their walk up/drive up window is awesome when I don't have time to stick around.

We started our morning with breakfast tacos and iced horchata lattes today- both were great. The ambiance is inviting and a Juan Luis Guerra song was playing, one of my personal favorites. I’m already thinking about what I’ll try on my next visit.

Warm ambiance; lovely decor; nice view of the lake. Staff was friendly and courteous; happy to describe beverage and food options (gracias Grace). Loved my Oaxaca mocha and torta. My companions praised the soup and warm pineapple salad. La Finca is tucked away but well worth a visit to St. Francis.
