Nice calm and quiet place. Good place for photo shoot.. one can enjoy the sunset. We could not go till the temple I guess the gate was from a private property, may be some other time we get to explore the place completely.. but this is not a tourist spot. it is a private property and is used for graphite mining. It has nothing in name of safely so go at your own risk..

The place is abundant in a stone mine, and as of now only leftover is a temple which is not used by the store breaker must be due to the temple's social and local concerns, the view is good but this remains good till there rain else it might be a 300 meter deep stone mine. Overall it's a good place as we went for biking purposes not at all for an outing. Do not spend are plan dedicated.

This is actually a quarry of marble. Earlier before the mining was started, there was(is) a temple that was used for worship. The authorities decide to carve out all the area except the temple part which made the temple part a solely standing structure in the middle of 200 metre deep quarry. It is definitely an extraordinary place. To access the temple one has to walk through a narrow marble, with partly rusted metallic siderails with heavy winds hitting and shaking your body. But there is one problem. There is no direct entrance as this is a private property. If you are an adventure junkie, you can climb and jump over an 8 foot wall, using rocks arranged into temporary steps, and slid yourself through a 2 foot opening on the next wall, made by former visitors. The view from the top of the temple is magical. They have taken away the idol inside the temple. I strongly not recommend any family (especially with children ) to visit this place. It is very difficult to reach this place as the road is not very proper. And there is no particular parking place (you can park wherever you want) There is no facilities like toilet or restaurants. Take your own food when you are planning to spend more time here. One final note: This is not a tourist place and basically you are trespassing a private property. I won't recommend anyone to go inside the private area, but at the same time if you really wanted to see this place, make sure you are not caught🙏

The location is closed now and you don't have access to visit. If you are going here please don't and just for a ride you are going then you can go 100m more ahead and right side a off-road is going which will just give you a view of the place where you wanted to go and not the actual place. Will add some photos that only you will be able to see. The place became private property and not now allowed by anyone, gates are closed most of the time. But the road and the trip with friends you will definitely enjoy.

Superb place, very nice scenary here. Only reason for Leaving low rating as its not a tourist destination. It is private property and visitor's are not allowed near to the temple and we can see it only from a far distance. Many people are coming in every weekend but all have go back without visiting the narrow bridge and temple area which is the major attraction here. Whoever visited in recent time had to jump the wall and also need to hide from the security personal. As per the understanding from the security this place will be demolished within 2 months.

This place has unfortunately been closed and is now private property. If you're keen on seeing it, your only option is to jump the walls, which may not be advisable. Alternatively, you can catch a distant glimpse by navigating through a small street behind the blue gate, walking approximately 500 to 600 meters. Visiting personally might not be worthwhile, so observing from a distance could save you time. 🚫🏰

Sadahalli Quarry and Temple ❤️ This place is just 25km from Bangalore City and it quite close to Bangalore airport. This quarry comes near sadahalli village. Need to pass through private property to visit this temple. There r two routes to reach this place Better come from Hollywood town. Once the tarmac road ends u will see the gates at your left side if the gate is open u can go through it.if not ask the watchman or else just jump the compound and go. Be little carefull while walking towards the temple. Don't try to get down near quarry it's not a safe place or don't try to go near water also. Visit the place it's good place to watch sunrise. Better go along with friends and enjoy do visit the place but don't trash the place and I saw so many alcohol bottles everywhere near temple also so don't do such things. Visit and keep the place neat and clean.

It is just before the Airport Toll after MacDonald's you can take left and from there hardly 5 min. the main gate to it is still closed. you can ask the locals up there or there is a small trail next to the gate you can go by bike and you need to jump the wall and go to a temple, Don't Try to get down near water it is danger be safe while crossing the pathway. It was Best Adventure Experience once you make all the to temple. Breathtaking View. Go, Enjoy, Explore. But Don't Litter the place.

Visited this place on way back from Nandi hills . Just 30kms from bangalore, you need to take an left before the tool you get to reach nandu hills. There is no proper direction or navigation to reach this place or temple. The people around there aren't aware of this and no one to guide. I couldn't find the route to reach the top of the temple but witnessed to watch some views on the way back. Would be good if someone add an exact location navigation to this place. Moreover this place doesn't look safe to go with. So avoid going alone or with you partner, it's not that safe to go with family. I got some weird feeling when visited this place. Everyone would stare at you which makes you feel akward and couldn't enjoy the ride as well. Better to avoid this place when travelling alone.

Another gem around 30 km from Bangalore. This quarry is so picturesque. We had been here to visit the temple, which was unfortunately inaccessible at the time, citing the reason that there were now barricades all around the property because it is a private property. Nevertheless, the sight was peaceful and calm ! If you plan to visit the place, do get all the information about whether it is accessible or there is an alternative way before reaching the place

Amazing place to be visited. Feels almost heavenly or for a moment that your are in China. But this is no longer accessible as the Govt. Of Karnataka order to close all stone Quarry near Airport. You can always find alternative to reach there. It has a temple in mid of the quarry and while extracting the marble/granite the left the part of quarry to access the temple which looks an amazing architecture.

Place is good but it’s now all private property. There is no entry points. don’t go here and waste your time. Land owners have installed cctv’s and also built compounds. so you can’t go there. And the temple is shifted to the village.

Good place to visit. Not that hype as shown in reels. They are not allowing to enter the temple side. Good place to plan photoshoots.

This was one of the most extraordinary places that I've went. The experience is unexplainable the view from the top is the most spectacular. The way towards the temple is also really scary. Went there with my friends had a really good time, we clicked a lot of pictures. It was really amazing experience and I really think that everyone should visit this place.

ಸಾದಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕ್ವಾರೇ ದೇವಾಲಯ⛰️ #mycitybengaluru Sadahalli Quarry temple near Bangalore airport has a large quarry. Interestingly, the temple atop the original hill has been retained, and is standing on a tower of granite, while the stone all around has been mined. The approach to the temple is via a 3-feet wide "bridge" which is actually a thin granite wall . While it was a bit scary to approach, the temple itself was very peaceful despite all the destruction around it . ⚠️this is not a tourist spot. it is a private property and is used for graphite mining. It has nothing in name of safely so go at your own risk

A beautiful large quarry off airport road, with a temple in the centre, which can be accessed by going through a spooky bridge. It's not very easily accessible but the view from the top is magnificent!

A really nice view. Best visited in morning or evening when the sun is not too hot. You can enjoy the view from the top of the hill or walk to the temple through a narrow bridge. Word of caution, the entrance is through a private property, which can be a challenge.

Nice place for chilling. The gate to temple was closed when we visited. Please go 200 mtra from Google map location. You will find a small temple. There is a small pathway next to it. You can follow it to get inside the quarry.. there will few locals they can also help in identifying the way.

Temple located in the middle of marble quarry. A 3-4 feet wide path is left to reach till temple, either side of the path is around 100 feet deep. A perfect place for the people who loves adventure. You can see 360° panoramic view from the temple.

Totally worth it. The view was breathtaking and unique. Saddest part was that the bridge was closed. But jumped a wall and made it 😬🙈. Don't try if you are not that adventurous. The destination Google map shows you was closed. There's an alternate way. Ask the folks there😊

What a place to spend the evening. I reached there by 4 in the evening. The main gate was just shunted so parked my bike outside. After walking for about 200 mts you will see the stone bridge and temple. Take as much pics as you can because it's really calm and serene there. There would be civil engineers doing their job so no need to worry. The temple is inaccessible though. For an evening ride, totally recommend this.

It's private property previously there was not restriction to go to temple but now they have closed main entrance 😶😶. There is on small shelter is there you can sit and relax for some time!! But not recommended because place is looking like very dangerous... Not worth of coming!!

Good place for a short ride within Blore city limits. Its jus before the airport. Not a place to hang out, but yes should visit the quarry temple, whenever it opens back post the pandemic

  • 2/5 Subramanya s. 9 months ago on Google
There is no proper approach road to the place. They don’t allow people. But the views are just brilliant.
