Great place within reach of the city. I went cycling to place and was surprised to see many people. Looks like it has become popular after the pandemic. Two locals asked for money even though I didn't park my cycle. Told them to ask people to not carry bottles, plastic and trash the place. Lots of party trash was found all over the place. There 3,4 temples and views all across. One can see the international airport and the planes landing at distance. It has some good terrains of various kind. Kindly do not throw trash and spoil with absurd writing on the walls.

A beautiful place outer city side towards airport road. The surroundings are such calm and peaceful. Get a nice view of city and the airport from the top of hill. Easily accessible from main airport road. Evening time is best suited. Carry your own food or beverages as such facilities not available on hill top. Vehicle parking is available on mid hill area and lower area if going by stairs(temple side). No rush as other parts of city. Just peace and calm nature.

Just about 30 km from Bengaluru, is this small hillock located near Chikkajala. It is an easy climb to the top with about a 100 steps, or you can even reach the top by vehicle. There are a few temples on the top. Pack some food as there are no shops nearby. Perfect for a short picnic ๐Ÿ˜Š

A small beautiful hill with a temple at top. From one side there are stairs to climb the hill to reach the temple. From the other side, you can take your 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler till half of the hill and park there. Enough parking for 2 wheelers but limited space for 4 wheelers. You can climb the hill after that to reach the top. Its easy to climb. Many aged people and children visit there. The view from the top is amazing. From one side you can see the city and the Nandihill region. Worth visiting.

Good for an evening walk up the hill and watch the sunset and spot some flight takeoffs n touchdowns at the devanahalli Airport. Good for old people also, as the vehicle can go all the way to the top.

A beautiful small hill with easy trek. Awesome sunset view. Visitors must refrain from littering the place. All over you can seen broken beer bottles. Ample parking, scenic view for a afternoon or evening family quality time.

Nice quiet place for a quick individual or family outing. The place gives a photogenic view of the surrounding areas. I have seen folks camping there as well. One can visit anytime over the day. Vehicles could be parked uphill. Several temples could also be found. However some irresponsible visitors do spoil the beauty of the place by littering.

This is a serene hill top located very close to KIA. Best to visit is at sunrise or sunset. Majestic views of city around and has lot of boulders with temples on top. Multiple options are available to reach the top through steps or climb. Trek is very basic suited for small kids. We went there to catch the sunset. Worth visiting. No charges for car parking.

It is a beautiful spot to hang out with friends or family. This hill is only 25kms away from Bangalore. It's a small hill with scenic views, watching sunset here is just iconic. The climb is not very difficult and can be reached within half an hour.

๐Ÿ“Akkayamma Betta .. Holy caves & temples are dotted around this sacred hill with views from boulders & meditation spots... .. Great place for a weekend trip, infact there are a lot of places around Devanahalli which are good getaways. You can visit Doddjala lake which is close by to Akayamma betta. There is temple as well.

Not far from the main road, good paved road and car can go upto say 70% of height only, rest you have to climb. Good views of greenery around but nothing much to do. You won't get anything to eat or drink there so carry along with you. Boulders are ruined by people by putting names on it.

Fabulous place! Never knew there was such beauty near Yelahanka, so glad I found it!! This can't be missed and is a scenic paradise, please do visit! You can park near the temple, there won't be any charges taken for it. Free entry but beware of beggars. Also there's a staircase you can climb from the bottom of the hill if interested, otherwise car can be taken to the top.

Akkayamma Betta is perfect place to visit for some peace time for yourself or a good place to visit with friends and family. Itโ€™s accessible from many ways like from airport road, from husmaranhalli and from country club. The view which you see from the peak Is breath taking and calm. You can enjoy sunset from this place. Earlier this place was not so known because of which crowd was less but now it has been hyped by people and the number of visitors have drastically increased. You can get snacks (basic) and sugarcane juice near starting point if betta. People who have knee problems should avoid as you have to climb a bit to reach the peak of betta. No entry fee is required and you get good amount of parking space. Best time to visit will be going an hour before sunset so you can find a perfect place to settle yourself and watch the sunset. Sports shoes is recommended to visit and jackets during winter months. Overall itโ€™s good place to visit. There should be some security as people have wrote their names over all stones and no fencing is available near the drop zone.

A beautiful place which is east to find on maps! There's a bus also. You can ride scooter/ bike up till the top or you could climb. The view is beautiful and it's serene. It's quite and calm. There aren't any shops there, so go prepared. It's clean (please keep it that way). Best to go early morning or evening because it gets super sunny and there isn't much shade.

A still under construction set of temples atop a hill. People come here for outings too in addition to the piety. The idea of the temple atop this hill is good since the feature will stay intact....else it would have become a granite mine. Civic sense and cleanliness both by the visitors and the temple committee needs tremendous improvement. Inadequate policing leaves it's mark as vandalism on the boulders.

This is a breathtaking hilltop offering a mesmerizing sunset experience near Bangalore Airport. (40 min from Hebbal). The short 5-10 minute climb to the summit is a joy in itself, making this spot accessible for all age groups. The panoramic view from the hilltop is nothing short of magical, providing a front-row seat to the sun bidding adieu in the most spectacular fashion. The unobstructed view paints the sky with hues of orange, pink, and purple, creating a visual feast that lingers in memory. Adding to the charm of the location is a serene temple nearby, allowing visitors to soak in the spiritual ambiance amidst the natural beauty. The tranquility of the surroundings enhances the overall experience, making it not just a scenic visit but also a peaceful retreat. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a photography buff, or simply seeking a serene escape from the city hustle, this hilltop is a must-visit. The accessibility, ample parking, and the enchanting sunset view make it a perfect destination for families, couples, or solo travelers. Worth visiting.

This is an amazing spot to visit for people in bangalore it's around 30kms from the city. It was my first time visiting this place and I must say it's way more peaceful than the usually crowded Nandi Hills. This place is calm and serene. There's a temple on top and lots of rocks to climb up or sit under it. One can also see a lot of takeoff/landings of airplanes as the airport is closer. I would recommend to visit in the mornings for the sunrise or in the evenings for the sunset.

Nice place for short break near to airport. It's a small hill top with many temples. There are around 140 steps to reach the akkayamma temple, and after that, there are no steps. Can visit for sunrise or sunset. Lot of parking place available. Vehicles can go up with a bit of off-roading.

Good place to spend some quiet time. Better in the morning or evenings. Usually windy and great open spaces. Lots of stray dogs everywhere. Beware. Parking available. Car, bike you can bring anything. Thereโ€™s a temple also on top of the hill.

One of the shortest and best place to spend evening or morning. Its typical bangalore hill top, no trees better to avoid visiting after 12. Carry Cal's and glasses and enough water. You will not find shops are hotels nearby. But the place is awesome, hardly 40km from city center. No safety issues , temple suitateatd nearby.

It's a decent get away from city, a moderate location with good view of the airport, DPS, Nandi hills and Amazon fulfillment center.

An beautiful place to enjoy the weekends mornings. You can cycle half the way up the hill on a tarmac road and the other half you can either push your cycle or ride it uphill if you are confident. Great view from the top at the lake present at the bottom and the near by Yelahanka air field. You can see make take off from the airstrips near by and can spend good amount of time enjoying the sunrise at the place and visit multiple temples on top of the hill and some old structures present there.

Good place for a nearest getaway place. Donโ€™t miss the sunrise. If youโ€™re cycling then Iโ€™d suggest you to take the route through Hennur bamboo forest, youโ€™ll love it.
