I can’t say enough about this gem of a restaurant. I was in town on business for 3 days and ate at Hell’s Kitchen 3 times. That’s how amazing the food, atmosphere, and service was. The first night in town I had their ribs. I’m from the south and Hell’s Kitchen Mitch & Steve’s Award-Winning ribs are some of the best I’ve ever had. The next morning their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were absolutely mouth watering. Warm and flavorful until the last fork full. Tasted like a pancake had a baby with your grandma’s lemon pound cake. Simply wonderful. And each time I came into the restaurant the service was top notch. If you’re ever in town you have to try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

What can you say about this place... Well, for starters, it has nothing to do with Gordon Ramsey. But don't let that discourage you. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant lives up to its name. You go downstairs like you're literally walking down to hell. But, let me tell you, if this is hell, than my sins were definitely worth it. However, fantastic atmosphere is only the beginning. The food is incredible, with a smoky palette to compliment the overall cost theme. All together, Hell's Kitchen offers a phenomenal dining experience, unique to the point you'll be counting your sins for a trip back.

Atmosphere was fun. Food was pretty good and unique. Had the chicken fried steak on a waffle. Add some maple syrup and what a different flavor. Haven’t had anything like it before. Although I wouldn’t do the cheesecake again. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be but it was pretty dry.

2-1-2024 Thursday morning about 10:00am. Pretty empty when we arrived. Quick service. Coffee could have been a little hotter for me. We ordered Porridge, lemon ricotta pancakes, walleye nuggets and a poutine. Holy Cow, that was a lot of food. We ate almost all of it, we brought home part of the pancakes. You have to listen, that food in the basement is DELICIOUS!

Ain't no way Gordon Ramsey yelling at people when his own restaurants food taste like unseasoned microwavable frozen meals. I was disappointed with everything but the bacon. Surprised they didn't mess the bacon up. Those mashed potatoes were definitely from a box. The salmon had no flavor. The ribs were dry. The deviled eggs were pretty plain. We sent the walleye bites back because they were also flavorless. This place is so overrated!!!

The food here left a little to be desired. The Warm Greens Grain Bowl with added Bison Sausage was absolutely amazing! The problem came with the Barbacoa Short Rib. They seemed to be dumped with seasoning (maybe coriander or cinnamon) leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The good part about it, it falls apart and melts in your mouth. We had amazing service, wish I was better at names to give my long bearded server a shout out! The Atmosphere was over the top for me, way over stimulating but that is on of those to each their own things. I would go back and try other things but not the Short Ribs.

Delicious food in a really cool environment. The dry rub tots were awesome and enough to be a meal. The chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy at the same time! Not enough room for dessert.... maybe next time (:

I love this place! Only had breakfast there a couple of times. Their dishes are very creative & well executed. Good size portions too. Great place to go before a Vi-Queens game. Had the walleye hash, my buddy had, good gosh I can't remember the name of it. Just show them the picture when you get there and they'll recognize it. Employee owned, go support them!

Unique atmosphere and good food. We had lunch on a Saturday. I had a great Bloody Mary to start. That helped because the time between being seated and ordering was quite long. Once we ordered, things picked up again and the rest went well. I had the Ultimate BLT and enjoyed it. Overall a good experience and worth checking out.

Great food and price, definitely worth one or two stops if you're on vacation in Minneapolis. Food is interesting but not overpriced, affordable for a trip here. Decor is fun and a nice change from the usual pub or grill. Servers are fun and make for great conversation, give good suggestions on the menu too. There is a 15% service fee but it's pretty much in place of a tip and it's distributed to the staff to ensure they're paid well for their work. I'm definitely coming back if I'm in the area!

I don't get here very often but it is one of my favorite restaurants in the twin cities. The atmosphere is fun, the food is amazing and the staff will go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. They offer live music regularly and you can't go wrong if you purchase any of their house made products like their peanut butter, coffee beans, porridge kits, etc. A must try are their lemon ricotta pancakes. They are legendary!

Very nice place in the basement, right in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Very awesome customer service. The food was absolutely delicious. Tonight was definitely a ban night. The prices are very affordable...🔥🔥🌞☀️

The burger were so good ! Everyone who got one loved them. I ordered the chicken tacos and they were so nasty I was disappointed. I took one bite and knew I couldn’t finish them. My sister had the pork tacos and she said they were okay but definitely could of been better for the price. Drinks were good. Staff was friendly. Clean space. They have so much kool stuff around to look at and take pics with! Great place.

We have been to this place a few times during the years and never disappointed! A fantastic eclectic restaurant, employee owned and very original. As an employee owned restaurant and service charge included seems like everyone is making a living wage, so they all are very customer friendly and happy, the place is very clean and has a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. Oh the food is absolutely well prepared and delicious.

As a lover of the dark, odd, and non ordinary..I love this space and the concept that they have created. Great vibes all around. The waitstaff was good.. attentive. Food took some time to get out but was well worth it. The lemon ricotta hotcakes are amazing.. sign me up for seconds. I also had the Bison Benedict.. Flavors were good here however the bison was definitely over done, making it tough. Overall a great experience.

Phenomenal, we can't remember the last time we had such a good time at a new restaurant. Food, experience, service all top notch. We are only in town for the game, and our server Alexander gave us a ton of great local spots to visit. Get the huevos you won't regret it. Also the photo booth was a fun explanation point to the meal .

I wished that they had more choices that were keto friendly. The ribs were so tender and amazing. The cheese curds were a favorite. The taco thing did not have any meat. You can add for additional price. It was okay dish. The juicy Lucy was amazing. But if you prefer you burger to be cooked more, def let the chef know. Great atmosphere. A great place for kids and families.

In town for work, heard about Hell’s Kitchen a must stop. At first it’s a bit strange, it’s in a food court, however once you walk down the stairs it’s a large restaurant with a big red bar. We were greeted asking if we had reservation, mins you it was 8pm on a Wednesday night. A bit surprised by the question. We ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender was very pleasant and keep up with our needs. We started with the walleye bites. They were just right. Not too much batter and the fish was amazing. I ended up having the chicken sandwich and fries, both recommended by the bartender. The chicken sandwich was a huge amazing chicken tender cooked to perfection. I’d make this place a stop for sure! @food_from_the_usa

Server was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. The cheese curds were great and my burger was fine. The ambiance was kind of boring, not sure if this is the typical Saturday afternoon on a rainy day. They had live folk music and when the band was done they started playing scooby doo episodes on a big screen on the stage.

Delicious dinner with a variety of vegetarian and gluten free options and big portions! I ordered the warm greens grain bowl with chicken tinga and their bleeding heart brownie for takeout. I was really impressed with the quality of the greens and the lemon vinaigrette dressing was delicious! There was so much food that I had to save my dessert for a different day. The brownie was fine, but I really enjoyed the unique raspberry juice caviar. Although I ordered takeout, when I went to pick up my food, they had very fun themed decor too

Went for breakfast .. Nothing special. Pretty blah actually. For the price, Definitely could of had larger portions and more flavor. Waffle was overdone. The pecan caramel roll was delicious. Great atmosphere.

Absolutely would recommend anyone to go. The service was amazing (special thanks to Audrey) and the food was delicious. I honestly think this is the best experience we've had at a restaurant so far. We started out with drinks - a Minnesota margarita and a Devilish Daiquiri. Both were very good. For dinner, we had the Triple C burger and the Beer Battered Walleye with sides of Parmesan fries and garlic sauce. I would always recommend getting a reservation here to guarantee a table due to it being aesthetically interesting and having good food. We hope to come back for breakfast!

Definitely come here for the atmosphere. I’m gonna have to go back another time and try different food, then maybe I’ll like the food better. I got the lemon ricotta pancakes that everyone raves about, and they were not very good.. my daughter got the mac & cheese and it was ice cold. They remade it and it was still just lukewarm. The atmosphere is top-notch though!

Food was superb. I'm fairly certain they forgot that we had checked in early for our reservation, but sat us immediately when we inquired about it 20 min past time. Service was super slow and our waitress had 2 large parties next to us, we again we seemed forgotten. We were not in a hurry, so overall still totally worth it!

Ate here on my last day in Minneapolis - wish I'd had one more opportunity to try this terrific place. Great service at the bar, incredible food with great craft beer tap list. And their Juicy Lucifer is amazing! Red pepper jelly on a juicy lucy. Can't beat it.

Great atmosphere! The menu had a wide variety or burgers, sandwiches, apps, and entrees. The live music made for a really fun environment for a gathering. The house margaritas were tasty and reasonable.

Yep it’s Hell. They follow the theme quite well. The food was fantastic and is definitely a must visit spot for those visiting the city. Food: The French dip was probably the best I’ve had in my entire life. The smashed burgers were awesome and had this cool burn mark on them. The chicken sandwhich was well worth the money with a massive filet. The ribs, a massive plate of ribs! I loved my experience dining in hell.

This spot always delivers a delicious and enjoyable experience. It had been more than 10 years since we last visited and we were thrilled to find it as wonderful as we remembered! Pro Tip: order the sausage bread, spread peanut butter on it, and top it with a layer of the Manoomin porridge. Sooo good!

Great atmosphere to end our stay in Minneapolis. We tried the sausage toast. My husband loved it, it eventually grew on me. The breakfast was delicious😋 Our server Jesse was very attentive and friendly. The local band was the extra touch to a perfect brunch. The buffet of Bloody Marys passing by was amazing. We will definitely return on our next visit.

Phenomenal service from Patrick at the bar; deviled eggs w/candied bacon...deliciously satisfying both salty/sweet. Chicken verde soup and spinach quinoa salad...a healthy must...and a grapefruit mimosa to boot. I couldn't have been happier. I would have tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, only I'm not a big breakfast eater, however they came highly recommended and local patrons thought they were to die for. Thank you for a great experience!

I had a great first experience at Hell's Kitchen Inc! I tried the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were super fluffy and delicious and topped with berries. I added whipped cream to go with. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and got to see some live music unexpectedly, so that was cool.

Had a late breakfast here on a Wednesday, we got a table right away and service was pretty quick. The food was very good, I recommend the sausage bread and the caramel bun. The Bison Benedict was also really tasty. The smores Waffle was also good but very sweet.
