The
Foshay
hotel,
is
a
skyscraper
in
Minneapolis,
Minnesota.
Modeled
after
the
Washington
Monument,
the
building
was
completed
in
1929.
Since
the
building
was
designed
to
echo
the
Washington
Monument,
the
sides
of
the
building
slope
slightly
inward,
and
each
floor
of
the
Foshay
Tower
is
slightly
smaller
than
the
one
below
it.
The
interior
of
the
building
is
a
bit
dark,
it
feels
a
bit
like
walking
through
Miami
at
night
with
the
glow
of
the
neon
lights
throughout
the
interior
of
the
hotel.
The
masculine
glam
interior
and
decor
mixed
with
the
old
charm
of
well
maintained
1929
building
makes
this
sexy
hotel
one
of
the
most
popular
in
the
twin
cities.
The
rooms
are
a
bit
small
but
that
is
to
be
expected
with
timeline
of
its
creation,
they
are
elegant
and
very
comfortable.
The
suites
provide
much
more
room.
The
lobby
bar
is
very
popular,
extremely
comfortable,
especially
on
the
weekends
and
typically
it
is
very
difficult
to
find
a
table
or
empty
chair
at
the
bar.
There
are
far
too
many
amenities
to
list
that
this
hotel
offers,
you
will
find
everything
you
require
and
more.
Take
note
of
the
unique
aroma
emanating
throughout
this
hotel,
it
is
something
you
won't
forget
and
if
you
like
it
enough
to
buy
the
candles
they
do
sell
those
as
well.
Cheers!
