Absolute
perfection!
Excellent,
comfortable,
enjoyable
one
night
stay
in
this
beautiful
hotel.
Marriott
and
Renaissance
have
done
an
exquisite
job
with
this
property.
They
have
successfully
blended
the
architecture,
look
and
feel
of
the
surrounding
community
and
created
a
superb
facility
on
the
site
of
the
historic
train
depot.
This
facility
is
new
and
completely
modern.
The
Architects
and
designers
have
done
a
beautiful
job
of
mixing
modern,
sleek
decor
with
really
cool
retro
features
and
fixtures
using
the
railroad
theme
throughout
the
property.
One
of
my
favorite
retro
features
is
the
use
of
old
suitcases
and
travel
trunks
in
several
locations!
Best
of
all,
the
hotel
is
adjacent,
actually
connected
to,
the
train
depot,
which
is
now
used
for
events.
In
my
opinion,
one
of
the
top
attributes
of
any
facility
or
business
is
cleanest.
In
this
case,
the
Renaissance
wins
top
honors!
The
entire
facility
is
immaculate!
The
lobby
and
common
areas,
as
well
as
the
guestrooms
are
spotless.
The
lobby
is
an
open
concept
which
incorporates
the
check
in
and
registration
desk,
the
hotel
restaurant
and
lounge.
It
is
not
a
humongous
area,
but
rather
a
very
cozy,
intimate
space.
My
guestroom
was
spacious,
clean,
quiet
and
comfortable.
A
very
modern
room
with
large
windows
providing
a
view
of
the
depot
and
Minneapolis
skyline
beyond.
My
guestroom
featured
a
large
flat
screen
TV,
mini
refrigerator,
safe
and
comfortable
large
bed.
The
bathroom
is
large
and
has
a
unique
design,
which
makes
it
very
functional,
especially
if
there
are
multiple
guests.
The
bath
includes
a
large,
glass,
walkin
shower
with
rain
shower
fixture.
My
encounters
with
the
hotel's
staff
associates
were
few.
However,
the
associates
I
had
the
pleasure
of
meeting
were
very
friendly
and
helpful.
I
must
give
kudos
to
the
gentleman
who
checked
myself
and
my
colleagues
in
upon
our
arrival.
He
also
provided
very
helpful
information
about
the
hotel
and
dining
options
located
near
the
hotel.
Since
this
was
my
first
visit
to
this
hotel,
the
information
he
provided
was
extremely
helpful.
Most
of
the
evening
dining
options
at
the
hotel
begin
at
3
pm.
My
colleagues
and
I
were
hungry
when
we
arrived
around
noon.
We
ventured
to
a
local
pub/restaurant
near
the
hotel
for
lunch.
Therefore,
I
am
unable
to
provide
information
about
the
hotel
dining.
However,
from
my
observations,
the
hotel
restaurant
and
lounge
look
inviting
and
enticing.
If
you
need
accommodations
in
the
heart
of
downtown
Minneapolis,
I
highly
recommend
the
Renaissance.
It
offers
perfect
accommodations
for
families,
groups
and
if
traveling
solo.
