DON'T PAY STANDARD PRICE Firstly, I had quite a big discount and was able to split the cost with a friend. If this wasn't the case I don't feel this would be worth it. The foyer is extremely nice and fancy. The facilities are good. Room was old-fashioned but nice. Clean bathroom and room in-general. If you're receiving anything it'll cost $7 per parcel which is one thing that wasn't advertised. Another was that they take a $600 security deposit until your stay is over. They put a hold on your card I believe which gets released a few days after. All-in-all it was a nice stay but the standard price is extremely expensive for what you get.

****BEWARE ROOM 742 HAS BUGS******* Stayed here from 9/22-9/26 and by Saturday morning my friend and I finally let our denial subside and realize that we were attacked by bugs in the night while we were sleeping. Not sure if they were spiders or bed bugs by morning we had welts in multiple places. Have to give it one star because this has never happened to me before in my life at any hotel I have ever stayed at. On initial presentation the hotel was nice, pool and gym are great but it clearly has an insect problem and this room needs to be fumigated. Will be calling the hotel first thing in the morning to raise this concern to staff as I’m sure this is not a new issue judging from prior reviews, wish I would’ve read them before we booked the room. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!

I had a great first experience staying at the Hilton Minneapolis. The newly remodeled lobby is expansive and gorgeous. Plenty of seating for eating, working, or connecting with friends. It is definitely a busy place for those attending conferences and business meetings due to its central location, but it still shines as a classy hotel. The rooms are nice but nothing too fancy. I found the bed a bit worn but it got the job done. The rooms are clean and come with all the amenities you could need. Enjoy a dip at the pool, a workout in the gym, or sweat in the sauna. Parking is a large underground parking ramp attached to the hotel. It's very safe and clean. I paid about $30 for a 2-day parking pass with in and out privileges-- ask at the front desk upon arrival for this option! I did contact less check-in through the app which worked quiet well 90% of the time as a virtual room key. I had exceptional service from maintenance at 11:45 pm -- when I returned to my room after a wedding I tried to turn on the bathroom sink and water started spraying from under the sink! I hadn't had issues prior and called the hotel main line. Within 5 minutes someone was there to repair the issue and was done within 10 minutes! Exceptional!!!

Our recent stay offered a mix of experiences, swaying from satisfactory to somewhat disheartening, especially when it came to dining. The hotel itself met our basic expectations, yet the service left a memorable impression for reasons less than favorable. Our first evening, a Sunday night, we were very hungry and went to the hotel's restaurant, anticipating a warm welcome and a delightful meal. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with an indifferent "sit anywhere," setting a tone of nonchalance that lingered throughout our visit. As we settled in, the anticipation slowly gave way to disappointment. Despite the presence of several staff members, assistance was conspicuously absent. We remained seated, invisible to the waiters who breezed by without a glance. After a considerable wait, I reached out, only to be met with the promise of attention that never materialized. We watched, with growing frustration, as time ticked by—20 minutes of patience turning into disillusionment. It was disheartening to witness the ease with which we were overlooked, not once, but repeatedly. In the end, we chose to seek nourishment elsewhere, driven away not by the lack of food, but by the apparent indifference to our presence. While I understand the challenges of a bustling service environment, the essence of hospitality lies in making each guest feel seen and valued. On this occasion it seemed to miss that mark, turning what could have been a lovely evening into a lesson in overlooked opportunities. It's my hope that this experience was an anomaly and not a reflection of the hotel's standard practice. Hospitality, after all, is not just about the quality of the bed or the cleanliness of the room, but the warmth and attentiveness that make a guest feel truly welcome.

Location was great, check in was a little frustrating. The person who checked us in was not the friendliest and had been rolling his eyes. Workers in the lobby and with the valet service were exceptionally friendly though! We had a few concerns during our stay, wifi never worked in our room despite being diamond members, our room’s door latch would randomly pop open. We would always pull our door fully shut and make sure it was latched, then it would randomly open on its own. It made safety a concern during our stay. Maintenance came to look at it, but the issue was unfortunately not resolved after. The pool is lovely and a moderate temp, but there was black mold on the ceiling near the fire sprinklers. I also had issues with house keeping. None of them spoke English so a simple request for an extra towel wasn’t understood. They made our beds once during our 3 night stay, but never took out the trash until I specifically asked since ours was entirely full. Then when they did take the trash they didn’t provide new bag liners for the trash cans. During our event bathrooms were not attended to and frequently out of toilet paper and paper towels on the second floor. Third floor bathrooms near the event were out of order, so just inconvenient at that point. The hotel itself is a nice location, parking was convenient, the ball rooms were lovely.. The restaurant was ok but not great, menu items didn’t match descriptions and were over priced, and the waitress ignored us until I asked about the diamond member credit. It shouldn’t take being a diamond member to get attention, and a hotel this nice should be capable of keeping up with house keeping and friendliness. Beyond those struggles the stay was comfortable. Rooms were pretty quiet, view was great. Whoever was working the desk during my last night around 1am when I called to ask for a late check out was great. Just some smaller concerns that would be nice to see addressed in the future.

Most telling story of my stay: "market" was closed, could not grab a snack anywhere as in any random highway motel. Was directed to the 5th floor vending machine. Which was from the 1970s. $1 bills only. no credit card. back at the front desk no one was able to change a $5 bill. the ATM didn't offer $1 bills. in the end an employee grabbed me a bottle of water and two bananas from behind the bar. Extremely friendly personal in an ironically outdated and out of touch hotel. Most deplorable: the small kiosk that sells you a Snickers bar for $3 and a can of coke for $4 shames you into tipping. "no tip" requires you to go through multiple steps, navigating the credit card reader. Pay your employees a fair amount so they don't have to rely on tips. With $7 for a coke and a Snickers one would think you'd have the money to do so. Beds/mattresses are hammock shaped after decades of use. Room door didn't fall into lock automatically (came back to an open room because I didn't notice at first). Most smaller restaurants in the area closed in the evening/on weekends. Parking fees can't be payed through room charge, room key can't be used for in/out of the parking garage. Housekeeping needs to be requested, won't happen automatically. It's an OK place to stay if it wasn't this ridiculously expensive.

April 2023 5* Stayed for 3 nights for business conference and really liked the place. The hotel is situated in downtown and connected to convention Center via skywalk. Also you can take light rail from the airport as it is well connected. The rooms are spacious and nice. Beds are comfortable and clean. Room service is available on demand. Washroom are nice and clean. Toiletries are of good quality. There is Starbucks and bar area in the lobby.

Stayed here for a convention. My room had bugs. Woke up with bites in multiple places. The location was convenient with access the convention center. The service is exceptional by some employees. The hotel restaurant hosts and servers were exceptional. A certain bartender who I won’t name.. needs some etiquette and costumer service training due to her dismissive behavior. The manager did remedy the issue quickly.

Pillows are terrible. They are tiny. The bar closes early, despite the demand being there. Gift shop sucks (no travel toothpaste). They are under staffed. Perfect location. Funky pool. Clean rooms. If the pillows were normal sized or bigger I would have given the hotel a better rating.

my room was never cleaned. i never had any new towels or toiletries or anything brought. my trash wasn’t even taken. the shower was not the cleanest and also started to clog… very kind staff and nice location but the service was not up to standard for the amount of money i had to pay.

First night here. With travel in full swing, I understand having Covid measures that have stayed for the hotel to save costs is fine but this hotel goes beyond any other that I have stayed at in the past year. They do not clean rooms unless specifically asked. I understand there is no room service and appreciate that I can order food and pick it up myself. It is ridiculous that I can’t call the restaurant to place an order. I must go down, place the order, and wait for my food. I’ll definitely choose a different hotel next time.

I could not have been more pleased with my stay here. The hotel was beautiful and my room was fantastic. My room was immaculate and the bed and pillow was very comfortable. The staff was also extremely friendly everywhere. I am also extremely grateful for an early check in that literally saved my entire trip and allowed me to get sleep and be a functioning human being! The bar was very lively and fun the Saturday night I went. Food was excellent too. 5 stars. I'd absolutely stay here again.

I left my Apple watch and charger in my room. But I was not allowed to go back to my room to retrieve my things, due to our room being reserved in my husbands name, even though I returned the keys, they two front desk women spoke to me, and they made me go get my I. D. But I was still denied! They actually made my husband return to get my items. Even with the same last name and wedding ring. Took over a half hour to retrieve my Apple watch and charger from my room. Such a huge inconvenience. On top of that, our refrigerator did not work. Extra fees for valet, and or ramp parking. No breakfast as someone previously which was praised in a review. The staff are NOT friendly! Actual Thieves!!

My wife and I stayed for a night when we missed a connecting flight at the airport. Pros: Only 15 minutes from the airport (at night). Great breakfast! Yalta and the staff at the Ten01 Social were so helpful and excited to see us! Clean room! Gorgeous lobby and lounge area. Cons: Our shower was empty on body wash (which we needed because we didn't have all our luggage). The aesthetic of the room was a bit dated. The elevator needed a good cleaning. Over all, I give it 4 stars because it was clean and we loved the staff!

We had to deal with a clogged shower drain our first day, and the room was not serviced when we had arranged for it because we had the Do Not Disturb sign out for one hour in the early to mid morning, and were told the cleaning crew would not return to a room if the placard was out when its turn was up. i have not had that experience at other hotels. Otherwise, the stay was OK.

It's a great location. So many cool things to see close by. My only recommendation would be that the hotel validate your parking garage ticket. Otherwise, the hotel is amazing. The pool and sauna were wonderful. And the rooms were comfortable

The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't care for the pillows but I still slept great. I chose not to have housekeeping while I was staying since I was alone and won't do that again. I run out of coffee and asked a housekeeping staff for one coffee packet, she didn't want to give it to me but did. Then I realized I was running low on toilet paper and asked the housekeeping staff outside my room and they refused. I've never at any hotel been told no by housekeeping staff before. They refused because my room was not on their list to clean. I was furious and went back into my room. I took the toilet paper roll off and took it to show them and she ran to give me a roll. I was going to complain on my way out but didn't. I suggest you call the housekeeping dept if you want/need anything extra because the staff on the floors don't want too. All they had to do was note my room number for inventory purposes.

Stayed here while I was attending a work conference. They have a large lobby with lots of seating if you arrive before check-in or check-out and need somewhere to hang out before heading to the airport. When I arrived they asked if I wanted a room on a higher or lower floor, so I was able to get a room up on the 17th floor with a great view of downtown. My room had 2 double beds, a large desk if you need to get work done, and a comfy chair by the window. One thing I was not as impressed by was the food served at the conference. The breakfasts were continental so only had pastries, bread, oatmeal, and some sad looking fruit. A few of us ended up eating at the hotel's breakfast in the lobby instead, which was nice to get hot food, but was quite expensive for what you got. The conference lunches were slightly better but had rather bland food. I did like the lobster mac, charcuterie, and other apps served at the reception though. Luckily the hotel is very walkable to a bunch of great restaurants.

Nice hotel. Great customer service. Room wasn't up to par but not bad. Not all of the elevators were working and not enough employees available/staffed to have 2 conferences going on, football and baseball season fans staying in the hotel.

The rooms are just okay. The service is average. They have packed bar after Vikings games with a ton of people working but only 2 bartenders... and only 1 knows what she is doing. So they need to plan ahead of those games and they could make a lot more money.

We loved the hotel and have stayed here a couple times, excellent staff, always been a great time!! This year when we came up for a karate tournament with three kids and three adults, our car was stolen from the parking lot. We found out this happens from time to time there and there are break-ins ... there are no cameras in the lot. I run a business and if my clients were parking in a lot connected to my business that had break-ins and car thefts, I would be definitely be addressing that problem even though it's considered to be a city lot. Staff were very nice about it, but there wasnt much they could do... we ended up trying to rent a car and the car place said they had one we reserved then got there and they didn't... then we got an Uber who was going to drive us to the airport and ended up bringing us all the way home and hour and 20 minutes away! So he saved the day not leaving us stranded in the cities! Thank you Sam! Highly recommend this car service!! But not sure I would ever stay at the Hilton again knowing all the problems with their lot.

The room and the location are good. But the service is one of the poorest I have even received. I stayed in the hotel for 3 days. No one came to my room to clean the second day. No one came the day after and the trash can was full. I asked the front desk. I was told that I have to order a service if I like to get the room cleaned. I have lived in tens of hotels before. From 2-star to 5-star. This is the first time a hotel does not provide room service unless you order one. And this is a 4-star hotel! Unbelieveable.

Hosted an event here recently with attendees from all over the US and Canada and if not for the excellent service of the floor banquet staff(shout out to Mike) and encore AV technician (Cha), I would score lower than 3 stars. The plated lunches were both the worst and most expensive we've ever seen in 18 years of hosting this event all over the US. Hosting an event like this requires attention to detail, especially for many attendees with disabilities, and those details were not executed very well and in a few cases not attended to at all. And to all Hotel Managers out there (not singling out the Hilton) the next time you renovate a few floors of your facility, add zero entry showers at a minimum. People who use wheelchairs should have full access to a bathroom...who besides little kids take a bath in a hotel anyway?

  • 3/5 Charles S. 4 months ago on Google
Great location in the heart of the city! You can get to anywhere around metropolitan Minneapolis/St Paul within minutes. The lobby is beautiful and updated. The lobby will have you fooled though thinking that the rooms are updated. The rooms are old and not cleaned up to par. We had to switch rooms because the original room was dusty and the bathroom was dirty! There aren't microwaves in the rooms and the fridge is just there to keep things barely chilled. You can find one microwave located in the lobby's Starbucks. The front desk people are helpful and they will try their best to accommodate you. Parking is high especially when you are parking in the Hiltons' parking lot. Minor updates need to occur to bring this location to the new age!

Absolutely perfect location. In walking distance for everything, restaurants, the river walk, target. Pet friendly hotel. Decent size rooms. Pool stays open late. Very busy hotel but sound proof walls. Once on your room you hear nothing. Definitely would book again

everything was great for my visit during pride weekend June 22-25. i paid for a suite upgrade for my friends and i. everything was perfect except there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom for when you shower to collect the steam. staff was friendly and efficient! emmenities were 10/10! thanks for the great stay and i hope to stay with your hotel someday again in the near future!

My husband and I stayed here for a concert over the weekend. While the room was clean and the beds were as comfortable as hotel beds can be.... The staff checking us in was clearly tired or overworked. She was not friendly at all. Our room - the bottom sheets weren't tucked under the bottom mattress, leaving them to pull up with just the bare mattress. There was no info packet in the room at all....the ones that usually list room service, check out times, etc. Nothing. Half of the lamps were unplugged upon entry to the room. It was fine to sleep there but a Country Inn has more friendly staff and information than we had with our stay. Was not worth the money.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The room and common areas were spotless with ice cold AC on tap and a super comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and parking a breeze under the hotel with escalators to reception. I'm on a cross country road trip and this was, hands down, my best accommodations.

This is a standard member of the Hilton chain. No surprises. Excellent service. Standard rooms with mini fridge and coffee maker. Maid service is still available. They have a nice lobby bar and restaurant with a good fast service take out restaurant as well (think Starbucks).

Great service and rooms. They let us check in early and that helped us a ton. We will be looking at Hilton's more now in the future after this great experience. Sean and the young women with the cool pink braids (sorry I don't remember her name) at the front desk were both amazing. Thank you.

My husband and I stayed at this location in the beginning of December, as I had a business trip. The staff was above and beyond amazing...the hotel was constantly cleaning to ensure a beautiful atmosphere...the food was AMAZING...and our view was breathtaking. Needless to say, we wish that it was closer, as we would definitely return for an impromptu getaway.

Every single employee that I interacted with was very nice and treated me with courtesy and respect, I felt very valued and appreciated. My room had an excellent view and was very spacious, no complaints at all. I definitely will come back!

Gorgeous lobby with spaced out seating groups and an attached restaurant. All problems I had with it were mainly attributed to the conference I was there for. Rooms were slightly dated and a teensy bit dirty. Otherwise good quality rooms for the size and location of the hotel. Worked well for us. No fans in bathroom- had to keep the door closed after showers as not to steam up rooms. Gorgeous view. [ALSO- ALL 3 MAIN FLOOR BATHROOMS ARE GORGEOUS. I liked the third floor's green, gray and granite accents.]

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights for a trade show at the convention center. The location was just about perfect, as there were plenty of nearby restaurants and a short walk to the convention center. Although I did not use it, this Hilton was connected to the convention center via sky bridge. Now to the reasons for my low rating. Keep in mind this is a Hilton. No bottled water in the room. Wifi that does not stay connected. No business center. I was directed to the Fed Ex store upstairs where I had to pay to use the computer. I'll be staying at a Best Western that has all these amenities and free hot breakfast. Please don't use Covid regulations as an excuse for not having these services. The final straw was the unfriendly, non caring front desk agent. I'm not going to name names though I should. This middle aged, slim, curly hair woman, couldn't manage to fake a smile while checking me out. She was miserable looking. Management, I think you know who I'm talking about. She needs another job and it shouldn't be the face of the company.

This is not a four star hotel. The place is not in horrible shape but is very bland and boring. The shower head has buildup on it so it doesn’t spray evenly. The trash cans are for some reason designed so it is almost impossible to fit trash in them. The toilet lid hinges are rusty. There is no microwave in the room. There is no room service. We’re here during a blizzard and huge slabs of snow keep falling and hitting the ledge outside our window making a loud slamming noise (seems like a bad design). It’s really closer to a three star hotel. It’s not the worst, but definitely overpriced for what it is.

  • 2/5 Kaiyana B. 1 year ago on Google
Let me first say that the location is wonderful but it's kind of misleading in the rooms. No microwaves($15 a nite) and I'm just out done that my mattress feels like the "sunken place" it's 50 years old and to top it all off I don't have a duvet. I have a flat sheet on top of a old beige looking comforter. I just don't know I'm not used to rooms like this. I stayed in cheaper hotels that had far better linen and mattresses. I think they need to invest and some new mattresses and comforters and duvets that will be very good. That is my recommendation. I can't think of the other hotel that starts with a M but that's where I should have stayed

The food Manager does not understand customer service. To share with the table how much the bar makes a day, to raise her voice at the adults, to put off the children by being aggressive towards them, is all in poor taste. We would have spent A LOT more money if the staff was reasonably accommodating.

  • 5/5 Jon W. 10 months ago on Google
I really enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights. The lobby and bar service was excellent. My only complaint would be that my room did not receive cleaning service for 3 straight nights. But this hotel is very clean and I would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5 J C. 10 months ago on Google
Parking was easy on the weekend. The hotel rooms are incredibly clean and no signs of anything gross when you lift the mattress or look under the bed. I was super impressed with the cleanliness even in the corners of the bathroom under the cabinets. The staff were very helpful and checking in/out was easy. I'd stay here again in downtown Minneapolis in a heartbeat.

Couldn’t beat the location, the views and the service. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed unwinding at the bar downstairs for a drink. I uploaded a few photos with my review. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Stayed 2 nights in the hotel, overall good experience checking in, nice staff in the restaurant, but the eggs were a little wet for my taste, and the potatoes seemed pretty hard still… And then when we were getting out of the shower (2 hours before checkout) we were greeted with a housekeeper trying to come into our room! Good thing we had the lock on otherwise she would’ve seen us exposed

Me and my friend stayed here on 8/12-8/13. The room was cozy, the beds and pillows were amazing! Only complaints I have is on Sunday as I was sleeping my friend told me that on the TV when you turn it on it said my name and gave the time of checkout. It said checkout is at noon. I woke up which was around 9ish and wanted to verify this so I called down and talked to Kevin "at the front desk", I was polite and said hey my TV said checkout says noon is this correct? He said no it is not correct it's 11am. I said well my TV says noon. He then proceeded to tell me that it must be a TV glitch because it's 11am and he'll tell someone. Second one is we ordered breakfast to be delivered to our room at 9:15am and it was getting to be 10 so I called down to "room service" and again Kevin answered the phone. I said hey Kevin this is so and so in room 1742 I just talked to you and we just ordered breakfast and were wondering if we can just take it to go? All he responded with was I don't know you'll have to come down and ask the receptionist! I felt this to be very tacky! I just spent $276.00 on a room at your hotel, $58.00 on breakfast. You work in hospitality, to help the people that stay in this hotel that YOU work for! He made no effort to help me with anything I called and asked about. Hilton! You need to correct that please, people spend good money to stay in a nice hotel and expect your employees to be able to answer questions that your customers have.

Worst Hilton experience in a long time and I am a Diamond member so I stay often in hotels. Room wasn’t ready at check-in time which was inconvenient since we had to park a ways away since the nearest parking ramp was full. Said would text when the room was ready — didn’t. Offered free breakfast for the trouble but I had already booked a rate that included breakfast. And hotel apparently doesn’t launder regularly since they ran out of pool towels and said they would not refill them. Elevators are horribly slow. Have had better experiences at a Super 8 so beginning to rethink my loyalty and Hilton honors Diamond status

We definitely walked away with mixed feelings the service was good at times.. But the room was not the cleanest we found alcohol bottles from a previous person in our room there was dried blood on the comforter and the other comforter had what looked like pee on it.. the floors weren’t really vacuumed. It definitely made us not want to stay here again parking was nice until we made a quick stop for an hour and got charged the full over night fee of $16 and were told the hotel didn’t own the parking garage so it was on us no apologies just that they did not own it and it wasn’t their problem.. for being a Hilton it was not what I expected.
