My first time here. I’ll definitely visit again. Went around 7am. Everyone was pleasant and the food was delicious. I love banana nut bread so went with the banana nut french toast. My friend had the pancakes. I had some chicken sausage links which were good. We had some orange juices and coffee to go. The inside was great. Bar area, outside, and inside seating. They sell their own plants and T-shirt’s as well as other things. Great establishment.

Good breakfast/brunch spot! Always busy so the atmosphere is fun. Food is okay. It tastes good after a few Mimosas but in general its very under seasoned. The servers are nice… but could use some training. They were confused about everything we asked. Including ordering a beer and extra eggs 😂 Ordering was difficult to say the least.

Super fun place with a great atmosphere and large portions. I recommend coming for breakfast and enjoying one of their massive omelettes. They don’t have dedicated parking, so prepare to look for a spot on the street and feed the meter. It’s worth the venture.

We were able to get in quick and enjoy a really great meal. Definitely suggest sharing the cinnamon roll as it is quite large. The entree’s were a good size as well and were delicious. The only downfall was that it took a while for us to get water but we had ordered other drinks which we thankful already had.

I have eaten here a few times. The service and food has remained very good. Our waiter on our last visit was super. He was attentive and ensured we were satisfied with the service and out meal. Multiple visits for us and based on the consistency, we will go back.

So much good about this place. Friendly staff, amazing food (berry cinnamon rolls). Can't wait to come back on Saturday!

Super great place. At 9:00am. on a Sunday, it was busy, and a long line was formed outside. Walked inside to hostess stand, and there was no waiting for table outside. How phenomenal is that? Fate. Anyway, server came by pretty promptly and took our drink order. Note: menu is large & full of items to choose from. Espresso drinks were good, nothing super fancy. Server was super polite with a smile on her face, very helpful, & gave us her recommendation. She always came at the right times to check on us. Breakfast was delicious! Caramel Roll was warm and gooey, and the main breakfast meal was amazing. Will probably feed me for another 2 days. Definitely will go back! They do serve lunch as well, so will check back here to review that in the future.

I’ve eaten at many breakfast places in the cities and this is by far the best place I’ve eaten at. A great menu selection that makes me want to come back and try more things. Their variations of cinnamon rolls make me want to try them all. I had the berry cinnamon one and it was amazing. I’m sure they are crazy busy on the weekends but a Tuesday morning was the perfect day to pop in and try it out. Also probably the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had in the cities so far. It wasn’t perfect but it was still damn good. Oh and hash browns that didn’t need ketchup?? Now that’s impressive.

Go for the food, not the alcohol. The breakfast dishes are classic comfort food, with everything from indulgent pastries and cakes to fresh and healthy omelettes. Order to go at the counter or wait for a table. Wait times were generally shorter than the estimate given by the host. Parties of 2 were seating in less than 20 minutes most of the time, parties with over 4 were seating in less than 40 minutes. There's a waiting area in back but seating is extremely limited - not great for those with limited physical abilities. The mimosas were the only real disappointment - they were extremely bitter/sour and neither of us had more than a sip. We didn't try a Bloody Mary, but they have 3 different options that might be better.

Every once in awhile I stumble in a destination restaurant. Now, I love breakfast. This place has some of the best breakfast, at least in the state. Day 1 was oatmeal and basic eggs and bacon. Scratch made jam on English muffin. Perfect and simple. Day 2 I went all in on the Biscuits and gravy. That was a home run. Slight peppery taste with other seasonings. Very creamy and the ultra soft biscuits. Oh and the coffee is great too. Add in all the xtra trappings and you have a must eat at restaurant in the heart of Minneapolis.

First time coming across chicken and waffles that are gluten free! Was so excited to try them, and they didn’t disappoint. I’m still thinking about this meal. Considering making a trip to the cities again to enjoy. Highly recommend. I will be getting again when I come visits, even though they have lots of great options! Aw I love this place. Update/Edit: Went back!! It was as good as last time. Really hit the spot for us. Good food, good drinks, overall good time. Will probably go back when I’m in town again, and maybe try a chicken sandwich next time!!

What a great breakfast spot. Very cool atmosphere. Pretty popular spot, weekends line is out the door so get there early. The staff was very friendly and the food was outstanding. Good way to spend a Sunday morning!

Awesome breakfast! The food was delicious, filling, but not super greasy or heavy. The cinnamon roll is a must try! Enjoyed a few beverages as well…both good. No reservation and were seated right away.

This is a perfect spot for breakfast! the parking could be challenging so I recommend visiting on an early morning. The dessert display is phenomenal and very temping. I gave into that temptation and ordered a lemon bar which was delicious. The Chilaquiles are a must - we ordered both red and green.

I'm quite not sure why this place receives such high reviews. Yes, you get this farm-to-table feel with a focus on chicken. But I feel its more show than substance. Let's break this down. Location is execellent in downtown. Loved the outdoor patio. Interior and decor lived up to the "hen" theme and adequate for a breakfast-focused joint. But what has to be true in such a location is the food. Waffle + Chicken - The chicken had a bit too much batter but meat was soft. However, the waffle was an absolute disgrace. Felt like cardboard without soul. Cinnamon Roll Pancakes - this was supposedly the flagship. Yes, it does taste like a cinammon roll but not in an "authentic" way. Imagine the most synthetic flavor powder and it tastes just like that. Absolutely souless. Eggs and sausages were sides but was solid. On a good day, I think it'd be 3 stars. But the fact that the atmosphere hypes up expectations, absolutely doesn't live up to the crowd.

I really liked my country fried steak and eggs. We loved the place-cute merchandise and good food. We were a bit disappointed at first that they somehow seated other people under my name. We were right next to the stand, too. Otherwise it was great.

Street parking is available. Place is pretty spacious with a lot of tables so I didn’t have to wait for a table. The tables are pretty tight so if you were unlucky like me got seated with a toddler next to you, you’ll feel every little pound/kick. Was greeted right away by the server and got our drinks. My mug had a crack on the top part where I would sip out of so I requested for it to be transferred to a new mug and the server did it without a question. Our order was taken and I just mentioned I was splitting my Crab-Baby Eggs Benedict and it came out already split for me without asking. It was DELICIOUS! My sister got the Hen House Omelet and it was too sweet for my taste. I took a bite and couldn’t eat anymore.

Great place! Super service. My only issue was that my over medium eggs weren’t done, the whites were not cooked. Other than that, everything was really good. The Chorizo breakfast bowl was good, but the chorizo had a different flavor, not necessarily bad, just not what we’re used to. They also had a bakery case so we got carrot cake and coconut delight, to go, both of those were delicious as well!

first time there yesterday on the fourth of July. incredibly busy but not a long wait at all. Delicious food and great service. And the bakery case had so many options as well!! we sat at the counter which was a cool experience. Loved the energy. The shop is cute, too. Bathrooms are also very clean.

Nice spot for brunch. Large diner like menu with cocktails to boot! Large inside and outdoor seating. Service is good and keeps up with the crowd. COOP burger was great as well as the French toast and tostada breakfast.

Expansive downtown breakfast place with lots of good bakery items prepared there. We had a caramel roll that delivered. This is a very popular joint, especially with sporting and convention crowds. They were definitely moving folks in and out quickly and accommodation groups as big as 13! Cocktails are available. The staff was excellent in managing all the patrons with a smile.

Visited for the first time for a birthday brunch and had a good experience. Our server was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. Ordered a variety of things including the southern waffle, pancakes, kitchen sink omelette, the carnitas hash, and the banana bread French toast. Everything tasted really good. Only down side was that the lemonade was watered down.

If you're looking for a good breakfast go nowhere else. This place is absolutely top tier from service to staff to time. The place was jam packed and we only waited about 15 minutes til we sat at the bar and the food was just incredible. Definitely recommend, can't go wrong stopping here for the most important meal of the day!

We visited Minneapolis for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. This was a highly recommended tourist spot brunch and drinks. The team and parents went for brunch before our big game. A long wait, but at the end of the day, I believe it was worth it. The service was friendly, warm, and fast. We got our food at a decent time and was able to make the game in time. The food was delicious a lot of variety and drinks, however, it was too early for me to drink, lol! Very upbeat and fun atmosphere right in the Minneapolis downtown district area.

Came here for breakfast and the food was great! We also got strawberry shakes which I would highly recommend. However, it was not worth the hype, the staff was very friendly but breakfast for two totaled to about $60.

Conveniently located in Downtown, this is a must for breakfast if you are in the area. We stumbled across it on Google and decided to give it a try. It was a sunny Saturday morning and it was packed. There were hordes of people waiting to be seated when we walked up. I’m not sure if this is because it is that popular or if it’s because so many people were in town for The Eras tour. I was pleasantly surprised when our wait for a seat ended being less than 15 minutes. The service was great, especially being as that it was packed inside and they seemed somewhat short on staff. The food was to die for. I had the Crabby Baby Eggs Benedict and the Cajun hollandaise is what made it. The hash-browns were both crispy and velvety, which I don’t know how they achieved. My partner had an omelette and it was big enough for 2 meals at the very least. I tasted a bite and it too was wonderful. The breakfast cocktails looked incredibly appetizing, but we didn’t get around to trying them. We also didn’t get a chance to try any of the mouthwatering items from their bakery, and I have major regrets about that. If I’m ever back in Minneapolis, I’ll be back here for breakfast first thing.

We really enjoyed our breakfasts there but service was a little slow but the food was good. The view was relaxing as the snow flurries passed. Espresso drinks were good but coffee was meh.

Hen House was a cute little brunch spot. Absolutely loved the Salted Caramel Latte. The Irish Cream Cold Brew was okay, definitely need to mix it when you get it. Pictured are the Crab Baby Eggs Benedict and Corned Beef Hash. Overall, pretty good but a little pricey. Our server was awesome! The menu should be up-to-date on their website so you should be able to view beforehand!

What a wonderful experience! The Foxy Benedict was my first veggie patty Benedict. The spinach pesto was chunky and not wet, english muffin was perfect, eggs perfect, just delicious. The blueberry cream cheese cinnamon roll was an easy sell, the waiter was so friendly. The restaurant is super comfortable and the food was delicious and fast. I'd return again next time we are downtown Minneapolis.
