I expected a better service for the price we paid. Our rooms weren’t cleaned once while we were there and when we made a specific request for the room to be cleaned…it still wasn’t !! We had to wait by the bar after a very long day for someone to clean the room. Utterly ridiculous. Won’t be staying again. Bar staff however were lovely.

I am happy that my company paid for this. Would not pay that price considering what you get. Staff is not friendly. Every question I asked, they looked at me if I was an idiot. Most basic room amenities. Shower was leaking. Could not find information about the hotels services anywhere, neither in the room, nor on the website. Room service unavailable when called. They say breakfast starts at 7 am. Was there 7:10 am, and had to wait 20 min for someone to show up. Restaurant is overpriced. Maybe this hotel is made for more upscale people than me, but you could at least try to treat me like your other fancy guests. Had better experience in some motels. The only upside is the cleaning staff that does a fantastic job!

I booked the grand king room with a spa tub! I was pleasantly surprised by a t.v. over the tub and a phone in the bath area. The staff was very courteous and professional and I also enjoyed the FREE valet parking.

This Loews is doing the bare minimum. Front desk barely acknowledges you and everything seems slow. Cleanliness was hit or miss, we often times walked past garbage left on the console tables by the elevators for a day or more. The room appeared clean, was bare minimum also but was a good size and shower had good water pressure - hence the 2 stars.

My 2 daughters and daughter in law reserved a suite to celebrate a milestone birthday and girl’s night out. I called the hotel to have a bottle of champagne in their suite upon arrival. After several calls and a rude operator, I was not able to accomplish this small request. In fact, the operator said he might be able to do this, but would put the charge on the guest bill. Seriously? A four star hotel?

This is a great hotel. The location is amazing. You are across the street from the Target Center and one block from Target Field. You can walk about 10 minutes to the river walk area. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We will be back next year. Pro Tip: If you don't want to pay $50 for valet, you 730 1st Ave N Garage pay $12 self-service parking at the 730 1st Ave N Garage.

Location is great for a game at Target Field or Center. Wasn't as updated as I expected based on other reviews. For the price I would go somewhere else, doesn't give you the "higher" end feel they make it seem online. No where easily right at hotel to get water/amenities. Self parking was breeze and valet was friendly. Front desk wasn't as friendly.

So, this is supposed to be a higher end hotel. Don't be fooled. Initially I was in room 803 with sight lines of the air conditioning systems on the roof just next door. The buzz kept me restless all night. The next day I requested a change. Now, room 1616 was totally fine. Quite, airy, bright all the things you expect. Even the shower system was better -- multiple body sprays versus one in the lower level room. So the disparate room situation aside the doorman at night is a nightmare to deal with. A simple question begets sarcasm and riddles. Asked if I could park on the street overnight, he told me to read the sign. I did. Again, is it legal to park on the street, I'm not from here and the sign only says to feed the meter between certain hours. In Chicago, street parking is tricky. It takes a native to interpret. Finally I decide to park for free just outside the hotel doors and pay the meter starting at 8am. I saved that $50/night hotel parking fee. He was speechless when I approached the hotel with my room key to enter. Terrible. I wouldn't stay there again no matter how discounted the rate is. The Keurig didn't work. The shower has peeling tape (room 803), the very old bathroom TV doesn't work and I'm still not sure why it's situated opposite the toilet, but that's another story. Oh, and Room 803 had broken glass in the bathroom when I checked in. Housekeeping had to come clean it up. This place is a mess.

The front desk was just awful when I checked in and when I came back later. I had asked about a card not present form due to the company paying and was met with a combative, snooty attitude. I came down later to see if an item had been delivered for me, and I was told, "I don't know, why don't you look for yourself?" Then there was the room, which I didn't complain about because I figured they'd just be even worse. The light was falling out of the ceiling. The shower head was broken, the wallpaper was coming down in the shower, and the tile was not flat. The glass by the toilet was cracked as well. The chair needed to be replaced 2 years ago. It's not what I expected out of this hotel. Friends got a much nicer room. The front desk just didn't like me, I guess. The restaurant was great, and I left a review reflecting that on their page. The food was fantastic and the service was great. I should note that they cleaned the room every day and restocked even the bar soap daily. That was great.

The hotel itself is very modern and the rooms spacious. The showers are especially nice! They have a restaurant and a bar that didn't seem very busy the day / night we were there. The same for breakfast at the restaurant. Some of the seating in the restaurant could definitely be replaced as they were falling apart. It has a weird set up as it is open to the public to connect to other areas / restaurants so there is a public elevator to the fourth floor and then a hotel guest only elevator from there. The staff were super nice and always looking to make sure we had a good experience. The views were what you could expect for being right in the middle of downtown. Cool to see at night though! The only downside was we had to pay a TON for parking as it only has a public ramp. Not sure if there are cheaper options we didn't know about.

This hotel was excellent! We stayed here to watch a Timberwolves game and the skywalk to the target center made the visit so much easier! We never had to go out into the cold which was a bonus! Our view was great and the room was clean and beautiful! The beds were super comfy, I don't usually like staying at hotels because of the beds being uncomfortable but these were great! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We used the valet to make things easier I believe it was around $50 for the night. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we visit!

I had a very good experience being this was my first time staying at Loews. The room was very very nice and quiet. Having a couple drinks in your lounge I found the bartender very friendly and made sure my glass was full.

Very nice rooms, Clean and well stocked. Excellent location for events at Target center. In house food was ok but the options were extremely limited.

I love the rooms I love the location. The manager sometimes acts like he doesn’t want to respect the guests that come in. He actually always has a attitude and it’s the same guy every time but other then that it a pretty cool spot.

They lockdown the heater/air conditioner so the room was very hot. It has been this way the last two times that I have stayed here. I will no longer stay here and who puts a tv in the bathroom these days. Maybe they should have used the money for the bathroom TV and spend it on letting the guest actually set the temp of the room.

The location is excellent. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Room service was delicious. The room was standard. It needs routine maintenance. Light bulbs were out and furniture had major wear and tear. I expected more from the Loews brand.

Very nice, clean quiet, and safe hotel. If you are planning on parking a vehicle here, select the park and stay package due to parking costing $50 a night otherwise. We had already selected an upgraded package and then were talked into upgrading even further when we checked in, but were never offered parking in our package or even a discount.

Was in town for work and stayed here. Space was walkable to a number of food and entertainment spaces in downtown (First Ave, theater row, Target Center, Target Field, etc.). Staff was friendly and helpful. Mobile/Texting checkout feature was easy and simple.

This hotel is beautiful and well maintained! The staff in the Cosmos bar in the evening (Angel, Rose, and Greg) were so wonderful and great to talk to. The valet staff was superb!! The breakfast staff was attentive and the food was delicious! The entire facility was clean- housekeeping staff does a great job!! I was so impressed with how friendly and helpful every staff member was! Everyone was very professional!

Hotel is in downtown Minneapolis. Great location and you can walk to the Target Center sheltered from the cold through connecting bridges. Close to the theatre district as well as plenty of restaurants. Rooms are clean and bed is solid. Hotel does not provide water in the rooms. You'll have to go to Cosmos restaurant on the fourth floor to buy water at $5 pet bottle. There are two sets of elevators to get to your room, you will need to take the first set to the fourth floor and walk around the corner to a second set where you will need a key card to access your floor.

The Loews Minneapolis hotel was great. The location was awesome, great resteraunts, pubs, and entertainment practically across the street and not more than a block from the hotel. The staff were very kind, helpful and courteous. I would stay there again. If you need a great place to stay in Minneapolis, you should try it as well.

Though more expensive than would be perfect, the value was great- we would absolutely stay here again. Would be nice if you didn't have to pay extra to park on site. The ramp was $23 overnight (cheaper than the$50 hotel valet offer!) Spacious bathroom, comfortable king room. Expensive, but good food and great service for breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

Gorgeous rooms and cool views. Bar was really nice and drinks were quite affordable. Would definitely stay here again when attending an event at target center since it's right across the street

This was a beautiful hotel and the staff were very helpful and amazing! Our room was gorgeous and we loved every minute of our stay there. I ordered room service and they told me it was going to take a little while but within like 20 minutes they were already there.

I stayed here for work. The hotel is beautiful, clean and quiet. I ordered a few meals from the restaurant and everything I ordered was really good. I did have 2 issues when I was here which is worth 1 star from this review. 1 - my room key didn’t work. I had to have maintenance come to fix my door so I could enter. I was exhausted from being in a snow storm so this was not ideal. 2 - my heating unit would kick on with such a book it woke me up all night. By the 2nd day I got used to it and slept through it but it was not ideal. The other concern is that there is no free parking, but the advantage is the parking is covered so no cleaning off snow. The parking garage is also connected to the hotel so its very convenient. This hotel was very clean and with great service. I would gladly stay here again.

I did the mobile check in at 4:15. Got to the hotel close to 5:30. Was told our 2 queen bed room wasn't ready. The gracious host offered to "upgrade" our room to a single king and wave the fee for a roll a way bed. Here's the issue, there's 4 of us, hence why I reserved a room with 2 beds. AND, according to the website, a single king room is less expensive than a 2 queen. So how is this an upgrade?! Not to mention the bed was honestly comparable to sleeping on the floor.

You can not go wrong staying at this hotel. The staff is great, front desk great service, valet is beyond great, the bartender Angel he is wonderful , he gives great advice and helps u stay safe... I miss the spa but that's OK I will just go over to Ivy hotel where Bess is the best, or the Four Seasons spa is excellent 👌..... So if you would like to be close to 1st Ave, Target center this is where u want to stay, the Loews hotel .... They have become like family to me, very personalized service once they get to know you.

It was a beautiful hotel but they were also hosting professional soccer players and we did not feel we were treated like we were as important as the other guests. We arrived for our honeymoon, which was noted in the reservation by our travel agent and we didn't even hear a congratulations from the staff. I would not say that anything was bad, it was a lovely hotel overall but for 4 star accommodations, we will book elsewhere in the future.

Service? Rooms? Location? All were pretty good. The four nights I spent here was a great experience. The food, the room design and accommodations, the fitness center--all were above my expectations. But, one thing that absolutely ruined this experience was having to deal with an erroneous charge for months over a four-day stay. I was charged a far higher rate than the rate I had on my booking when I reserved the hotel six months back. And even then, the billing department is unresponsive. I was visiting MN for a conference and my colleague was charged the correct rate, while here I am dealing days on end with a charge surplus. Unpleasant experience.

The building and room were very clean and had a luxurious and professional atmosphere. It was the perfect location for my girlfriend and I, as we went to a show at First Ave that night. It was very convenient only having to cross one street to get there. The building is also attached to the Mayo Clinic Square parking ramp, which makes bringing your bags in and out much easier. The front desk staff and housekeeping were all very friendly and made us feel at home here. On top of this, we had a corner room which had a beautiful view of the city skyline. We will definitely be back the next time we stay in Minneapolis!
