Scheduled a simple office visit to get a simple procedure that should have been able to be done in office. Dr. Baumgarten referred me to a surgery center so I could spend thousands instead with anesthesia. The office visit was a waste of time and it took him all of 5 minutes once I waited 30 minutes to be seen. All that and I was charged $368 for 5 minutes of the doctors time and my issue didn’t even get resolved.

Dr. Michaels was up to date on my past history and helped me find the next step for my issues.

Dr. HANSON was compassionate, explained my situation completely and performed appropriate tests quickly and painlessly.

Waiting to get in for my appt but I’m kind of irritated that I have something that could possibly be cancerous (Urethral diverticulum) and it’s taking them almost 3 months to get me in. Seems like something that should be seen as urgent but I guess I have to wait. Was also told most of their doctors don’t see what I have so I have to wait to see a doctor who can…that’s not very comforting.

After one year of too many to count UTI and after seeing my two primary dr and a male Urologist Dr Michael finally told my vagina ph balance was off and I needed estrogen and this was probable the reason for the recurring UTI . … no Dr mentioned this before and just gave me an antibiotic for the UTI ..

Dr. Michaels is excellent! She is informative about what is being done and makes sure that I understand. She always seems to remember me on a personal level and I am down to seeing her once a year. Makes you feel good as a patient!

It was a a 2 1/2 hour snow storm drive in from shakopee but well worth the drive when I got there. I was on time and led right in to prep for Dr. Michaels. It was a ver nice experience and she is my favorite doctor!

If you are late for reasons such as, map quest puts you to the wrong building, then your car gets blocked in by police outside of the ER, you walk to the right place even tho you are handicapped, then to have Dr Michels say NOPE sorry, I guess she’s too important for me. Will find a more people friendly office

Dr. Streitz completed the exam with care. After the exam he explained all options in dealing with this problem. We agreed on a course of action. The doctor was caring, patient, and spoke to me in terms I understood. I will see him in 6 months and I feel very comfortable with his care.

I saw Dr. Hanson for a consult for a vasectomy. He was extremely professional, he explained the procedure including the multiple things they do to make sure it "takes", and he answered all questions I had without making me feel rushed. This included speaking to the couple times he's seen complications and how he addressed them, as well as me asking about his experience performing this procedure - if I recall correctly, he's performed well over 800 of these as of when I saw him. He was not offended by me asking these things, which I view as a good sign, and the answers he gave as well as the understanding manner in which he responded put me at ease about the procedure. I have every confidence in Dr. Hanson for my upcoming procedure.

I was very pleased with my first visit to Jody Michaels at Minnesota Urology. She was very attentive and informative. She was very professional. She explained things completely and clearly so that I know what I can expect from my condition.

She is very thorough, is receptive to all my questions and has helped me understand what is going on. I would highly recommend her, especially with women's issues.

My recent visit with Dr Michaels and Kate was so encouraging. First of all my InterStim implant is working great. I was encouraged if I have any questions to not hesitate making an appointment or contacting the office. The staff is so kind and caring.

Rarely do I give out 5 stars because I don't think anyone is perfect but this time I'll do it. No delay in the waiting room or exam room. Love that Dr. Michaels is so clear in explaining things, answers questions, takes the time necessary and follows up with phone calls when she needs to. Bonus is that in my circumstance she wanted another opinion from her partners on my case and knew to ask for it. Anyone that knows they need another set of eyes to look at something is top notch in my book.

I have been treated really, really well... and effectively at Minnesota Urology. The staff is very helpful to begin with. Dr Hanson, specifically is friendly, energetic, and has prescribed me a course of action that has helped relieve my health challenges.

From start to finish the doctors and staff @ Minnesota Urology handled my issue quickly and effectively making sure my pain was well managed throughout. Surgical appointments were very difficult to come by yet they still found a way to get me in within a couple days. I had no post surgical issues and was provided clear instructions to go home with. I recently had to have a visit with Dr. Streitz of Minnesota Urology due to a kidney stone that was too big to pass. He was very straight forward in explaining what my options were and the pros and cons to each option. Then he let me decide without any pressure to pick one over the other. His professional demeanor was very reassuring for a new patient who has never had to deal with this issue before.

If you are looking for a urologist I would highly recommend Dr. Hanson with Minnesota Urology. My whole experience was outstanding from the receptionist who responded with patience and professionalism to my request to get in early, to the MA who did the intake and especially to Dr. Hanson. He was engaging, confident, knowledgeable and personable. He inspired a lot of confidence.
