When my grandmother passed away, my grandpa gave me her wedding ring. You can image what kind of shape it was in after 62 years of marriage. I had taken it to a place and was told it would cost an arm and a leg to fix, so I put it away in a safe place. After three years had come and gone my husband said lets take it somewhere else. I was finally able to find a place that understood how much her ring meant to me . Gittelson had helped me with my own wedding ring and we thought why not see what they could do for us. When I brought it to them I was blown away with what they said they could fix it for and how quickly they could get it done, that I actually cried. I even asked to hug them to thank them and yes we all hugged! They had my grandmother's ring fixed in less than a week! When I went to pick it up, I was shocked. It was brought back to life and shinning like the day they got married. They are so nice! I'm from out of town and came in for jewelry repair while on vacation. Gave me restaurant recommendations and told me who to ask for to get the best service. So happy I found them! Edit to add: They did incredible and fast work on my engagement ring, cleaned it, and got the diamonds replaced before my trip ended. My opal ring needed new tips so they kept it and sent it back to me in Michigan a few days later. Everything turned out so beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone!

Nothing but the best experiences since we custom designed my engagement ring five years ago. I recently had to have a different ring repaired and have my wedding set resized. Both times the service was wonderful, quick, and the pricing very reasonable. They are easy to locate in the skyway and I never struggle with finding parking in the Northstar ramp. Recently, my mother passed away and I inherited a couple of keepsakes in the form of rings. Both items held sentimental value and I wanted to wear them in memory of her. Well, in doing so, I misplaced one when it slipped off my finger. I had to find a solution, so this wouldn't happen again. In came my saving grace "Gettelson Jeweler"! I took my rings there to see if they had solid gold adjusters and they did. I also brought along some of my other jewelry that needed some TLC. Michael was AWESOME!!! He waited on me patiently and was genuinely a good person to work with since I share my concerns about how valuable the pieces were to me. They completed the work and I was so happy with the results!!! Needless to say, this is my go-to jeweler. They custom made my spouse's wedding ring in 2018 and we absolutely love it. I brought my own stones and the final estimated value was much more than they charged me. I'm very happy with the design experience too, they were great to work with and their design tastes were superb.

Awfully run business. I submitted an inquiry through the intake form on their website detailing that I was looking to get a clasp on a chain fixed. Auto message says somebody will get back to me. I don't hear anything for 3-4 days. I call in and ask to follow up on the inquiry. The person on the phone seemed vaguely familiar with the inquiry submission I was referencing and said it would be no problem just bring it in. I look up the store hours on the website which note 10-3pm Tue-Friday. I drive downtown, park, and get up the skyway where the store is located and arrive at 2:15 pm on Wednesday, Jan 11th - only to find that the store is completely closed down with doors locked and lights out. I call the phone numbers listed on the website and simply receive an automated voice messaging system. Very disappointed and a big waste of my time.

I went in to have my wedding ring repaired. It wasn't a big deal, just needed some soldering. What I got back was a repaired ring that had been buffed and shined to beyond new condition. I was very impressed! What REALLY struck me though was how well I was being treated for someone only spending $50. You would have thought I was buying a $10,000 diamond. Really good people, terrific service and results that are beyond expectations. I'll be going back for sure!

Gittelson Jewelers was recommended to me by a friend to have a ring (with sentimental value) fixed when a when two stones fell out. I was able to find the larger stone but the other smaller one was lost. Took the ring to Gittelson Jewelers and Michael Gittelson was was able to fix the one stone and find another beautiful, smaller stone to replace the lost one. Had Gittelson Jewelers not been so great (along with being so nice and kind!) I wouldn't be able to wear the ring. I have since recommended other friends to Gittelson's and they too have been so happy with the experience!
