Our first stay was okay (late Januray). The AC unit had a funky smell when it turned on, so we had to keep it off. The swivel chair was a nuisance as both my kids (8 and 3 yrs old) managed to hurt themselves. The place seemed clean though and the beds are comfortable so I booked again on our return trip in Februaury. Upon walking into the room it smelled stale and absolutely void of any chemical or fragrant clean smell. When it was time for bed we pulled the sheet back and found crumbs. I wondered if it could have been their detergent not washed out, but it seemed more like cracker crumbs. The night manager was apologetic and embarrassed. I believe he offered my husband another room, but the kids and our stuff was already settled. We asked for an extra set of clean sheets and made the bed ourselves. My morning shower discovered the conditioner was completely empty. This room was obviously haphazardly serviced. We were not compensated for our inconvenience. I'm not sure I want to book with them again next month, but there are not a ton of options in Dodge City, unfortunately.

Perfect location for all the historical sites for Dodge City. We parked our truck and walked everywhere while visiting the town. A Nice holiday Inn. Friendly staff, clean, tidy, nice decor. Rooms were great, again clean & tidy, fridge had freezer which is such a plus while we travel!! Breakfast was hot with good selections (like most/all of the Holiday Inns.

Stayed 4 nights. The only possible thing that I can think of would be if there had been fresher fruit (bananas and oranges) for breakfast. The bananas appeared to be overripe; otherwise we had a great stay! I wish that I could have given you 4 1/2 stars!

Pulled back the bed to find blood spots on the sheets. My husband went to the desk to ask for new sheets and they sent someone to change the bed. They offered us a new room but we had already settled in and the kids were ready for bed. The ladies promptly brought clean sheets but only changed the the fitted sheet. They wadded up the blood sheet and laid it on the pillows on the other bed which grossed me out as well. Very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness of the room. We also found a sock in the closet when we got here so I'm not sure if they are actually cleaning the rooms.

What a beautiful new hotel! Needed a place to stop for the night and wanted to check out the Boot Hill Museum. Everything was modern and spacious, from the room to the breakfast area. Service was great - everyone was nice and friendly.

The hotel is very well kept. Either new or very recently renovated. Spacious and clean room. Complimentary upgrade to a suite for IHG status, quiet hotel, comfy beds. Cons: The water pressure is below average. The bathrooms don't have ventilations.

As always the staff was very friendly and get you checked in pretty fast. Whenever you forget something they usually have a complimentary item available. The rooms are clean and stay comfortable on the setting of your choice (I like mine super cold) .Breakfast is typical of the chains so I chose to go elsewhere and the desk person sent me to a gem...

Chanteau, the desk clerk on duty when we arrived, is sharp as a box of tacks and 100% customer service oriented. I never saw anyone check guests in so efficiently!

We love Holiday Inn hotels but this one seemed just a bit neglected. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, breakfast not kept up with (though good selection of items), disgusting water (maybe a Kansas thing?), lack of staff. The hotel had the amenities you need and it’s a safe town, just needs a little more TLC here. If it’s a short stay, it’s a good enough price to stay here for the night. :-)

Stayed 1 night on our trip. We wanted to visit Dodge City and the HIE seemed to be in a good location. It was. Since our focus was the historic part of town we were able to walk where we wanted to go. Dinner, the museum, the town streets and the brewery. Plus this hotel is right next to the water park. The room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking. The breakfast was well stocked. This met our needs and was in line with the HI brand experience.

This was a very pleasant surprise! The hotel is a newer building, the location is one of the best, if not the best for the sights in the area. Our room was very clean, the halls and carpets appear new, the pool looked very clean. Checkin was quick and easy, parking was close, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The price was the icing on the cake, average rates, even on a holiday weekend for a stay that was far better than we have experienced on our frequent travels. My wife and l were very impressed!

Horrible stay! Room was to be ready for check in at 3pm… we couldn’t check in until after 6 pm! We were not accommodated for our inconvenience… We mistakenly walked out our room in the morning getting to our car in parking lot, realized we had left our binoculars on bedside table, went immediately back to front desk to get a key & explained we just checked out and left them in room.. was given key, but no sign of our binoculars. Maid was in hallway, we asked her about them, in her broken English she didn’t know.. went right back to front desk and complained of their dishonest staff. We hadn’t been checked out less than 15 minutes and they can walk off that quickly!! Horrible stay! Horrible!!

Last minute vacation (overnight trip) and they were ready, willing, and able to accommodate our needs! Pet (very) friendly, king-sized bed, military discount indoor pool, and breakfast!!! The staff were truly wonderful and very friendly and extremely polite. Close to main attractions, and a water park next door (like walk out and 100 yards to the water park entrance!!!) 10/10 staying here again!

The place is very nice and comfortable. The room was fairly large, had a decent amount of storage, and had a mini fridge (which I always appreciate). The shower seemed to be quite roomy and they have Dove products (not to take though). The WiFi was quick and they have free breakfast and it was actually pretty decent. Oh and if you’re traveling with kids or you just enjoy watermarks there’s one next door! It’s a bit pricey to me, but my mother and I enjoyed our overnight stay. I normally add pictures but the ones that are already there give a good sense of the place.

The locals like to rev their engines around this hotel. It's an unfortunate aspect of the location but it's great otherwise. Rooms were clean. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is ok. Bananas were past their prime for 3 days in a row. The market in the lobby is very fairly priced.
