This is a truly special, community-building, soul-nourishing place. I went to "Our Town" and not only was the play marvelous, the theater takes so many steps to make the experience feel special for everyone there (especially the monthly patrons who get access to a VIP room with complimentary food and drink). Every aspect of this place is so authentically heart-felt and so incredibly worth supporting. You have got to check out a play there and see what it's all about. Highly recommend.

My first time at Open Window Theatre was truly Amazing! My cousin and I were grateful for everyone who opened a door for us, smiled and were so thoughtful. We both had a pleasant time and enjoyed the play immensely. For those who arrive early for the show, they have board games, a pool table and a foosball table in the lobby. The concessions are available before the shows and during intermission. They have lovely decor, and the surroundings are relaxing as well. The stage was exquisitely designed. The acting was emotional and phenomenal!! Bravissimo to all who were apart of Mercy Unrelenting! The back stage workers timed everything perfectly between scenes. The lighting was quite effective as well. The music fit in with the play quite well. I have not seen such a tragic story portrayed in a play before. Despite the sadness, faith, hope and love prevailed. I am looking forward to watching another play in the near future!

Our first time at the theater, we saw Our Town the night before the opening performance. We were totally impressed with the caliber of the actors, the show was excellent. We live close by and will be back again. It was very comfortable, more spacious than I expected. The decor in the lobby area was interesting and who doesn’t like to shoot pool while you wait for the show to start? PLUS, free parking.

I believe in community theaters. I like the size and generally the talent is outstanding. This was not the case for Nicholas. I couldn't have been more bored and disenchanted with a playwright mess than I was this one. It lacked substance, flow, plausibility, artistic setting and talent. We will definitely not return if this is indicative of what might be presented at this venue. at this venue.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Wonderful concert and have attended great plays. The theater has intimate seating and great lighting and sound.

For the most part, I agree with the prior reviewer of the current production "Nicholas". Although I enjoyed the theatre, the actors and their performances, the script was truly awful, unbelievably boring and, simply, not engaging in any way. Holiday programs in churches do a better job. I've been to two programs at this theatre and they both had religious/christian focus or elements.

Open Window productions give inspiring role models for us to ponder. Intense, real-life problems are boldly addressed. And not merely addressed; but the problems are held up to hope, and to the realistic opportunity that change and healing is possible.

Staff are incredibly friendly, the production value of shows is exceptional (especially given the size of the company), and the main atrium has a nice ambiance for relaxing in before the show/during intermission. I just saw Dante's Inferno and was thoroughly impressed by the show.

Another five-star review! This theater is worth the travel, regardless of where you live. This is big-city quality entertainment on the edge of town.

This play is close to my heart. I've seen many, many productions, and this one is truly exceptional. Kari Steinbach's direction is pitch perfect. She is especially skilled at drawing out the humor inherent to the play and without which its profundity and poignancy cannot be fully realized. The cast is outstanding from top to bottom. There are no weak links! Do not miss this performance of one of the greatest American plays of the 20th century.
