Dental
services
have
been
very
good,
but
this
practice
failed
to
notify
us
that
their
providers
were
no
longer
in
our
dental
insurance
network
for
over
1-year
while
we
continued
to
see
their
dentists
for
our
two
kids
and,
unbeknownst
to
us,
were
being
charged
out
of
network
rates.
The
insurance
company
confirmed
that
it
is
the
dental
providers’
responsibility
to
notify
patients
when
their
providers
opt
out
of
insurance
networks.
Camp
Smile
is
claiming
that
it
is
the
insurance
company’s
responsibility.
EVERY
time
we
saw
one
of
their
providers,
they
asked
us
if
our
coverage
had
changed
(it
hadn’t)
and
they
failed
to
notify
us
that
their
providers
were
no
longer
in
our
network.
Now,
they’re
claiming
we
owe
them
for
the
difference
for
a
large
sum.
In
principle,
we
will
not
go
back
to
Camp
Smile.
They
haven’t
fulfilled
their
professional
responsibilities
and
knowingly
were
charging
us
out
of
network
rates
without
informing
us
that
their
dentists
chose
to
leave
our
insurance
network.
If
the
amount
was
greater,
we
would
be
engaging
our
attorney.
