Clinic didn’t test me for any STDs because they couldn’t get a vein and still inserted my iud, a week later I call because of nonstop bleeding they said it’s normal and take a pregnancy test. Two weeks later I go into a different planned parenthood because this one dismisses your symptoms. Turns out I have Pelvic inflammatory disease due to my iud being inserted with a chlamydia infection. Thanks planned parenthood!

Seriously amazing clinic, I scheduled an appointment through a phone call for emergency contraception and got in within the next 2 hours. This being my first time at planned parenthood it went better than expected, especially when looking for teen resources. The people at front desk were more than helpful and treated me no different than any other patient. I was called within 10 minutes of checking in, my nurse couldn’t have been nicer and patient with me. She went through the different options of emergency contraception with me and explain the similarities and differences. The process went smooth and quick, once it was over I was offered a snack and drink, as well as being checked up on multiple times. Great clinic, couldn’t recommend it more.

I just had the worst experience with this planned parenthood in specific. I called twice: the first time I got hung up on. Then the second time the nurse was making an effort to help me, but forgot to inform that they would be able to schedule somewhere else for sooner days. Although I am having symptoms of my IUD, which was inserted in this clinic. The fact that they wanted to make me wait 7 extra days although my condition needs to be addressed right now has me fuming. Please make your nurses and employee take a customer service course because they sure need it.

Had an appointment at 4pm, desk was great. Nurse was 20 late but wonderful. Had to wait over an hour twenty for the doctor, when I checked to see how long it was she couldn’t be bothered and didn’t seem like anyone’s time was valued but her own. I get it’s a clinic and things are busy, but if your doctor can’t get to a patient with a set appointment within an hour —book less appointments.

Everyone was so incredibly helpful and kind. From the security guard, receptionist, all the nurses, to the rest of staff. I didn’t meet a person I didn’t enjoy talking to. I have never been to a PP with security, and a door you have to check-in before getting in. Just needed my ID. a cool building in general. Felt safe and secure. Very gender affirming language used! All my questions were met with knowledgeable answers. Incredible bedside manner. I’m so glad I moved back to MN, and have access to such a great resource! Makes checkups less nerve wracking.

My insurance wasn’t working. They gave me a good faith estimate that was already astronomical for a simple test and then charged me $900 after the appointment when it was too late to refuse. They tear up the good faith estimate and therefore you can’t use it to contest the charge later. I told the nurse again and again that I wasn’t covered and please don’t add anything outside the basic package. Apparently getting your throat swabbed costs hundreds of dollars. This is not a company that is here to serve the public. I will never come back even with insurance.

I always get great care here when I am seen, but it’s not uncommon to have insane waiting times in the lobby with an appointment scheduled. What is the point of setting appointments when you can’t even be close to on schedule??? Today I spent the hour that I had before work waiting for an appointment that never came. I had an appointment scheduled for a shot that takes little to no time when I’m actually called back, but apparently being within 45 minutes of a scheduled appointment is too high of an expectation. I’m so frustrated. I won’t be able to reschedule this appointment for weeks. Just wonderful.

I’ve gone to planned parenthood for 20 years! I will NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! My daughter was 10 mins late for her appt, it was a 35 min drive from our house, but she needed the appt! She called and told them she was going to be a couple mins late, the roads are icy. They said that’s fine. Then when she got there they refused to see her! She needed this appt, she was in pain. Never again

It’s super expensive here for subpar medical care. I asked for an estimate to get tested for a possible yeast Infection and they said it’d be over $400. WTAH? And I had been coming here for my Pap smears and follow up colposcopies I needed, the last time was the worst. They asked if a student doctor could do it, I said yes (not easy to say no when they put you on the spot) and she was so slow it was so uncomfortable and painful! Go to a better doctor who can get these uncomfortable exams done more quickly. PP is only worth it if you’re low income and qualify for subsidized care and don’t have better options.

2 stars for front desk staff and the lady that took my blood pressure. After that I don't even know. I got there at 7pm for just a birth control refill appt and I'm pretty sure they forgot about me. The doctor didn't come in til 8:05 pm. They close at 8pm. Thankfully I didn't have to wait that long after seeing the Dr but that was an excessive amount of time waiting for just a refill.

Idk what people are complaining about high prices and long wait times for. I don't have insurance and most, if not all, of my BC, testing, etc has been free/very cheap. I've also never waited more than twenty /twenty-five minutes to be seen. I think people get confused with PP and an ER too. If you're in so much pain that you can't wait to be seen go to an ER.

I’ve had an excellent experience each time I have been here. I always feel well taken care of by the doctors and front desk staff!

my experience here hasn't been excellent, but not horrible either. getting charged for std/hiv testing seems like a rip off when red door offers these services for free / sliding scale. maybe this was due to my own negligence (should i have asked for sliding scale rates?) aside from that, i have gone here for my HRT, and once again i am surprised that the doctors seem to be unfamiliar with the alternatives to intramuscular/subcutaneous testosterone. regardless, i was able to get my prescription with little to no challenges after the initial explanation of my HRT method. generally believe that planned parenthood as an organization could do a better job in communicating with patients. grateful for the service nonetheless.

Despite all the harassment the employees get, they're honestly the best medical professionals I've ever seen. Fantastic bedside manner. They made sure I knew all of my options, as I went in for birth control and there's more choices than I could've ever imagined (something no other doctor has ever talked to me about before or since, nor was I taught these things in sex-ed) They made sure I was safe from protesters, many of whom screamed awful things at me, calling me a murderer and such from the sidewalk outside the building Facilities are somehow both very clean and quite home-y compared to most doctors offices. I love that they have so many options to make you comfortable, as I have a lot of medical trauma They take so many insurances and do payment plans for those who still struggle to afford care otherwise They were so respectful of my culture and faith, far more than any other medical place I've ever been I definitely plan on returning if need be, they were much nicer, simpler, cleaner, faster, professional, and calmer than any other medical facility I've ever gone to

So, I just moved from Texas and woke up this morning to find I had 3 doses left of my PrEP (the HIV prevention medicine that you absolutely must take, every day, without fail). I walked in at 5:40pm to this clinic thinking it'd be fine, because I got that prescription in a Planned Parenthood - in Texas. Turns out they can't necessarily share data. And they couldn't guarantee I could be seen, and their next appointment that fit my work schedule was a week away. So I'm sitting there in the waiting room having a minor panic attack (if you're on PrEP you know how serious it is to never miss a dose) and by sheer luck apparently someone canceled. I hear my name being called and I head back, still stressed to death, and that's when I met Raven. They were the most honest-to-goodness kind person I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with in any clinic, or honestly anywhere, period. I went in a tense mess but within minutes we were laughing and chatting and all the stress just melted off. Not only was he nice, but genuinely warm, and even as anxious as I was they made me feel like it was going to be okay. They weren't able to answer every question but did his best throughout, and put up with me rambling on about literally everything... I mean, sincerely, this clinic is beyond lucky to have Raven. He's a treasure, and I hope I get to see them at every visit. The doctor was also very polite and friendly, and I was able to get a new prescription for my meds sent to my pharmacy easily. Another key thing is they're open weekends, which, for someone with a 8-to-5 weekday job is super helpful. I'm glad I was able to get help and not have to risk missing my meds (or going to St. Paul at 7:30 in the morning tomorrow to another clinic that had an opening), but Raven and the doctor (whose name is escaping me, embarrassingly) took this experience from being just 'well, I got the bare minimum I needed' to being one where I walked out feeling welcomed and validated and with the knowledge things would be okay. This happens to be the closest PP to me, but honestly, even if it were 20 miles away I'd still come back for the incredible folks here.

Im absolutely furious. I had to leave work today because of my medical problem with their implant. Ive had it for 11 months, and yet im having a very heavy period and 2 weeks and almost fainted at work. I called and was told I needed to come in today to see whats wrong with me. I got there 10 mins before my appointment when they told me they called me and had to reschedule because of weather. I had to sit and wait for 30 mins for my uber to pick me up when the woman behind the desk decided to leave. I was told my appointment would take an hour, but they decided they could still stay?? I don't care about weather. This was a priority according to the nurse I talked to earlier that day. Im completely baffled by the ignorance. I could have still been seen, but they chose to make me leave when half the staff was still there by the time I left. I im coming back for my reschedule appointment, but I will not be coming back here after that.

The only PP where I was called promptly for my appointment without waiting half an hour or more - I go to PP for PrEP which means waiting twenty minutes in the clinic after the test to get results, so this was a relief. Very clean clinic with friendly MAs and staff. ♥️

You know, i usually dont bother to write reviews, but i see a lot of controversy here. When i come here for sti screenings, the folks are always professional and understanding. And I cant think of a time I've ever had a late appointment (tho i prob wouldnt remember that sort of thing for more than a year or two). So my personal experience has been totally fine. This may be a tacky question, but - these reviews arent screened, right? Google doesnt verify reviewers actually have used the service. So, idk. This seems like the sort of thing "well-intentioned" people could abuse with little effort. Edit - now that i think about, they did accidentally double book me last time i went, and rescheduled me the day before my appointment. 4 stars seems fair, then - they're still my go-to.

I recently had my first visit at this clinic. The service and care were exceptional. It was the most welcoming and caring health care that I've ever received at a clinic, especially for gynecological issues. I felt seen and heard.

Great experience here. I was nervous from past experiences but the staff is lovely. Tyler at the front desk provided great customer service, the medical staff are well trained and kind. They had a program that completely covered my visit! If you are in need of care definitely consider planned parenthood, so happy this organization exists.

I always feel very comfortable and respected here. Very professional yet personal. This is the only healthcare I receive where I feel genuinely safe. I also really appreciate those who are stationed outside with pink umbrellas to shield you from the crazies yelling at you from the street. If I could give more stars I would.

Consistently the best, most high quality medical care I’ve ever received. Staff are all beyond wonderful and go above and beyond in their trauma-informed approach.

Second time I’ve scheduled an appointment waiting an hour in the waiting room. So I’m leaving now. Shouldn’t have to have an appointment to be here for 2 1/2 hours. At this point it has to be a tactic to get people to leave.
