This place has a great potential to do better. It already have good customer service and consistent taste. Here are a few things they need to improve, again, these are small changes that can completely change the experience here: 1. Better silverware, plates, serving dishes. The silverware here looks like the cheapest from Walmart. It honestly do not go along with the location of this restaurant. It’s not a big investment honestly. 2. Decoration: Sometimes simplicity is best. The decorations they had 3 years ago including the lentils and beans in a glass container in the shelves and cheap pearls in a glass bowl with water stains and no water on the tables etc needs to go. By no means this is affecting the DELICIOUS food they have but it’ll definitely affecting the experience this place could provide. I visit this restaurant every now and then and enjoy the food every single time. They do have parking in the back, just make sure to ask the server to validate the parking. Enjoy!

Paneer tikka sizzlers - they charge $21, the quantity is soo less, and it does not justify as “sizzlers”, it doesn’t have other vegetables? Sorry but this was so disappointing. I hope you guys realize this. This is not the right way to serve food. If you are serving “indian” food. Please be respectful of it. 🙏🏼 Thanks for your service anyways.

Darbar catered the Grooms Dinner for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. The food was delivered hot together with the chaffing dishes to keep it warm. The owner of the restaurant delivered it himself and helped set up. The food was delicious and the spice level was exactly as requested for a group of guests that included some with little or no exposure to Indian food. It was also excellent value for money.

Darbar has really amazing Indian food. The food looked great and was cooked perfectly. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants in the twin cities. Definitely going back.

Customer service is fine. Nothing out of the extraordinary. Chicken Tikka Masala is adequate. It does taste good but it’s not the best I have had. Garlic naan is missing some type of flavor and it comes burnt on the top. Gorkha Palace in my opinion has better naan. It’s a spacious area. When eating in the evening an hour before close: Be a little weary as they’re quite strict when they close. In fact, you feel rushed to pay for your food and the people come out and tell you they’re closed right at 10:00pm. Which it makes sense because they do close at 10:00, however, it disrupts the customer experience. When I go to Gorkha Palace they never rush you and at times we would stay 30 minutes past closing. It just feels like at Darbar they’re rushing you out so they can close right at 10:00pm. If that’s the case, give your customers a warning that you’ll close in 30 minutes.

Authentic. Flavorful. Delicious! We were looking for somewhere to stop on our way through Minneapolis on a road trip and their menu immediately cause my mouth to water. Had Samosas, Garlic Naan, and Aloo Gobi. Hubby had the Chicken Korma. Everything was absolutely delish! ...So Delicious in fact that on our way back home we made sure we timed it right to come back for a second lunch helping. I had to repeat the Samosas and Garlic Naan. Followed with Lamb Vindaloo. Hubby had the Chicken Korma and Makani. Everything was incredible. Just like the authentic home-cooked meals that our Tamil friends cook for us. 😊

Really lovely place for dinner, all of the food I’ve eaten there (dine in and take away) has been fresh, hot, and super flavorful. They also have some tasty non alcoholic bevs, and lots of good vegetarian options :)

Dar Bar is one of my favorite spots in the cities. If you’re looking for flavorful, hot, with spices- like food you should then pay a visit here. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is set just right with the candle lit dinner, LED mood light, and orchestra covers of pop songs. I bring all my friends here and they all love it too.

Warning: mandatory 18% charge for " gratuity " added to your check. Good service, good food, clean dining room. Moderate prices. Spicy level is none or medium/very spicy. Their medium spicey is low heat.

It was a bit crowded on the eve of thanksgiving night as no other nearby restaurants were open that day. We loved the chicken curry, garlic nun and gulab jamun. There’s a 20% service charge added to the bill which we didn’t find anywhere in the menu (might have missed it). Other than that, good place to try some spicy meals.

I had this DoorDashed to me. Food alone was 5 stars very very good! My issues were they provided no silverware or plate/bowl or napkins. But the food was fantastic Garlic Naan was very good perfectly cooked. Makehani (Gf) I got the chicken hot and it was great perfect amount of spice for what I was looking for tonight. Just a touch of a lip tingle. Would order again just was disappointed with lack of things to eat it with. Again the food is top notch definitely give them a try!
