This place was absolutely amazing. From the service to the atmosphere, and especially the food, this place did everything right. I came here visiting from out of town, and everything my friends and I got were all great. Our server Tyler was a very nice and chill guy, and he took care of us. If I am in the area again, I would definitely come back. Their steaks are good, and one thing I loved the most was their Mac and cheese. It was the cheesiest Mac and cheese I’ve ever had, and it had a good flavor to it. Loved this place.

Skeptical. I visited this place because of a research on brunch places in downtown. Ended here because of the Google rating. Almost Worth it! The Italian sausage hash was really good. But my spouse ordered an avocado toast and it lacked flavor. Also, the coffee was legit; really good! Also ordered dessert and it was delicious.

This was our 4th anniversary dinner and I have to say it was the best dinner experience we have ever had. I will say make sure you have a reservation because it was packed on a Wednesday night. From the hostess, to the waitress (Kristin) to everyone that helped bring our food or refill our drinks were amazing. We have never tasted food so delicious and had service so great. We will definitely be back.

We came to Deans to celebrate my stepmother’s birthday. Mattie G was our waiter and he was phenomenal. We really enjoyed dining with him. He was so personable and energetic. He explained the menu, kept our water and wine glasses full and Checked on us to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We ordered steak, chicken, pork chops and crab cakes. For our sides we ordered creamed spinach, Mac and cheese, broccoli and mash potatoes. We really enjoyed our meal and can’t wait to return.

Amelia was the sweetest and helped us decided on our entire meal ( 1st timers) we were so pleased with everything and I believe the manager name Jackie was just as friendly & informative of all our questions. We will definitely be back - great location very clean & romantic! Thanks for making my Prince Charming birthday so special.

My husband and I had the best time celebrating my birthday at Dean’s. The food was scrumptious and the customer service was next level. Wilson was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great experience. We’ll definitely come here again the next time we are in Charlotte!

I visited Dean's for brunch on my birthday, Sunday January 23rd. I hadn't been to JW yet. I'd planned to take some pictures at the rooftop bar after eating, but they were closed and wouldn't open for an hour after I'd finished brunch. I was seated right away. I ordered the baked crab cake, crispy potatoes, and ginger sunrise juice. Though everything was good, I'm a Maryland girl. I thought the crab cake was overpriced for the size; definitely was a steakhouse price. If I had to base my decision to return on brunch alone, I probably wouldn't. I'd come back just to try their dinner options. Also, coming from the parking deck, navigating to the restaurant as a first timer wasn't the easiest. It didn't help that there was a lot of ice still on the ground & one staircase that was closest to the restaurant's entrance was blocked off and inaccessible.

We had a nice experience, but the food wasn’t quite the quality we had hoped for. The presentation was great and no complaints about the service, but taste trumps everything else. Unfortunately the sides were pretty “meh”, and the dry aged steaks didn’t have anywhere near the flavor profile you would expect from a dry aged steak at a fine dining steakhouse. The food wasn’t bad, but we hoping for something that was a little better than just being ok.

Let me begin by saying that this restaurant was such a wonderful experience for me. A few weeks ago, I dined here for my birthday. Everyone was incredibly friendly, the food was out of this world, and the customer service was top notch. Without a doubt, I would return here for food. I also received a free appetizer and dessert.

Great dining experience. The patio is very nice with heat lamps. Service was professional, striking a nice balance between being attentive without being intrusive. There’s no kids menu but they offer crayons and a picture for coloring which was an unexpected and nice touch. Overall, our meal was excellent. The only small complaint was that the Wagyu meatballs were lukewarm, instead of hot. Everything else was excellent. We look forward to returning.

The food was amazing. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Both me and my husbands steaks were cooked very well and the lemon pie was DELICIOUS, if you love lemon and the tartness of one you’ll LOVE theirs. All in all we had a wonderful anniversary dinner and can’t wait to go back!

If you are in Charlotte - you must try Dean’s! We had a wonderful evening and the food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5 or more !! Quentin our server was outstanding and made our evening so special !!

The restaurant is pretty nice. When you walk in it’s beautiful. It’s connected to a hotel so it looks bigger than what is it. I took my sister here for her birthday 🥳. That Caesar salad was amazing. I love a good dressed salad! That crab cake was so delicious 🤤. If you get those 2 items you’ll be happy with the choices you made haha. The steak was melt like butter in your mouth. I ordered that ckn thinking it was something else and it wasn’t good way overpriced I was definitely looking for the rest of the chicken when they brought it out 🥴. I wish they would have wrote happy birthday on my sister dessert plate. I love a good happy birthday on the on the plate when I’m fine dining. Great for pictures. I did a video it was a candle on the plate that’s it. For what I spent it wouldn’t have hurt for them to write happy birthday with the chocolate sauce on the plate. I’ve been to cheaper restaurants and other fine dining restaurants that do it. Other than that pretty decent experience.

The restaurant is low lighting which made it great for an intimate setting. Bruce was our waiter and he did a wonderful job! Bruce explained the menu, let us try different drinks that accommodate our palates, and made side my boyfriend got his birthday cake. Bruce made our time at the restaurant wonderful! Thanks Bruce :)

I came here with a friend to celebrate and Jennifer, Brett and Q truly made this experience one to remember! From their friendly personalities to their impeccable customer service, they really went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I were taken care of. I can’t wait to come back and visit them again.
