Wow!!! What a great meal at Cagle's Diner. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. Had the best double cheeseburger 🍔🤤🍔🤤🍔🤤🤤🤤🤤. Lots of menu opinions. Great staff - they get busy, so come early! New daily specials - fresh and home cooked!! The weekend menu has expanded in the evening. I love this place and I'm sure you will too!

My wife and I ate here for the first time last evening 6/6/23…..she got a bbq sandwich, she really liked the smoke flavor, I got a “smash” style cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce & tomato.That was a delicious burger, better than any from a franchise restaurant. We enjoyed the apple bites with vanilla ice cream also delicious. Staff was very friendly, food was hot….couldn’t ask for a better experience !! We will definitely go back !! Highly recommend !!

Just wow. It has been a long time since I've had such a bad restaurant experience. Let's start with the positive; the food was tasty and fresh, and the physical location was nice. However, we had a 45 minute wait after giving our name to the hostess. Fine, except that they allowed another couple to enter and seat themselves without any wait at all, bypassing my party of two and another duo who had been patiently waiting our turn. So yeah, they were busy when we arrived on a Friday evening. We had no consistently dedicated server, which may be where this train left the tracks. We placed an order with one friendly person, were brought drinks by another, and after a relatively short time, our entrées were served. Sadly, no silverware or napkins were provided until specifically requested. Our baked potatoes were switched to French fries without consulting us in advance (they had run out of potatoes). My dinner companion has a true allergy to all milk and bovine proteins and so ordered his side salad without cheese (reactions can range from mild to throat swelling and dangerous). First, a dinner salad with cheese was brought. When the offending cheese was pointed out to the server, it was removed, and a side salad (correct size this time) was delivered. All looked well until, after some bites, a layer of cheese was uncovered in the new salad. Our server apologized, and reported the problem to her manager. The manager asked if my friend was having a reaction to what he had already eaten, (fortunately not), and took away the salad. She said that she would discuss the seriousness of this mistake with the kitchen staff. She never returned to our table. We had to flag another waitress to request our tab. Last, and certainly, least of my complaints, was an overcharge at checkout. This overcharge was promptly corrected by the cashier when it was pointed out. Ok, that was probably TLDR, but that was our experience.

The food has always been good. But ever since they have moved into the new building the service has became awful. Rude waitresses and rude people to just be calling in a to go order. Telling us we cannot put a kids to go order in unless our kids are there. I mean come on you can go to about any restaurant and put in a kids to go order. I mean idk what's going on. The only Nice and decent people that is there is the owners. At the old building everyone was nice and they actually served with a purpose. Now it's just like they don't care. We have had to many bad experiences the past 3 times I've tried to eat there. So no more. I hate it because the food is good.

Bad service will ruin a restaurant. The food is great, but the service and experience is terrible. My family has been coming here since 2019, at least once a week and we loved them. They moved to the new location and ever since we haven’t been treated like valued customers. First incident- waited 30 mins to be seated, that was no issue as they had only been opened at new location for 2 weeks. Sit down, we have no silverware or napkins. Waitress came took our drink orders, came back with drinks said she’d be back for food ordered. Waited 15 mins until she finally came back. Again, they were busy so we let it slide. Placed food order. My whole party ran out of drinks, even ate the ice from being so thirsty. Waited an HOUR for drinks to be refilled. Our waitress didn’t check on us not even one time after she gave us the drinks. We left before the food came. Told the owner, she gave us the drinks on the house and apologized. 2nd incident- Sat down pretty fast, was extremely hot in the restaurant. Yet to figure out why. No napkins or silverware again when seated. Had to ask for them. Giving our food order to the waitress, I asked what were the sides with the kids meals she said “just fry’s” I said “oh okay on the menu it says you can choose a side, but that’s fine we’ll take fry’s.” Asked for ice-cream, they had no ice cream even though it was on the menu. Got our check, they charge for water, even though it was no where on the menu. The kids meals come with a drink, waitress charged for kids drinks. Waitress was a young girl and wasn’t very friendly. 3rd incident- placed a to go order, started to place 3 kids meals to go and was told “we don’t place kids meals to go because we can’t see the kids in person.” Now I have a large family, we always do to go orders due to having small kids. I’ve NEVER heard that before! A bogus rule and honestly that’s the finale strike for me!

I will just start with ; I am aware the minimal food options in the Seagrove- Robins area. However the last 3 times I have went here have been absolutely horrible. The place CAN serve great food, but here lately I have had hour waits for very sloppy, cold and unsettling food. I even made sure to call the food in 40 minutes earlier because I expected them to be busy on a Friday night, but then I waited 20 minutes in the drive thru that did not budge. So I proceeded to go inside hoping my food was done… it couldn’t be found by all 4 women working the front for the first 10 minutes.. When it finally came time to pay, some middle age blonde woman with full attitude insisted her grandmother to NOW start telling callers of the hour wait and that the customers are coming in upset..>> I legit hadn’t said a word about my service the entire time.. I get home and my food isn’t even all there. I am just so frustrated that I couldn’t get a simple apology for any of the mixup or wait. I truly get the memo that this service has been normalized.. maybe because people think we’re all “rednecks” I DONT KNOW OR CARE but I will not be going back.

Great home-cooked meal!! Hard working family runs this restaurant. Michelle and Cloey do a great job making sure all who walk through the door felt welcome! I recommend when you’re in the area!

Very small local diner. Great friendly service. Fast service and good food. I really enjoyed the staff. They were all friendly with myself and 2 kids. We stopped here on our way home from the zoo. We got a picture with the bear statue in the front and it was just all around a cute place. You could tell a lot of locals come here because the staff greeted them when they'd come in and laugh with them.
