220C Banh Mi & Coffee in Matthews. Great service and Banh Mi! I got #2 and #5, love it. The baguettes are made on site! It was Sunday morning at 7am ish and they are the only shop that’s open, 2 thumbs up for their hard work . Support small business‼️

The best Banh Mi I have ever had! It tasted so fresh and the bread was flaky on the outside/soft on the inside. So perfect! I got the crispy pork filling and the pork meat was very tender while the skin was perfectly crispy. Would be nice if crispy pork&rice is added on the menu! I don’t think it is available anywhere in Charlotte yet. The pastries are also very yummy! My husband who is super picky said he really likes the hot dog bun :) Service was great. The staffs were super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

This place is an awesome gem. No need to go to Vietnam to experience authentic flavours and fresh meals. Bang Mi with tofu and egg was perfect crispiness to the freshly baked and toasted hero baguette. Pickled vegetables were crunchy and flavorful. Both the Thai tea and Taro lattes, hot with oatmilk were so delicious and surprisingly well balanced with rich taste. Having lived in NYC for 20+ years, moving to Charlotte has made us explore more authentic food places and this one is now one of our favourites. Well worth the visit!

Enjoyed a grilled chicken sandwich with spring rolls. I took home 2 hot dog/cheese breads. Delicious! Good Vietnamese food. Comfortable waiting and eat-in atmosphere.

Lovely little coffee shop / lunch spot! The spring rolls were tasty and perfectly fried - not greasy or too doughy. Really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee too! The place is beautifully decorated and there’s a good amount of seating. Can’t wait to go back and try their pasties

Honestly, I had no idea we had a banh mi & coffee shop that opened at 7 am. Not only was the food delicious, service quick, but the atmosphere is perfect. I get the coffee lofi jazz sorta vibe from this place. Which if you are like me is right up your alley to feeling good, happy, motivated, and maybe a little hungry. 😋 Couldn't expected any better from anywhere else. Edit: I mentioned the food was tasty, but I didn't do what this bulgogi deserves. This is hands down the best bulgogi banh mi I have had...not just charltote I'm including LA, Atlanta, and Miami. I haven't tried it all, but I can say this was 10/10. So tender and flavorful...perfect.

Stop by and found this gem in the area. This has one of the best banh mi I ever had and I'm from Houston, TX. The bread on the banh mi is fresh and crisp. I selected the cold cut banh mi which is more traditional and it was the best I have ever eaten. I am definitely going back a few times before I head back home this week to Houston. The vietnamese coffee is also fresh and made to order! Will be back to try other items on the menu!

220C is simply the best! 5+ stars. We hosted a post-wedding party for 100 family & friends and as a "late night" treat we served 4 trays of Pork Banh Mi #8. They were such a huge hit, and the banh mi stayed so good for a few days as we finished the trays. Excellent food and wonderful team.
