Disappointed this room was not what the pictures showed ! For as much as they are charging I could have just went to a motel six or best western! This was way overpriced! They don’t give out beach towels! All the pools were closed beside the only one by our room too! Won’t return and wish I could leave now! If I hadn’t booked through a third party entity that was non refundable !!! The TV is so small and it’s all old and cheap looking! I’m highly upset at the false marketing! The 250$ hold on top of the overpriced room too!

We vacationed at Pawleys Island for our 20th wedding anniversary. We booked a one bedroom suite at Pawleys Plantation through Litchfield. It was terrible. Filthy, disgusting refrigerator door. Blinds that didn’t work in the living room. One fork in the kitchen. Filthy baseboards in the bathroom. Old, dirty chairs in the living room. I went to Litchfield and was was told I would receive additional dinner ware which I did not receive. Also told one night would be credited. I haven’t seen that yet. I understand that Litchfield represents private owners; however, there should be standards and if the owner cannot abide by them, Litchfield should not rent their place out. I felt like the ‘red headed step child’ because I wasn’t at their site.

Totally not worth the money for the room I got. I would say its not worth any more than.. $45 dollars and thats during the busy season. It was the smallest room I have ever had. You had one window which was the walkway. And you could see the other building. No view at all. And the beds were not any good. I will not be back to this one. I will look at the golf view side next time. As my brother got a condo for only a few more dollars and it was a 3 bedroom over looking river club.

As the sun painted the horizon with hues of orange and pink, my wife Wendy and I found ourselves immersed in a captivating love story at Litchfield Beach. From the moment we arrived, we were spellbound by the sheer beauty of this hidden gem along the South Carolina coastline. Litchfield Beach exudes a serene ambiance that sets the stage for unforgettable moments. The soft, silk-like sands beckoned us to wander hand in hand along the shoreline, where we witnessed the ocean's waves dance in perfect rhythm. Each day, the water revealed its stunning shades of blue, enticing us to plunge into its crystal-clear depths. This year marked our third summer at Litchfield Beach, and the experience has been nothing short of magical. With every sunrise, we felt a renewed sense of gratitude for being able to share these moments together. The beach became a canvas for our love to unfold, as we laughed, played, and created cherished memories. Beyond the beach itself, Litchfield offered us a diverse range of activities to enjoy. We explored the nearby marshes, enchanted by the graceful marsh grass and the wildlife that called it home. The local seafood delicacies at the charming beachfront restaurants tantalized our taste buds, adding another layer of joy to our stay. But what truly made this place extraordinary was the way it brought us closer as a couple. Litchfield Beach seemed to magnify our love, as we marveled at the beauty around us while finding solace in each other's embrace. It became our refuge, where we faced life's challenges together, and where our love grew stronger with each passing day. As we gazed at the stars twinkling above the coastline on a moonlit night, we knew that Litchfield Beach would forever hold a special place in our hearts. It became the backdrop of our love story, the canvas on which we painted our affection, and the sanctuary where our souls felt at peace. If you're looking for a destination that seamlessly blends breathtaking beauty with the opportunity to create lifelong memories, Litchfield Beach is the place to be. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply wish to bask in the serenity of the ocean, this captivating paradise promises an experience like no other. As for my wife and me, Litchfield Beach will forever be synonymous with love, joy, and the beauty of life's simple pleasures. It is where our hearts found solace, and where we fell in love all over again, year after year. Litchfield Beach, thank you for making our summers truly unforgettable. We look forward to returning time and time again to relive our love story against your stunning backdrop.

If you are planning to come here in the near future, please know that there is major construction going on at Bridgewater. There are dumpsters and debris all around the building accompanied by VERY loud construction noises right outside of rooms and within earshot of the pool. They aren’t able to keep up with complaints. We are here for a funeral/family reunion and it’s been a hot mess for all of our families.

Great place to stay. I've been coming for 20 years. Some improvement needed in customer service. The guys are stuffy, but the ladies from housekeeping to the front desk are very friendly. Management should suggest a smile & greeting when a visitor is in their presence. You get room service, but you must make your own bed. Last day for me but it's been a good stay.

We enjoyed the condo at Litchfield by the Sea while visiting SC. The condo was like home away from home. It was also pet friendly which was a big plus for us.

Parking lot is a little difficult to follow in the dark but other then that amazing staff and hotel. Oh and if you have a fear of spiders, don't come here 😂 they're everywhere! Overall great experience though. We'll be back next year!

😠 Where to begin, we'll there isn't actually a restaurant in this hotel. The ice cream shop was closed for the season, and that information wasn't disclosed at any time. Upon arrival, we were told the hotel was being renovated. So we were listening to jack hammers and power tools. Not a peaceful vacat...

😠 My wife and I are in our 60s and travel often. We had spent some time at Isle of Palm and headed north to Litchfield. I grabbed a room here on-line without doing enough research and was really sorry. The room was grossly over priced. This might be an $89 room, but certainly not worth the $300 we pai...
