Check in process at the time of my last (and final) visit required me to fill out Covid questionnaires for both children before being checked in. I was in the office within the allotted late arrival time but had to wait behind someone checking out to check in. Front desk staff refused service. I am not big on expressing my emotions in public so I was surprised that I began crying after pleading with them to see us. The rest of the staff in the background behind the person (not) checking us in just stared at me. I am hearing impaired so I thought maybe I missed some crucial communication but nope, just a lack of humanity and compassion. There was no one in the waiting room. I don’t understand why the need to kick us out. When I reached the car I had to explain to my kids that the way we were treated was not OK. Take the kind route. Help others. We are all out here just trying to make our way through the world. Compassion counts.

Get out now. My son has been going there and everything is viral. Everything is viral. They will not take the extra steps to figure out what is going on. They will do Covid tests but not flu tests when it’s flu season. Nope. My kid has asthma. They had no idea. And he was at 50% lung capacity… how does a doctor not hear that when listening to their lungs…

Dr. Kohn is a really nice person and is good with kids. Not sure medically how good he is but has a nice personality. Only stayed a short time at this practice. The paperwork they give you is just basic info printed out on how old your child is and they hand write measurements and weight on bottom. No names, dates, or graphs on paperwork. The portal for this office is pointless to sign up for; no information is on it and no way to message doctors. Just wasn't what I'm use to or want in a doctor office.

Our experience here was AMAZING. We were visiting on vacation and my son had a bad rash so we took him here, and Dr. Cone was unbelievable! The FIRST doctor I’ve ever met to actually care about his patients and really interact with the kids and establish a great environment for families. Anyone who’s looking for the best care... Go to Dr. Cone!

We used this doctor's office for over 6 years with our 3 kids. We moved to Pittsburgh and had to find a new provider. Our primary doctors were Dr. Fogelman for our daughter and Dr. Kohn for our sons. I can't speak highly enough about either of them. Amazing bedside manner, great with the kids, extremely knowledgeable and parents themselves so they could relate and often give personal anecdotes on most topics we discussed. They were so encouraging to us as parents to help us be positive about the jobs we were doing and guiding us to make good decisions. I've had a few recent encounters with Dr. Maggie as well and she was also great. We've recommended many friends to come here with their kids. They have office hours available first thing in the morning for walk-ins which we used quite a few times before work. I hate we had to part with this wonderful practice. Highly recommended!!!

Should have read reviews closer. Strict 10 minute late policy- not sure why this place was recommended by some folks when I said I was looking for a patient Dr for my extremely social anxious teen. Never heard of a place for children with such a short late policy, that's madness. Unless you know your kids will always be perfect and easy, go elsewhere. Fortunately this was just a new patient/well check for us and not a sick child I just dragged out of bed. Feel so hard for other parents! Also, part of confusing collection of medical buildings that all look the same. So it's easy to get a little turned around first time.

I share this review as a first time mom with an 8 month old. My baby has been coming here since newborn stage, and the doctors are just fantastic. I’ve seen Dr.Kohn mostly and Dr.Folgeman once so far. Both have been so great to us, listened to every thing I had to say, answered all my questions with great detail. They both have kids which makes talking to them so easy since they’ve been through it all. And they are so so sweet to my boy. This place has bad reviews for their late policies but hey they have multiple patients everyday you have to be on time, no accommodation for certain people that’s life. I will always recommend coming here, love it!

I really liked Dr. Ney. He was very thorough with me. Without going into detail about the issue that -- issue was not corrected, because it possibly cannot be corrected from the toolbox offered at this office. But it was a positive experience getting the help that I did from Dr Ney. And I have a better understanding of what my issue is-- I've been to multiple doctors trying to understand what my issue is. Thank you Dr Ney! The office staff has been very kind. In particular I'm giving a shout out to Taylor who sits at the front desk. What a gem of a human being!! If it were up to me I'd give that girl a raise, & clone her. Thank you Taylor for your kindness and help.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to nc with my family when I was a child dr Fogleman was the absolute best she still is however she has been helping me with my asthma from the time she diagnosed me in 3rd grade I am now currently 19 and when I had to speak with someone about needing to pick up a nebulizer a different doctor that I had been pushed with who hasn’t helped in any way with my asthma said that I do not need a nebulizer and continued to prescribe an inhaler when I called I did address the fact that I have 2 inhalers already however they are not working well with my lungs therefore someone with asthma would NEED a nebulizer treatment but according to this newish doctor I am “too old” to get a breathing treatment which I thought was funny because your never too old to get a treatment done when you go to the Emergency room I was there just 2 days ago where they needed to pump me with air I’ve never been so unimpressed as I have been the past couple years with some of the newer doctors here and if you ever work with dr Fogleman she is the absolute best and he’s been there long before I was her patient

Asheville Children's Medical is by far the worst doctors office you can choose !!! If you are looking for great quality care choose somewhere else.

The nurses here are amazing and my kids doctors are so great! They really care about the kids and love seeing them. Dr. Bevilacqua and Dr. Fogelman have been my kids doctors since birth and the kids live seeing them.

Love this Pediatrician office! They have seen both of my children since birth. Dr. Kohn and Foggleman are favorites, but they are all wonderful! Their hours are great and have very accommodating sick child visit hours, even weekends.

If your child is healthy and doesn't need anything or if your ok with your child not being diagnosed or misdiagnosed for months on end this is the place for you! Several months and several appointments of being told my son only has a cold, took him to another dr and within ONE appt was diagnosed with asthma and in need of breathing treatments etc. He is 10x better now!

Doctors are great! My kids see Dr.Fogelman and Dr.Kohn. Nurses can be a challenge to work with over the phone, but docs make up for it!

I love this place! My son is 12 years old and has been going there since birth. They are all very nice and helpful. The doctors take there time with you and really explain everything. I will always recommend this place to everyone!
