The trail bridge from City Lake Park and Piedmont Environmental Center is finally open. The water park looks like it's gonna be a fun time.

The park is amazing, the new pool is not worth the hype. A 50% surcharge if you donโ€™t live in High Point is ludicrous. The major water park down the road in Greensboro is actually cheaper and way more fun with plenty more space. Iโ€™m afraid leaders poorly calculated the expense. The bond covered construction apparently, but did nothing to supplement admission. Youโ€™ll have more fun, have more space, and save more money getting wet and wild, if you know what I mean. Such a bummer; I was excited for this to open but the hype on the news makes it seem like a pompous park.

This is a "most visit" park, for BBQs, small gatherings, water activities or just relaxing with mother nature.

Great place to bring the family. Go fishing, rent a boat, or go for a ride on the water slide.

Itโ€™s really cool after they rebuilt it. Itโ€™s always packed & not a lot of places to sit. I recommend bringing youโ€™re own chairs. For the price itโ€™s nice for the family.

The park is fine. The GPS tries to take you to the wrong road, into the "exit only" back road.

I've been going here since I was a kid, and now I take my kids here. If you're looking for a fun family activity to take your kids for a few hours and burn their energy, this is the place. There Alot of different things to do to keep interests. There's a train. Mini golf. A merry go round. A ferry. Paddleboats. And a really nice new playground. You can fish here and rent paddleboats and kayaks. Also, if I'm not mistaken, they have hiking trails too.
