My wife and go go to retro Cooper City almost every day. Arthur always makes us feel welcome. The place is clean and well maintained and the new equipment is outstanding. Mike at the front desk makes the difference. He greets everyone by name and makes the gym outstanding. We love the Retro life.

Pros: Good selection of equipment. Nice guest policy. Easy check-in. Decent location. Cons: They’ll keep charging your card after your cancel your membership (this is illegal!) They don’t fix anything, the water fountain has been broken for years (no cold water) and the music is bad. Everybody wears headphones to block out their terrible choice of music. I’ve heard that “I’m Good (Blue)” song so many times I HATE IT. None of the equipment is bolted down which is dangerous. I don’t know how they get insurance with the gym in this condition.

Well managed gym and a friendly professional staff with a huge selection of equipment that is well maintained, clean, and organized. This gym gets it right where a lot of other gyms gets it wrong.

I joined here 2 years ago after leaving YouFit. I honestly don’t want to go anywhere else to workout. Great community, no judgement, plenty of new machines and access to anything you are looking to use for any type of workout. Extremely helpful and great staff and they deserve more praise for it. Depending on what time you come it’s not super busy and you don’t have to wait for machines to open up. I can’t emphasize how good this gym is in text… so just come in and sign up and see for yourself.

Retro is outstanding. Customer service, cleanliness, smoothie/supplement bar, and most of all, equipment are all top notch Staff is always professional, polite, strongly encourages putting back equipment when complete, and proper gym etiquette/consideration of others. They always have staff walking around cleaning & maintaining Fellow gym members are mostly awesome and on the same page, this is Cooper City after all... There are even showers, massage chairs, & a tanning booth Highly recommend

I can't say enough about Fit4Lyfe. The coaches walk the talk! They live, eat and breathe health and fitness and it shows. I can't imagine any coaches more knowledgeable than Jason and Sandy and Amanda +++. The work out are always different .. always challenging and .. always FUN! I lost a "boat load" of weight and my fitness level soared. Give them a try ... you WON'T be disappointed.

Oh I would recall on my first time they’re new to the area I walked in I was not greeted there are two young ladies that work in the front particularly the young lady with dark hair did not greet me was not friendly I would say no good customer service I wasn’t giving a tour or showing around she instructed me are you here for a tour or to work out I said work out the. she just pointed go work out and I shrug my shoulders and proceed with my work out but overall the gym is okay showers are dirty and smell are only two thing I like about this gym the boxing area and the heavier weight other gym I’ve been do have that but over retro fitness is a okay gym.

This has been my first experience with Retro Fitness and have not been disappointed! I train here about 4-5 times a week and find the consistent positive attitude and awesome music. I specifically love my trainer Arthur. He provides excellent personal training and he really cares about his clients by providing the best quality service, he gets to know you and push you in the right way. It’s a hard workout with happy people! And I am seeing results for sure. Thank you Retro Fitness!😃

The gym is very clean with new updated equipment on one side. They also have a larger side with additional equipment and training area. They have a very good smoothie bar. Bathrooms are always spotless. Sean the GM is outstanding. He handled a membership situation with my sons membership. He was great. Highly recommend this gym.

This gym is incredible. The staff at the desk always greet you with a smile and they are very helpful. They’ve got every machine you could possibly want with plenty of space. The members are also a great crowd I highly recommend.

I have been a member at Retro for years and I can easily say, I LOVE IT! The community is wonderful and the staff is always kind and helpful. Arthur and Kari really make the gym feel like home. They have a wide variety of equipment and are always looking for ways to update themselves. Most importantly, this gym is extremely neat and organized. I don’t have to waste time searching for weights or stress myself, putting back other peoples weights.

I came down from NJ for a weekend and wanted to squeeze in a workout. This is nicer than the Retro in my hometown that I frequent daily, more spacious, more equipment for everyone to use, a lot more variety. Afterwards I ordered a protein smoothie but they couldn’t process a card because the system was down. The gentleman was going to give it to me for free but I used cash instead. I greatly appreciate the customer service and would come back here again next time I’m in the area.

The trainers are amazing, the workouts never get easier but the challenge is what makes F45 so special. I love this gym and if you are determined to put in work and have the support/motivation of others and knowledgeable trainers this is the gym for you!

Fit4Lyfe has been a blessing to our family in so many ways. Sandi and Jason are amazing people!! They are also amazing as coaches. Their gym environment is like no other their personalities and passion for fitness is contagious in the gym :) I feel like I’m part of a big family and I honestly love working out and interacting with everyone there. It has personally been one of my lifesavers through this horrible time. I love all the other coaches there too they rock - Derek, Amanda and Carolina. Very impressed with this Retro. It's more spacious and has more equipment than my home club in NJ. Member satisfaction is a top priority for the staff here as well. Let me explain.... My son and I dropped in at opening, on a Saturday, a few weeks ago. An employee said their system was down and it couldn't scan us in. Ok, no big deal. We went in and did our thing. After finishing up, he and I wanted recovery shakes. The employee blended them up and I handed over my card to pay. He said that the system was still down and that we should just take the drinks for free. How generous!. In that instant, I knew I'd be swinging by later, or the next day, to square up. My son and I don't sponge off the hard work of others. Let me just say that in our home club, they don't accept cash, It's either card or they scan your barcode. So, the two of us are leaving with the drinks; walking toward the exit. A feeling makes me stop. I look over my shoulder and ask if they take cash per chance. The employee said they do, at this location. I walked back, pulled out bills, and told him to keep the extra. 'Crisis' averted. If I lived anywhere nearby, or even not so nearby, Davie would be my home club. Thanks.

Best gym in South Florida. The weights are always put back where they’re supposed to be. The staff always has people cleaning. They add new equipment regularly. Every time I visit another gym I always find myself missing Retro. If you are on the fence about joining this gym or some other place like La fitness do yourself a favor and join Retro.

5 yrs since i started my fitness journey. It all started at retro fitness & here i am 5 yrs later and we are still in hereee. Love the staff and love how clean everything is. Gym etiquette is on point, all dumbbells are always in their spot. You never have to go looking for things. All new machines. Zayn is super sweet at the front desk.

Took the inaugural class this morning with trainer/owner Jason and it's everything you'd expect from a Fit4Lyfe workout and then some! Got in a great sweat session with familiar faces from my Fit Family and met some new ones as well! Very excited for another location option and to meet many more Lyfers to come.

Without a doubt, the best HIIT gym in South Florida. I've been a Lyfer for 3 years and the Motivation, Enthusiasm and Camaraderie is second to none. Owners and Coaches, Sandy and Jason Tocci are true athletes in their own right and are committed to bringing out the best in their clients. With their guidance, I have lost over 50 lbs, run my first marathon and have participated in the National OCR Championships two years in a row. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Just joined this gym and couldn’t be happier. The coaches are awesome and the people working out here are a great group. I’ve had a hard time finding a group fitness class in the area that worked for me but this is the one! Facility is beautiful and conveniently located.

I've been coming to this gym for years and so has my mother, we both love it here! My mother has also been training with Arthur for years and hes been fantastic! My brother has been working there for a few months now and he loves it. Overall this gym has quality equipment, great staff, and great energy!

Absolutely love this gym! I have been coming here for half a year now and feel part of the Retro fam. The front desk employees are so welcoming every time I walk in (especially Kari). I have to say, the night staff at retro fitness are beyond friendly at this point, they’re like family. Everyone comes in with their game faces on. We’re all there to achieve our best and the staff at retro make sure we have fun doing so. Thank you to Kari, Emma, and Gabi for being so great at your jobs. My one request, if I could wish it into the universe, is for the normal hours to return. Most nights I get off at 9pm, back when Retro closed at 11pm, this wasn’t a problem at all! I left work excited for my workout. Sadly, since they now close at 10PM, my workouts are rushed and not nearly as effective. Hopefully we can get our 11pm closing time back!

I like the staff. They are so nice. They are willing to help you. I love that. Art and his staff are the absolute best customer service team. The equipment is also the best. What I mean is, it has all the stuff you would find in an old school style gym.

Staff is extremely helpful, friendly & professional. More than enough machines to workout. Hours of operation is perfect for my work schedule. They also follow strict Covid measures & makes sure the gym stays clean so that staff & members feel safe when coming in to workout. Best GYM I’ve ever joined!

We become members just about 1 year ago and The front desk welcome us by name now. Which is very impressive honestly! Total scam of a gym. I moved out of the area and have been trying to cancel my membership for over six months and they refuse. Manager is never available (no surprise) and they will not return phone calls. I had to claim fraud and cancel through my card and they keep harassing me for payment. I feel I have been more than patient so, I hope this gets dealt with by tomorrow because I'm feelin spicy and am about to make ALOT of noise!
