My partner and I are vegetarians, and we absolutely loved this place! The hospitality and warmth of the managers and waiters was incredible! Top notch quality of vegan food which we felt tasted better than non vegan Italian food. We had the homemade ravioli, Thai rice noodles, tiramisu, hazelnut and chocolate and aubergines and each dish was clearly cooked and made with such care and love that it translated into our experiences. This place can actually turn someone vegan for the food here is simply amazing! I will definitely miss this restaurant upon my return to London as it's hard to come by a restaurant like this and more over amazing and friendly people in this cozy restaurant

God this place is just amazing. We LOVED this food. It is no wonder you have to reserve far in advance because this is the best vegan food I had in all of Italy (stayed in several places throughout Italy for 3 weeks). The best restaurant and staff in Venice, and what a cool little location on a quiet street. Anything ok their menu is probably incredible. A MUST stop for any vegans/vegetarians stopping in Venice.

Best place to eat as a vegan in Venice!!! The food is so amazing and the staff so friendly we visited the restaurant repeatedly. Venice is not really a vegan friendly city but this restaurant just made our trip incredible. We even found vegan Tiramisu there which we never expected. All in all a wonderful experience. Can't wait to visit them again ❤️

Is it the only all-vegan restaurant in Venice? It sure as hell looks like it. Some smooth piano music in the background. Fine dining atmosphere. It seems that I am early, as it is quite empty (8pm). The service is professional and exceptionally fast. Almost like they could read my mind before I opened the menu. Magic. The seitan roast was smooth and almost melted in my mouth. The pumpkin side dish tasted like apple pie (quite unexpected). I made a big mistake by spilling an almost full glass of red wine on the table and floor. Silly me. The Aperol Spritz was well balanced. Honestly, I've had better vegan Tiramisu outside of Italy, but this was very good. Venice is a tourist city, that's just how it is. The prices are quite high for what you get. There is no competition if there are no other vegan restaurants either. But it tasted good.

Lovely little vegan restaurant outside of the tourist area. Plenty of items on the menu, including classic Italian and Venetian specialties. We loved everything we ate here and I would definitely return if I go back to Venice. Great to find a vegan restaurant in Venice! Make sure you book a table beforehand.

Food wasn’t good… Unfortunately we were disappointed when we tasted our plates… Lasagna was really bitter and didn’t taste good at all, goulash was ok but not worth the price, and the cheesecake was more like a yogurt bowl and wasn’t good either. Basically they charge you for 5 stars food when the food is just edible, if it was cheap I would understand, but I felt scammed… At least the service was friendly, so there goes an extra star for that.

Lovely people and good food even for no vegan people like me. I was expecting a bit more cozy location, that's the only cons. But recommended.

Only one vegan restaurant in Venice. Need to call in advance to reserve table. The service very friendly and professional. We had Russian salad, Temphe and Ravioli. All food was tasty and fresh. Recommended for all not only vegans.

Well this was good! We are not Vegan, not really vegetarian but we are trying to watch what we eat for the environment. With that in mind, this was a great choice, lovely staff, restaurant was a little hard to find and a way out but we would say we'll worth the travel to find it! Interesting menu, made us think, we don't really need meat in our diet. Hardly eat any at all now. Their food was very tasty. Highly recommended to make a change in your life. Nice!

I'm so glad i found this place for our first dinner in Venice. When we arrives a sign said they were fully booked but they luckily had a table for 2 left. Service was great all the staff we're very friendly and welcoming. Food and drinks arrived quickly. Food was some of the best vegan food I've had in a long time, delicious! A high recommendation from me :)

we were looking to try italian vegetarian food and the online reviews said to try this restaurant. it was actually the second recommendation but the first place didn’t have any bookings; this place you need reservations but they only answer the phone when they are open. The restaurant is nice and service and food delivery is very quick; portions are generous as well. we ordered the gnocchi and the mushroom ravioli. both were decent in terms of portion but needed a bit more flavor - the food was a bit bland and did not showcase the flavor of the ingredients. out of the two, the gnocchi had a better flavoring it’s a decent place but would only recommend if you are in the area

I was so excited to eat here - it was the only 100% vegan restaurant I could find in Venice! The restaurant was in a really quiet neighbourhood which was nice compared to the busy touristy areas. It was really easy to find from the vaporetto stop and didn't take long to get there, about 20-30 mins from St Marks. The staff were all really friendly and they clearly care a lot about the ingredients and quality of the food and drink they serve. We had a delicious Hugo spritz, the saor and panzanella, ravioli and Thai salad, and tiramisu and cheesecake. It was such a treat to have vegan ravioli and cheesecake especially! It was all really tasty and very reasonably priced as well. If I come back to Venice I would definitely come here again!

This is an oasis for vegans in Venice. That said, I had the best tiramisu of my life there today. So soft! I also highly recommend the Parmigiana dish 😋 Be sure to reserve your spot by phone if you can, or else make sure you show up a good 15 minutes before they open to make sure you have a seat.

Best food we had in 2 weeks of holidays, even for my husband who eats everything. Very nice and fast service. We had the lasagne, parmigiana, burger and ravioli. Best tiramisu ever. Iced teas were great too. So in love. Shame on the people who give it one star, only because they did not inform themselves that a reservation is needed!

Overrated. The lasagna was dry. The home made ravioli had alcohol in it, it didnt said on the menu. The staf was very unfriendly.

Main course was ok, what I recommend are the desserts. If you are vegan, the tiramisu is great but my absolute favorite were the truffles! Started with one and we ended up ordering three!

It doesn't get any better than this, and I'm glad. Some of the best vegan food ive ever had, completely topped my expectations!! In a beautiful and quiet part of town as well. The staff are so lovely

Deliciously vegan food in this little restaurant near the center of Venice. Super nice and friendly staff. Fast and efficient service. Even if you’re not vegan, give it a try!

The food was excellent!! Highly recommended. Diverse, special and very tasty dishes. The cakes were amazing too. My boyfriend is not a vegan and he really enjoyed it. Staff was kind and friendly, reservation in advance is recommended.

Excellent restaurant. I'm not vegan, and I only went because my guest was vegan. All the food I would have ordered at a regular restaurant. We had black and white ravioli, lasagna, chard antipasto, eggplant antipasto, and tiramisu and grandma cake for dessert. We also had a dry gewurztraminer wine. Everything was splendid. Ambiance was also so nice. We sat outside in a very quiet and quaint part of Venice. I highly recommend this place.

The place is amazing for vegans! They have an extensive menu and super friendly staff. The location is a little off bit but that is worth going. Tiramisu is a must try. I called them and asked for a special request as it was my partner’s birthday and they did it so well. The way they sang “happy birthday “ for her just made our day more special. Hospitality- 5 star Food - 5 star Cosy - 5 star Drinks - 5 star

Delicious quality vegan food. Portions could be bigger as the price is also a bit high, would be my only feedback. Otherwise beautiful quiet place for a nice dinner.

I was thrilled to try the veganized version of the Cannoli which gave me a wink everywhere in the city. I was surprised at how mouth-watering the potatoes (side dish) were. The main dish was excellent too (and the other two I tried from my folks). Cozy restaurant with a calm ambience. I want to highlight that the staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and patient. There was one tourist who ordered something he realized later that he had an allergy to and despite saying EVERYWHERE to let the staff know of allergies beforehand, the staff remained calm and accommodating.

Was a trek from our hotel but well worth it!!! Book in advance!! The BEST vegan tiramisu you will ever have. So so comparable to the traditional dairy version. All our food was excellent and wine was lovely. Rich lasagna and eggplant parmigiana, totally perfect. Cheesecake was a bit weird tasting and undercooked but all was forgiven with the tiramisu. Staff were so lovely. Can’t wait to return next time I’m in Venice!

We went there with a big group of people and had a set menu booked for us. We had some amazing vegan food and the staff was super friendly. I am mentioning that, cause the service we experienced in other places in Venice was generally super bad. Happy we went there ✌️

I truly appreciated the variety of options. Everything seems delicious! I got ravioli as main dish and cannolo as dessert. Simply amazing! I also ordered a caffè made from cicoria and tarassaco. Very nice taste, like caramel. The staff is friendly. The location is lovely.

Must see for vegans in Venice - a chance to try vegan versions of many classic Italian/Venician dishes. Everything was delicious, in particular recomend the lasagna, ravioli and 'grandma cake'. Service was very friendly, although be sure to book in advance.

Best vegan meal I have had in Venice! I would definitely recommend coming here, La Tecia serves some classic Venetian dishes and drinks (e.g. Bigoli in Salsa, Bellini) as well as Italian favourites such as Lasagne. The service was really quick and attentive, and the food tasted incredible. They also have a great dessert selection including Cannoli and Tiramisu which can be tricky to have as a vegan. Make sure you call to book in advance as it is reservation only.

Absolutely incredible!!! Cannot say enough good things about this place. Wish we could have eaten here multiple times. Friendly staff, and some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had, especially the eggplant Parmesan! Reservations are required fyi and the staff does speak English if needed 😊

Incredible, the best vegan food and it’s in Venice! Everything is fresh and homemade down to the pasta in the lasagna. We were lucky to have a takeaway!

  • 5/5 Naomi V. 1 year ago on Google
First, the food was absolutely delicious. Order the summer side salad and ravioli for the main dish. The kitchen stopped making cannoli, but if your request before hand, they will make for you. Truly pleased of this place! Best vegan food!

Very good and quality food restaurant. They have gluten free options. We had the green bowl, Breadless burger and Lasagna. Everything was good, however the burger was a little bland. Staff was kind. Reservations are mandatory.

This was delicious! I'm not vegan and actually a bit sceptical when it comes to vegan food but this was a pleasant surprise. The gnocchi and lasagna were both delicious and the tiramisu was out of this world. I would come back here and try more dishes!

  • 5/5 J. J. 2 years ago on Google
Indeed, it's the only vegan restaurant in Venice. But it's unique not only for this reason. The food was great and the service was friendly and attentive. We loved the interior.

Fantastic vegan food & friendly staff! Everything we ordered was super delicious but their vegan tiramisu was the best I ever had in four countries so far. Amazing food experience!!

I would highly recommend this restaurant for vegan and non vegans. The dishes where incredibly tasty and the best food we had in Venice . We order eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, mushroom ravioli, mixed salad and tiramisu and chocolate cake. Although it’s a bit out the center, the nice walk there is really recommended. The food itself is an amazing experience!

This was the best food - we came back again a couple of days later for more. Couldn't recommend here more! Absolutely amazing food and service :)

We came to Venice without expecting to find anything vegan at all. What awaited us is an absolute gem. La Tecia Vegana is an excellent restaurant a little outside from the busy city center with honest, home-made italian cuisine. The staff is super friendly and fast and the food is incredible for good prices. The only thing I would‘ve changed is the cold milk in the cappuccino :)
